Yeah the place can be a bit overwhelming, but they have a lot of stuff and pretty often do discounts too. but they have a lot of actual brands available (easier to compare) but its pretty hard to buy a bad keyboard nowadays, just focus on the type of switch used. And what size ofcourse. i use the Nuphy halo 65 he (hall effect switches) and its a amazing keyboard. but it will be on the higher limit of your budget. The Aula F65 pro is a amazing keyboard as well for a lot less money . but ofcourse not a hall effect switch in it
Wanted a mechanical keyboard Saw aula f65 being sold on Allexpress for 30 buck Got it to test to se if I like the layout. Liked it -> muted keyboard YouTubers -> reached my end goal XD The more I looked into the hobby, the more it felt like consumerism for the sake of consumerism...
My top two recommendations for 75% are the Kisnt KN85 from Amazon, if you're looking for the lowest cost. Or the Bridge75 Plus from Divinikey if you're looking for the best quality for $100. If i had to pick one of the Aula keyboards, I'm not sure which one I would. I have the regular F75 and the regular F65,and I like them both. I guess I would avoid anything with a screen since that's just an extra place a keyboard can break.
I made a video of the [Aula F65 ](https://www.reddit.com/r/keyboards/s/IYa7sDwS0S) in case it's useful
To my surprise, last week I was visiting the epomaker page on the f65 classroom, which I currently have and it came to my attention that I had json files, along with a firmware. I tried it on both VIA web and desktop and so far have had no problems using it. As a drawback would be that you can not use the windows executable, which made it more comfortable to configure the keyboard rgb.
Some comp games will ban you for using analog he switches. Make sure your games dont kick you out for using them. The Aula x Epomaker stuff is pretty good
The problem with gaming keyboard is that you are basically paying the gamer tax for a fairly standard keyboard with switches. An example is the Corsair Makr 75 which is priced to $300 for a full build. Meanwhile you can get the AULA x Epomaker for $70 and the quality is way better.
Not sure just know I bought a cheap aula threw some gateron jade pros on it fun keycaps and put it in an aluminum housing and it's a better experience than any wooting I have used and it still cost less than a comparable wooting. If there is any input latency differences or differences in rapid trigger they are so minute that I can't tell.
