Look into Aula F99. I recently got the F99 Pro (96%) for work and I’ve enjoyed my time with it so far. Has most of what you want: full size, Bluetooth, usb c, and regular size keys. I believe it doesn’t have a option for a German layout, but you can use the Aula software to change the keypresses to whatever you need and make macros. Visually, you can switch the Y/Z keycaps and I don’t think it should affect the typing feel. Sound-wise it’s on the thwocky-side.

Commenting to say I am a huge fan of 100% keyboards, but the F99 is blowing my mind in terms of quality for the price. I just got one for $60 on sale and it's SO creamy/good feeling. I've had some issues with the wireless connectivity, but I think that has more to do with my setup/distance from keyboard to PC than the wireless itself (my husband has the same keeb and his is fine). I'd definitely recommend this for someone who wants a keyboard that sounds and feels good out of the box. You can always upgrade it, but for now I'm thoroughly enjoying it completely stock.

F99 pro side backlit variant for 8.5k would be the best bet imo - Has double the battery capacity of the F99 with opaque keycaps worth 7k. Pro also comes with a knob. Alternatively there is a "7 day manufacturing defect warranty only" RK S98 on Genesis pc for 6.4k. Comes with a LCD screen and knob. I got a similar unit from stacksKB for 4.2k a month ago.

I got into mechanical keyboards with an Aula F99 pro. I’ve since “upgraded.” But, I just put new switches and caps back in my Aula to gift to my sister, and I kind of don’t want to give it to her now lol. It sounds and feels so good.

so i grabbed the AULA F99 wireless mech keyboard off amazon a couple weeks back and honestly it surprised me. wasn’t expecting much for the price but the thing feels solid af. keys are smooth right out the box (they say pre-lubed and it actually feels like it lol) and the sound is that nice thocky kinda vibe, not super loud clicky. been swapping between bluetooth and the 2.4 dongle depending on what im doing and both work fine, no lag or anything weird. usb-c is a nice touch too bc my old keyboard was still micro usb (rip). rgb is flashy if you want it but i keep it on a dim wave setting bc i’m not trying to blind myself at night. only nitpick is its a bit chunkier than i thought, so if ur into super low profile boards this ain’t it. but overall feels way better than some “big brand” boards i tried. haven't had it crazy long so we will see

My kid "removed" some keycaps from my Corsair K100 Air, which is when I found out these aren't easy to replace if it's even possible. So I'm in the market for a new keyboard. Requirements: - Wireless - With numpad - Easily repairable (this is standard stuff for like 95% of boards I guess, but since I apparently bought one of the exception, I stil want to mention this) - I like clicky but not too loud, will also be used in the office - Emphasis on reliable BT connection - RGB not needed - Mac compatible - Max around €150 (based in The Netherlands I've been looking around but every time I think I find something, I dig a bit deeper and I find issues with build quality or BT... Looked into Redragon, Royal Kludge, Epomaker, Keychron, and others. Any brands I want to look into that I'm missing? Thanks a lot in advance! Boy is this a rabbit hole haha... EDIT: I looked around a bit more and went for the Aula F99 Pro with the Nimbus V3 switches and the side-printed black keycaps :)

not like aula f99 is bad option for beginner, it doesn't need modding, layout is such that you dont need to change anything, some basic changes are possible with aula software, and you can get it for cheap from ali (I got f99 in my collection for 42$ from AliExpress), and latency is nice (saw someone measured it to be around 2.7ms)

Dreydars • 3 months ago

5ms is for old 125hz boards (but most of them actually had 15ms+ latency), aula f99 is 1000hz polling (though it has some debounce time so i can't reach max latency for 1000hz polling (theoretically 1ms))

I have an Aula F99 Pro, cheap as far as mechanical goes and pretty nice if you like almost full keyboards. Only downside is their switches are not MX

I have this exact board and have only changed keycaps so far but I love it. It handles all my needs and feels great and sounds great to me, mine came with Leobog Graywood switches and they’re not too loud yet have some thock and I game somewhat lightly like 2-3 hours a day and haven’t had any issues with gaming.

just bought the F99 pro from mechland on Amazon. Keyboard works fine and everything is great. I think it's the new product since all the reviews I can find on Tiktok or other sources are within 1-2 months. Main differences are the knob, the missing of some buttons to make room for the knob and the LED lights

The one I bought has letters on top (cuz I’m such a bad typist). And no it doesn’t shine through 😭. Now I got mine, my advice is that if you don’t need to look when typing perhaps get the one with side profile (aka letters printed on the side). It looks better and I feel the sound is creamier too

Hey there! I currently have the f99 pro, but came across the f108 pro on whatgeek too.. I placed the order and used WG10 for 10% off. I’ll reply back once I get it and compare to the f99. I’m so used to a full size, that I’m having a hard time getting used to the smaller right shift and some of the buttons to the left of the num pad.

For anyone in the future wondering: I bought both. There is an F99 Pro with a knob (new version) and the F99 without a knob (old version). They have different switches. The new one sounds more full and thocky (less clicky), but the force required to push down a key is higher which I don't love. The new version is also a bit bigger which I like. Ended up keeping the new version because the sound is better and the knob is super useful. The backspace bar has bad stabilizer rattle which sucks (the old version didnt have this). EDIT: some sellers might have different switches so for reference my old version had LEOBOG Graywood V3 and my new version has LEOBOG Star Vector

if you're going to get the F99, get the one with Whale Sea Axis/SWK Blue Whale switches. there's also the F108 pro, haven't tried it yet so not sure which switch is the thocky.

If you want a budget wireless keyboard you can do something like aula f75 or f99 pro for $60-$70 and get $20 outemu silent peach v3 switches and put those in, that should be quiet enough.

Nice! The peaches you can probably buy on aliexpress for $20. If you prefer a tactile feel instead of linear they also have silent Lemon v3. There's a chance that the default switches that come with the f75/f99 may be quiet enough. I have the F99 pro with nimbus v3 and they're not that loud, you just have to see when it arrives. They also come with greywoods (i think louder than nimbus) or reaper switches as well depending on which one you pick.

To be honest, haven't tried many keyboards this was an impulse buy from a good recommendation from that guy ztt builds 😅 but I can describe it as pretty solid, little flex from lateral twisting, or pressing keys, many foam and silicone layers inside from what I read and saw in a teardown, overall pretty solid, I'd use it for self defense Sry I'm no expert at reviewing keyboards XD

There's a few womier and ajazz ones but they're overpriced. I'd say go for the aula f75/99 bcs I can't find any other good ones. There's definitely better boards on indian vendor sites.

Do you need the knob. I mean it's convenient for quick volume control but idk the pricing and could be over 10k since there is a difference between pricing on meckeys site so I'd say go for the f99

Aula F99. It's a full sized custom keyboard with tri-mode connectivity, feels and sounds miles better than these. And these Razer keyboards are okay but feel awful imo. These Razer/Asus/Logitech keyboards are okay but you pay for the brand. I had Razer, Logitec, Corsair for years, after trying a "custom" keyboard I'm neeever going back. Or you can get a Hall Effect keyboard which are mostly for gamers. Wooting 80HE, Zoom75 HE (Very premium), Monsgeek M1W V3 HE, Keycron Q1 HE. Etc. I have a list on my profile, but haven't updated it recently

My choice is the Alua F99. I advise against popular manufacturers, as they're out of touch and make mediocre keyboards. The "Skeleton" design is poor, it's noisy, and gets clogged with dust. The switches are often non-removable, and the prices are inflated.

I have the f99 pro as well (been using it for about 3 months) and the buttons left of the numpad are hard to get used to. But this is my first mechanical keyboard and I love it especially the thocky sound. Probably going to replace the switches as they are too sensitive for my preference. How’s the 108? might get that for my work keyboard.

I went with the Aula 99, and honestly, I really like it, but I could care less for HE and fully customizable software. But I'm not planning on doing any further mods to it. So idk if you want a good cheap hotswapable keyboard look no further frankly... but if you want something with HE, then take others' advice. I see no benefits for any use case of mine. One gripe I have with it is that you need the RGB lights to see which key it is, and that RGB strip between the keys and the numbpad is not customizable. I'm one of those "old" folk who hates RGB, so eventually, once I don't need to see where certain keys are, I will turn that off. Also, yes, I can fix it by buying another set of keycaps, but again, I'm no longer going to do any further mods to it. It's perfect for me with those silent peaches and compact enough but with a numpad. Couldn't ask for more.

Dang didn't see this notification, not liking the new system. I keep swipping and deleting them, though I'm sure I can change that behavior(I hope) lol anyways alright, it seems like we got the same taste relatively. So yeah, if you're planning on going budget, I say you can't go wrong with Aula. But yeah, the software is atrocious lol but I'm here using the basic configuration. Happy af with the keyboard and probably the only keyboard with numb and silent switches for $100 US. Yeah, I can't complain. Got everybody in the office jealous, lol
