"it also has three bluetooth assignments in addition to the wifi dongle, so i have the dongle connected to my main computer and then can switch over to one of the bluetooth when i use my work computer hooked up to my monitors, so no swapping keyboards."
"Now I have all 3 on one wireless USB dongle that I swap between my work laptop and personal desktop. ... In the past I had to use a USB switch but I didn't like having so many wires on my desk."

"not too clacky ... has a mix of laptop keyboard feel while being very satisfying and responsive ... made my old mechanical keyboard feel overexaggerated almost, as if i was pushing each key more than necessary in comparison."
"only thing is i like tactile switches that is the only struggle but its no problem with the opx linear ones."

"The macros are fairly easy to use, but, for some reason the macro keynrecord doesn't want to read key typing. I get around this easily with the direct add inputs options. ... I've actually been surprised with how well the macro buttons are working. The record key function doesn't, but after inputing the via command, it's been perfect. ... Here is the key macro framing I use to do in-game crafting while I'm not at home."
"If you need dedicated macro KB keys, then the K100 is about the only choice."

I had this and it was awesome until my dogs tail spilled beer all over it and it stopped working. Back to the G915 for now, still happy with this KB but I think I liked the K100 air slightly better
r/buildapcsales • [Keyboard] K100 AIR WIRELESS RGB Ultra Thin Mechanical Keyboard CHERRY MX Ultra Low Profile Tactile (Revival Series) - $99.99 ($279-$180) ->I loved this keyboard without a doubt. I thought I was upgrading by going to the k100 air wireless. (I absolutely was not, that thing is BADLY made) now I’m enjoying the 70 pro TKL It’s definitely gotta be the best full size keyboard I’ve had so far. I hope you enjoy it!
r/Corsair • just bought this corsair keyboard ->My kid "removed" some keycaps from my Corsair K100 Air, which is when I found out these aren't easy to replace if it's even possible. So I'm in the market for a new keyboard. Requirements: - Wireless - With numpad - Easily repairable (this is standard stuff for like 95% of boards I guess, but since I apparently bought one of the exception, I stil want to mention this) - I like clicky but not too loud, will also be used in the office - Emphasis on reliable BT connection - RGB not needed - Mac compatible - Max around €150 (based in The Netherlands I've been looking around but every time I think I find something, I dig a bit deeper and I find issues with build quality or BT... Looked into Redragon, Royal Kludge, Epomaker, Keychron, and others. Any brands I want to look into that I'm missing? Thanks a lot in advance! Boy is this a rabbit hole haha... EDIT: I looked around a bit more and went for the Aula F99 Pro with the Nimbus V3 switches and the side-printed black keycaps :)
r/MechanicalKeyboards • /r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer - October 02, 2025 ->I've had mine for about a year now and have no complaints. It convinced me to get the M75 mouse and the virtuoso XT headset/mic too. Now I have all 3 on one wireless USB dongle that I swap between my work laptop and personal desktop. In the past I had to use a USB switch but I didn't like having so many wires on my desk.
r/buildapcsales • [Keyboard] K100 AIR WIRELESS RGB Ultra Thin Mechanical Keyboard CHERRY MX Ultra Low Profile Tactile (Revival Series) - $99.99 ($279-$180) ->Purchased this around 9 months ago I believe and have been using it daily. The only complaint I have is that some of the keys have become a little squeaky over time, which apparently is a fairly common issue. There are some methods to add lubricant, however it's a little tricky since the key caps really shouldn't be removed
r/buildapcsales • [Keyboard] K100 AIR WIRELESS RGB Ultra Thin Mechanical Keyboard CHERRY MX Ultra Low Profile Tactile (Revival Series) - $99.99 ($279-$180) ->have had mine for over a year and i love it. coming from the old deathstalker with chiclet keys, i tried the g pro, huntsman v3, even the mx keys and some more “enthusiast” mechanical offerings but i needed the numpad (if anyone tells you you’re not going to miss it just disregard anything else they say from now on) and i ended up wanting this low profile type of keyboard but no one really had one that was a little more premium. it really ticked all the niche boxes i wanted in a keyboard. also when i ordered it i think it was on back order and corsair emailed me saying that they don’t have any in stock and i can wait or cancel. i told them im fine to wait and that i didn’t really need it all too quick, and a brand new one showed up at my door less than a week later
r/buildapcsales • [Keyboard] K100 AIR WIRELESS RGB Ultra Thin Mechanical Keyboard CHERRY MX Ultra Low Profile Tactile (Revival Series) - $99.99 ($279-$180) ->oh! this again. typing on this now, got the revival for the same price. full disclosure, mine came with one key sticking and i immediately popped it off to clean it out underneath and learned that corsair does not recommend you remove the caps because they're a real bitch to get back on, they want you to send the thing in to get worked on. found a youtube video some random guy teaching you how to do it and thank god im a guitarist lmao. https://youtu.be/3gvJT75ipKM?si=bmhHyPKriofCiLwf just in case you need to do the same, it takes time but it's doable with the right tools. it also solved the sticking key issue since i could clean it out just fine. highly recommend this keyboard, it's perfect in my opinion for my use case, not too clacky and has a mix of laptop keyboard feel while being very satisfying and responsive. made my old mechanical keyboard feel overexaggerated almost, as if i was pushing each key more than necessary in comparison. it also has three bluetooth assignments in addition to the wifi dongle, so i have the dongle connected to my main computer and then can switch over to one of the bluetooth when i use my work computer hooked up to my monitors, so no swapping keyboards. really clean, i think it's worth the $100 i paid as long as i get another two years out of it at least and it's held up for a year now really well so i'm hoping that it will keep doing so.

Everything was up to date and then eventually a few days later it sorted itself out?! Idk I’m not sure if that’s going to be the case for you but definitely the keyboards are finicky
r/Corsair • just bought this corsair keyboard ->mine's been great other than the volume rocker being wonky. after the warranty expired when you raise or lower the volume it goes all over the place.
r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->If it's wasn't for icue crapping itself I'd say the k100 is the best (loose control of the gkeys in the stream deck app) I used to have the k60 rgb pro but every 4 - 6 months I'd have to replace it as a key stem would snap. After about keyboard replacement 5 dying I swapped to the k100 and it's been the best for the last few years, no issues. Comes with the perk of being soo loud it pisses my mum off
r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->I have been struggling keeping my old Razor Blackwidow, and it finally died. I decided a long time ago that my next keyboard was going to be a Corsair. So I went with another mechanical keyboard with programmable buttons on the side and a full number pad. I have no regrets what so ever! A significant improvement all around. The keys are precise and almost too responsive. It feels good to use. The macros are fairly easy to use, but, for some reason the macro keynrecord doesn't want to read key typing. I get around this easily with the direct add inputs options. Anyone know why this is? That aside, 9/10 with a point off for the usual unfriendly iCue use and maybe a glitch, as noted.

r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->I got the Corsair K100 and had a Razer Blackwidow Chroma before, the K100 is so good for being $80 I think I got it for.

I also have the nexus but i cant recommend it, dont but it.
r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->www.rtings.com I personally got the Corsair K100 keyboard and it's awesome.
r/buildapc • Bought a Redragon keyboard, starting to regret my decision. Suggestions on new keyboard? ->It's not low profile. It's a 110% keyboard, with am armrest.

r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->i can't disagree with this at all, i have been using 5 logitech keyboard in the past 10 years, all of them broke just like several months after 2 years, which put me out of warranty. All the double clicking issue persist from the G413 all the way to G910 and even G815. Now i'm using K100 as well, just that my issue is that it's very sensitive and can easily triggered. so i modified some of the switches with 65gr springs
r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->Never get an off the shelf Keyboard if you care about keyboards at all. You need to understand why off the shelf keyboards are not worth it compared to custom keyboards. How I got into custom keyboards was because my friend was showing me his Glorious GMMK Pro. Compared to my Corsair K100, it was night and day. The moment I touched my friend's keyboard I was in awe of how silent it was and smooth the feel was. I paid $300aud for my Corsair and I fully regret it. All the components are really made from cheap materials and materials that make the experience of the keyboard worse. Especially when they advertise "military grade metal". Metal actually makes a pinging sound as if you're tapping on a bare piece of sheet metal. You also can't change the switches and Cherry MX switches are notorious for being the worst sounding and feeling switches in the market. If you want a cheap and easy entry into custom keyboards, "Keychron Q1 Max" is always in stock and you can change the switches. If you want and idea of why non-custom keyboards are bad, take Cherry MX for example. The stem is rattly, the plastics rub against each other and no modding (adding lube) will make those problems go away. If you want to jump straight into the deep end read below. 65% is the most popular size rn. \- Bauer Lite is the budget king and Space65 is the high end king. Most enthusiasts consider Space65 an endgame keyboard.
r/keyboards • Recommendations for 65-80% gaming keyboard ->I preferred the larger brother to this k90 or 100 but Corsair keyboards are pretty robust
r/Corsair • just bought this corsair keyboard ->Love my k100 very sensitive like others have said though. Which is a blessing and a curse in and of itself. That and the edges can be… sharp lol
r/Corsair • just bought this corsair keyboard ->It's got some pros and cons but one major flaw: Only available with speed switches which are god awful. Waiting for the refresh coming soon that has the programmable actuation point switches like on the new k70s
r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->Aka both speed switches, all awful
r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->I have and love the k100 I've had it a lil over a year and its been an amazing addition
r/Corsair • Keyboards ->Had a few of the LED's go on mine, otherwise great
r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->Ive had the k100 rgb since launch and its getting stale now. I think its time to upgrade but i probably cant even get $100 for this thing lol
r/Corsair • Keyboards ->>I would want something WITH ten key, macro keys, and volume control as well. As far as a mouse goes, I would want a couple extra buttons on the side, but nothing crazy like some MMO mice I've seen If you need dedicated macro KB keys, then the K100 is about the only choice. K95 Platinum XT models are getting scarce and you may prefer the standard bottom row and spacing on the K100. However, be aware any KB key can be assigned as a macro key, so all those Scroll Lock, Pause, num pad and right sided keys can be made to do the job with a click. That makes the K70 models like the MAX an additional choice. The Darkstar has the nice amount of useful side buttons that can be activated without requiring extreme finger precision. It also has tilt command options, so left, right, front, rear mouse tilts also can become macro triggers or other commands. The M65 Elite and Night*sabre* also have tilt commands that effectively become another set of side buttons.
