Well Hall Effect keyboards are faster but for me the main benefit has always been the adjustable actuations. You can just have 2 different profiles one for gaming and one for typing where you have actuations where you like them. I found 1.5-2mm to work the best for me for typing while for gaming i have 0,2mm on WASD and actuations closer to the bottom for abilities to prevent misuse. Im currently using an Ajazz Alux68 that is pretty nice but the software was bad so i can not really recommend it. The Mchose Jet75 has been the best Hall Effect keyboard i have tried so far. Im waiting for an IPI Aurora75 that i have high hopes for. So im still looking for something i really love using.

kinda depends on what ur into tbh, the ajazz boards feel nice for the price but stock keycaps & stabs are meh if u like modding tho, its a fun starter

I just got an aluminum base / plated, USB C, hot-swappable HE keeb for $47 and love it. ALUX68 on Amazon. If you can get it on sale (tbh even at $60, I’d get it) it’s a steal. Will sell my Keychron and Ducky most likely

Nope, I bought a Chinese-brand AJAZZ 65% Hall-effect keyboard with no RGB a year ago for only 16 bucks, and it still works without issues. No ghost inputs compared to mechanical keyboards in its price bracket, and it does pretty much everything an expensive Hall-effect keyboard can do.

if you want an HE keyb I have an ajazz keeb for under 2k although its 68%

Idk what the other comment is talking about, hall effect keybs do make a difference in val, and they're not more expensive than mechanical keybs in 2024. I found the aula win65 he and the ajazz Hall effect keyboard on Amazon for the same price as a normal keyb. Also the fun60 lineup is nice. If you have the funds then why not
