I got it from https://uk.whatgeek.com/products/aula-f108-pro-tri-mode-wireless-mechanical-keyboard?variant=50474476536122 The download at the bottom has the driver which also is it's configuration software, the settings bit on the board itself is in Chinese at first but you stumble upon the English, it's a little bit of a faff but the included paper should be translatable, I'll try and help the best I can.
r/keyboards • AULA F108 Does anyone own this yet i cant find much info on it ->I just got one, currently typing this on it and it feels and sounds lush. Bare in mind I'm coming from a Logitech keyboard with blue switches so this is a whole new world to me, but considering the price and the fact it's hot swappable I'd say it's well worth it. Incredibly heavy as well which is nice, though as others have said don't expect much from the screen.
r/keyboards • AULA F108 Does anyone own this yet i cant find much info on it ->I picked it up and I'm typing on it right now, It's smooth, I like the lighting effects, but I'm having trouble getting the software to do anything. I downloaded it off of the WhatGeek link on this post, but it doesn't seem to be able to detect the keyboard in either BT or USB 2.4 modes. Otherwise it's a nice keyboard, no major complaints here.
r/keyboards • AULA F108 Does anyone own this yet i cant find much info on it ->I just got this keyboard today. Has anyone found a website to download the manual? Where do I get the program to configure it? How do you set the date and time? I've searched the internet for 2 hours and this site is all I've found.
r/keyboards • AULA F108 Does anyone own this yet i cant find much info on it ->First thing I stumbled on was English. That was fun. Lol Does the software let you fix the time and date? Thanks for your help!
r/keyboards • AULA F108 Does anyone own this yet i cant find much info on it ->Yes I had to install the software. As soon as I plugged it into the USB port it updated the time. I immediately un-installed the software because I don't trust it and I don't need to use it for anything. Better to get it off my computer than have all my info going to China
r/keyboards • AULA F108 Does anyone own this yet i cant find much info on it ->So all of a sudden, I can't connect to the Aula software anymore. The day I installed the "driver" I was able to connect and sync the clock. Since then, I haven't used it. Today I was going to try and remap a key and it won't connect. I tried USB and wireless dongle. Neither way connects. When I launch the software it says something along the lines of looking for keyboard or something like that and tells you if you are connected wirelessly to press a key to exit sleep. I tried that. I then unpluged and plugged in the USB cable and it makes the USB connection sound and pops up for 1 sec then plays the USB disconnect sound and goes right back to trying to connect. I tried every USB posrt on the front and back of my pc and they all do the same thing. Has anyone else experienced anything like this before?
r/keyboards • AULA F108 Does anyone own this yet i cant find much info on it ->Yes. I figured it out. I was trying to connect with a USB cable but the setting on the keyboard was for 2.4ghz. Once I changed it to wired it worked. It wouldn't connect with the wireless dongle.
r/keyboards • AULA F108 Does anyone own this yet i cant find much info on it ->I get about a week on a full charge but I haven't let it run down below 25%. Using it every day for probably 2-3 hours each day uses in my estimation, 60-75%. I have one of the lighting effects on at 60% brightness as well. I'm pretty sure mine sleeps after 5 minutes and it's connected via 2.4gz.
r/keyboards • AULA F108 Does anyone own this yet i cant find much info on it ->It's going great for me! I might not be able to be too technical in describing it as it's my first mech keeb and I can only compare it to my membrane keeb. Below are my thoughts so far. No delay or problem with gaming and typing. It's on the creamy thocky sound compared to my husband's Mechlands Vibe99. Sturdy and heavy despite being plastic. Not that I have experienced holding keebs with aluminum casing. It stays in its place and doesn't slide off when I play or type so I guess it's enough. I haven't really maximized the knob usage, but maybe it's just because I'm not really used to it. It'd be nice though if the GIF becomes a screensaver. Coz for example, if it is on the volume function, the screen stays like that even if you don't adjust the volume for a while. Space-wise, I would have chosen Mechlands Vibe99 coz despite having a numpad it saves space and works the same. RGB colors are tamed because of the switches. It's not a deal breaker for me but could be for some which could be resolved by replacing with other switches. I hope this helps. I can't think much of the cons except for its size coz it's my first ever mech keeb. https://preview.redd.it/dor8rts291cf1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=5006ea1235716a817d2cb648f2715b849482db7d
r/keyboards • A decent mechanical keyboard? ->Just recieved mine today from whatgeek. 10 days shipping. I live in California
r/keyboards • AULA F108 Does anyone own this yet i cant find much info on it ->I literally just got mine. did a review at [https://youtu.be/WyQ\_rSVBFoY?si=Xm-6ADf3cOP-Cq-g](https://youtu.be/WyQ_rSVBFoY?si=Xm-6ADf3cOP-Cq-g)
r/keyboards • AULA F108 Does anyone own this yet i cant find much info on it ->I can also suggest the Epomaker x aula F108 pro. Full size with an 8000mah battery. I had picked it up for $85. It's a great keyboard to use a wireless mechanical one. I paired it with one of those magnetic release USB c connect cables so I can easily connect and charge the keyboard.
r/keyboards • Best Keyboard You Can Buy in 2025 (Price, Sound, Size) ->Bit late to the party but... I have this keyboard & the Keychron V6 Max on my desk in a bit of a side by side right now. One is likely going back to the store, spoiler it's probably gonna be the Keychron. Both keyboards have very solid build quality, gasket mounted design, 2x adjustable height kickstand. The Keychron is marginally quieter but the kickstands feel super cheap in comparison, like they will break easily, and the entire board has a lot more flex. Both have very similar specs. 3 mode connectivity, 1000hz polling in 2.4ghz, anti-ghosting etc etc... The Keychron is QMK/VIA and has much better software via their launcher for easy customization, that's probably it's biggest strength in comparing the two. The F108 has software, but it's not great. That being said I've been able to customize most of the things that were important to me on the F108 via the function keys. I appreciate a nice keyboard, but I'm not quite as picky about deep customization. Lack of QMK/VIA would be a deal breaker for some. My biggest issue with the Keychron is the god-awful OSA keycap profile they selected for the stock board. Hate them! That and the price. It's simply more expensive while not offering any stand out features for me. So if you're like me, you're much better off buying a barebones V6 Max + Switches + A set of Cherry profile keycaps.... At which point the F108 is now an even better value in comparison. If you're torn between the F108 & the Pro version: With the Pro you get double the battery life (up to 8000mah), reaper switches as opposed to Greywoods, volume knob (Basic F108 still has volume keys), and the screen. The screen isn't ground breaking, but having the battery life indicator, time, & current connectivity mode is a nice visual to me. I personally think the Pro adds enough QOL for the relatively small increase in price. If you have any other specific questions about one board or the other shoot, maybe I can answer them.
r/keyboards • AULA F108 Does anyone own this yet i cant find much info on it ->The Aula F series you're looking at have Tri-mode (2.4ghz/BT/Wired) connectivity. So yes he can connect it wired, also use it wireless if needed. I have the F108 it's a really nice board for the price. Are you certain he wants a 65% size? 75% seems to be the new king of size/format for gaming, since you get your F-row back up top and it doesn't impact mouseing space. Just a thought. Edit. What exactly did you mean by "he likes customizable"? The F75 will be hot swappable meaning you can change key caps, switches, stabs, but... It doesn't have VIA so you don't have the ability to customize what keys do what from a software side as easily. Aula has their own software but it's kinda booty in comparison to VIA.
r/keyboards • Thoughts on EPOMAKER x Aula F65 65% Wireless Mechanical Keyboard ->Hey, I'm in a similar situation. I have a Ducky 75% wired board for gaming but wanted something full size to fill in the work/productivity role. Specifically I wanted truly full size (no mini zero key on the num pad) & wireless so it was easy to set aside when it's game time. After a bunch of research I have the Epomaker x Aula F108 & Keychron V6 Max on my desk in a bit of a side by side. One is likely going back to the store, spoiler it's probably gonna be the Keychron. r/keyboards • Looking for a full sized keyboard. ->You can definitely find a nice board with a budget like that. What limits your choices is 100% layout. For me I also like 100%, full size zero on the number pad is nice for productivity. We must be in the minority. Keychron Q6 Max - would tick all the boxes + way way more features you didn't even ask for from a reputable company. Epomaker x Aula F108 - while it isn't aluminum is also a very nice board if you'd like to save a few bucks. Longevity is the only question mark with this brand as they're fairly new. Reviews are great, I love mine, wish I could hop in a time machine and tell you what is will be like in 5 years though.
r/keyboards • A decent mechanical keyboard? ->I got F108 Pro a few days ago, so far so good, paid 70 bucks for it, it's crazy good for that price tag.
r/keyboards • whats a budget gaming keyboard for 100-130 ->Aula f108/f108 pro There's probably other options but this is the only one I've used in this price range and it is quite good. Avoid buying from epomaker. Buy from somewhere else.
r/keyboards • Full Size Mechanical Keyboard in the 70-100$ price range ->you'll be pleased to know that bluetooth doesn't even work on my keyboard! I wonder if there's a firmware update or idk what happened to it... I can't handle bluetooth latency either, but I might wanna use it on my tablet. but I can'tttt. (I got a different device than the one I tested at the shop, same model but different physical object, the one I tested didn't show up in bluetooth either)
r/keyboards • AULA F108 Does anyone own this yet i cant find much info on it ->I’m finding the f108 not for me either. There’s so many light ribbons. I want something a bit smaller with less RGB.
r/keyboards • Looking for a keyboard? Here's a list of some worthy keyboards. ->I wouldn't worry about coding a keyboard.. more stuff that you do once, say NEAT, then never do/use again. It's a keyboard... how well I type on it is the most important thing and this keyboard/bed/keycaps is wonderful! Especially for the price... don't worry about all the other stuff... you'll never use it!!
r/keyboards • AULA F108 Does anyone own this yet i cant find much info on it ->Aula is much better, you can replace the key switches too
r/keyboards • A decent mechanical keyboard? ->Aula recently released a 108 keyboard. I think Aula has been killing it, very good stock and feel of their boards. You can choose pro or non pro versions, up to you. Keychron is the common recommendation but I’ve been hearing more bad qc from them lately
r/buildapc • Which is the best 100% mechanical keyboard? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
