The Epomaker G84 is built pretty well and feels nice to type on, but it can cost a bit. The AULA S75 Pro has some nice features for the price, plus RGB lighting which is cool for gaming. The AU75 is a budget pick, but you might lose out on some build quality... Have you checked out keyboardyeti? they have a comparison chart that could help you figure it all out.
Ended up deciding on an Aula 75 pro since it’s pretty highly recommended and on sale for prime day
I’ve been getting into keyboards with screens on them. Kind of sucks because the one budget board I found that has aluminum body, long horizontal screen, knob, RGB, tri connectivity, has a low frame rate screen. I am talking about the K720 Pro from Redragon. I am comparing it to the Aula S75 Pro which isn’t bad per se, it’s just a plastic board with a vertical screen instead. The Aula screen has faster frame rates though and when you run gifs on them, they look much smoother compared to the Redragon. I really like the Redragon, love how premium it feels, but it just sucks to see the gifs look so stutterly on the screen. I know this isn’t a big deal to some, but in a hobby where subjectivity reigns supreme, I guess I am still on the quest to find the right one.
I like that you can run gifs on them, it’s an aesthetics thing. Again, not for everyone, I know. On the software piece, yeah I wish keyboard software would just evolve already into something where it’s browser based like VIA. It shouldn’t be some sussy .exe that I should think twice about installing. Kind of hard to shop for screen keebs at the moment too because not everyone displays the screen specs. I’ve had to message a few companies to inquire about them. Not everyone has responded.
I have the s75 pro, also love my Aula
Chinese keyboards are deemed budget, but in reality they are just value. For 55-60$ after tax you are able to buy a really nice keyboard off of Aliexpress, like aula f75/s75/hero 84he. If you see comparable western keyboards, they all start at 100-120$. Add tax (25-30%), add shipping (30$) and you are looking at 200$ keyboard which is basically the same, but with "better" drivers. There is scarcely any value in that. Something fancy is 200, 250, 300$ + tax, but hey, they will spare you the shipping ! It is an expensive hobby and small differences in quality cost a lot. Sometimes it's liie audio-voodoo selling audiophile cables.
You won't really feel much of a difference between a regular modern mechanical keeb and an HE keyboard in terms of **latency**. IMO, go for a better overall feel of the keeb, pero siyempre if you just want to try HE/Magnetic, go ahead. Anyway, here are some recommendations. **Pre-Built Aluminum Keyboards under 3k:** **98% Layout** Ajazz AC100 **75% Layout** Weikav D75 Leobog Hi75C Garuda Gear GGAL80 (If there's no pre-built option online, building the whole board should still fit in your budget) ATK VXE V75X (Only the top case is aluminum) **\~65% Layout** Weikav Nut65 Furycube E68 Ajazz ALUX68 (HE Keyboard) **Pre-Built Plastic Keyboards under 3k:** **75% Layout** Akko TAC75 HE (HE Keyboard) Aula F75 Aula S75 Pro (This is basically the same as the Aula F75 but with a screen) Leobog A80RT (HE Keyboard) **\~65% Layout** Akko x Monsgeek Fun68 HE (HE Keyboard) Madlions MAD 60HE or 68HE (HE Keyboard)
Of course. Why pay for $300 while you can pay around $50-120 with same quality or better. My keychron expensive from plastic....and my ajazz from aluminium ( much cheaper and premium feel ). I got aula f75 and new S75 pro. They all so good compared to expensive " branded " product.
Just bought the RK C68 (magnetic 60€) and it feels smoother than my other keebs while gaming. [RK C68](https://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d/B0FPM6NCJ1/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_2?smid=A7207XU86IMSS&psc=1) But Aula75 is very good for it‘s price! Only my Rainy75 beats it, but at the cost of 160€.
Sorry, my Aula75 runs perfectly.
I really enjoy the evo75 or evo80 keyboards around 170, both are fully pre built and good options with choices of different colors to match your setup. Womier sk75 or something like aula75 are good cheaper pre built options. You also should mention what key layout you'd want since I saw 75 to full sized on your list.
Color , to ur personal preference...i always wanted to get a rainy75 couldnt buy it due to budget...i got aula 75 white contour instead [7.5k]...check the youtube reviews if u dont like it.. lmk or find to ur taste
