Astro (Logitech) - A10 Series

You're looking at absolute trash. Even on sale those are overpriced for how terrible they are. Literal Temu quality shit sold by third party Chinese sellers on marketplaces like Walmart and Amazon. They're so cheap and priced so high that they can afford to constantly be "on sale" for 50%+ off and send you a second one for "free" if you [leave a positive review](https://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/cg1y6x/free_gift_from_beexcellent_is_this_for_real/). You are not gonna get anything particularly good with a budget that low, but Astro A10s are decent for $40. Logitech G432 or G435 are pretty good and can regularly be found for around $40 when they're on sale (which they currently are).

They're terrible. Literally Temu trash. Good headphones plus the DualSense mic are definitely better than this, and that goes for all the GameStop branded headsets. That said, there really aren't any half decent headsets at that price point. If you move up to the $30 to $65 range you can find a lot of good stuff like Astro A10, Logitech G432 or G435, HyperX Cloud III or Cloud Stinger 2, or SteelSeries Arctis Nova 1. But keep in mind that these are still budget headsets with the quality to match. They'll beat out the DualSense mic, but might not match the audio quality of your headphones depending on what you have. Edit: Also worth noting that everyone who has said anything positive about these so far have a vested financial interest in convincing people to buy this garbage. Stonkbros love anything GS puts out regardless of quality.

For example, I have an Astro A10, and while the objective qualities like sound quality are good, I think the most important thing about it for me is that it's the first headset I've used that didn't feel like it was going to break when placed on my apparently unusually shaped head (for that matter it's the only one I've owned that *hasn't* broken from that).

Some part of sound quality is subjective, but not all of it, I suppose fidelity would be a less ambiguous way to refer to what I meant.

Still use my Astro A10’s. Lol They work great and I hear people before most

A10s are good. I've had mine for over a year now and everything works fine.

Astro A10s are certified classic and will body any of those

I currently use the HyperX Cloud 2. It’s a great headset. Would recommend. And Before it I had Astro A10s Wired, They have stood up well over the years, highly recommend them. You can remove the cable if it’s damaged and replace it. Ive been through 5+ cables for it. I personally prefer cabled over wireless, I hate trying to remember to charge it.

So in my opinion I would get the asteo A10. They are like 30 to 40 dollars and I had expensive turtle beach as a birthday gift from family that were 150 and terrible. I also had the hyperX cloud ones, black and red and still the astro A10s were so much better for hearing footsteps and comfortable. Just my opinion

Wired, light, good sound. I alternate between those, the Rig 500 (good but heavier), and the Astro a-10

I had the first generation of Krakens, and they were way better than what they're putting out now. All the cost cutting made the product worse. The plastic feels cheaper, and sound is kind meh unless you like bassy headphones. Astro A10s are better in that price range, IMO.

If you're strapped for cash, Astro A10s are a safe bet and can usually be had for like $40.
