I have the AKKO TAC75HE from their official Aliexpress shop. Its a FANTASTIC keyboard for its cheap price of 40$. Hall effect switches, full rgb control, software has every feature you will need, overall very great price to performance. The only drawback in my opinion is its build quality feels cheap, but what can I say for 40$.
tac75he 50 euro if it breaks 5 times and you replace it will be still less expensive than this overpriced piece of plastic. Also for the software debate only mentally ill people go into a keyboard software more than handfull of times
Well, I'm sure you'll want to upgrade a keyboard before it breaks either 50 dolla or 280 dolla so lying to your self that paying a premium for reliability for a bunch of keys is peak consumerism. I got this 50 dolla HE keyboard that does everything with all the 0.01 and 8000hz and 32gb and 500hz/turbo and I got convinced that wooting consumers and people in this subreddit are brainwashed.
I am a person of eye for detail worked in 3 star Michelin restaurants, raced supersport motorcycles, and won a couple of cod2/cod4 tournaments back in the day I also have thousands of $ knife collection so I understand quality and reliability.
The reason i said if it breaks 5 times is to emphasize on the prize difference of 2 plastic products that will both break long after you have upgraded.
My tac75 from akko never failed me also 199 is still 4x the price. I'm not against paying for what you like for whatever price you like, but I get triggered when there is so much glaze over a product which does not deliver in terms of premium, just slaps a ''good software'' and support and charges 4x the price.
I said "good software" and support not how you phrased it but what to expect from a reddit ape. It's like buying a calculator with good software and support, thats how i feel about it
akko every day of the week. my advice - go on AliExpress and get the tac75 HE, it's 75%, hall effect, feels great and has a bunch of different options for looks. the software isn't great but who cares? plus - akko also does really good higher end keyboards if you wanna put the money in.
Between the two I’d get the wooting which is a Hall effect keyboard. But there’s a lot of better quality Hall effect keyboards you can get for the price if not cheaper. They’re definitely available in Canada they have a few on Amazon.
Yea I’d definitely get a Hall effect keyboard I use one for cs2 and it gives an advantage when it comes to movement. Everglide su75 pro, Irok mg75 pro/max, chilkey slice 75, monsgeek m1 v5 tmr, mchose jet 75, IPI Aurora 75, ATK Hex 80, Iquinix ez80, and Akko Tac75 HE. These are all good tmr (which is similar to Hall effect but newer tech and some people consider it better) or hall effect keyboards at different prices. You can find videos on youtube about each and do your own research from there, I suggest migss on youtube he does some pretty in depth reviews on keyboards. I’m not 100 percent sure if they all ship to Canada but I would imagine most do. Also stay away from big brands like Razer, Corsair, Logitech etc. They aren’t necessarily bad but the build quality isn’t too good for what you pay for them.
A couple are out of your price range I think but I’d go with the chilkey slice75 he over all or the monsgeek m1 v5 tmr. If you want to spend less for for what will be similar quality I’d go with the everglide su75 pro or irok mg75 pro/max. You can do research on each one’s software which is basically gonna be the main difference. Just lmk if you have anymore questions.
