I was the same way. Was not a fan of full height mechanical keyboards. Used a Havit low profile keyboard for a few years and then finally switched to this a year ago. Its a great keyboard. Recently have been experiencing some double typing, but I installed a keyboard chatter blocker and I am back in business.
Had one a while ago and my dog spilled my drink on it and couldn’t get it working properly again. Miss it still
I loved this keyboard without a doubt. I thought I was upgrading by going to the k100 air wireless. (I absolutely was not, that thing is BADLY made) now I’m enjoying the 70 pro TKL It’s definitely gotta be the best full size keyboard I’ve had so far. I hope you enjoy it!
My kid "removed" some keycaps from my Corsair K100 Air, which is when I found out these aren't easy to replace if it's even possible. So I'm in the market for a new keyboard. Requirements: - Wireless - With numpad - Easily repairable (this is standard stuff for like 95% of boards I guess, but since I apparently bought one of the exception, I stil want to mention this) - I like clicky but not too loud, will also be used in the office - Emphasis on reliable BT connection - RGB not needed - Mac compatible - Max around €150 (based in The Netherlands I've been looking around but every time I think I find something, I dig a bit deeper and I find issues with build quality or BT... Looked into Redragon, Royal Kludge, Epomaker, Keychron, and others. Any brands I want to look into that I'm missing? Thanks a lot in advance! Boy is this a rabbit hole haha... EDIT: I looked around a bit more and went for the Aula F99 Pro with the Nimbus V3 switches and the side-printed black keycaps :)
So you have tried these exact Cherry Ultra low profile switches and find them to be scratchy? I see multiple people suggesting other brands that don't even offer keyboards with these switches. I have the Cherry ULP 2.0 mini. The ULP switches are not remotely close to "low profile" switches on for example the Lofree.
I just got one of these when BB had them at $130 a week or two ago. I've been on an MX Keys at work for 2 years so this was an interesting change from my K95 Platinum at home.
I have this keyboard and I love it. I have always preferred thin style like Macbooks or the standalone Apple keyboards, this is like an improved version of those IMO.
I'm selling k100 wired for 12k and k100 air with bluetooth for 14k. k100 is supposed to last for 150 million keystrokes and k100 air for 50 million, and they have metal body and very sturdy so they would last very long. k100 retails for around 200-250 usd, and k100 air for around 250-330 usd. https://preview.redd.it/5e4mzbh5gdwg1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=df9fc8ac3a83e61f83884fecd79fab36302b8fcf
