HyperX

Cloud II Series

TL;DR: Very durable, great value, but disappointing sound, 7.1 useless.

I just got new cloud 2 wireless and they sound okay (cant compare to the old ones), but the microphone on them is worse than the one from my previous 10 bucks china-headset, which makes the headset completely unusable.

that explains my audio issues, sadly support never told me this and now i am outside the window to return them.

i had mine for like 7 years. they are solid. i do agree these are a banger combo for an all in one headset. But. i recently upgraded to a standalone headset with an amp dac and a standalone mic i already had. the difference is night and day in quality. While i do recommend these for budget or people who cant be bothered but this is by no means the headphone endgame

I would absolutely recommend Hyper X Cloud II or Cloud III headsets. Been using it for years, it has great sound for music and games, is not overly costly and has the best comfort for long gaming sessions ive ever experienced. You see tons of live streamers using them aswell! Best wishes :)

I can see a few people have recommended Hyper X already, and I also throw my vote for them too. I have the Hyper X Cloud II because I got mine back in 2021 and they're still going strong. I prefer wired (hate dealing with bluetooth and charging nonsense) and there are no drivers to worry about. Literally plug in and use. The perfect kind of peripherals. Avoid Razer AT ALL COSTS. Their stuff is awful and their mandetory software is even worse.

Cloud 2 from that list but the JT1 performs better than the cloud 2 even while being a "music" headphone.
