Optical mini keyboard - [K65 PRO MINI RGB 65% Optical-Mechanical Gaming Keyboard (Revival Series)](https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/revival-series/ch-91a401a-na-rv/k65-pro-mini-rgb-65-optical-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-revival-series-ch-91a401a-na-rv) I use this and it's FAST. It takes some time to get used to but is very satisfying to use when adjusted.
The switches are like 10% compression for keystroke, so it's very sensetive but you get very fast inputs as well. It can run up to 8000mhz polling and the switches are optical and use a light sensor and not a mechanical input. The rgb is very nice too with basically any combo you can imagine. I also use it's macro function, so I don't have to retype passwords and such.
I think I did. But moved to a k65 mini. Corsairs pretty good.
i’ve always been corsair, started with a k95 platinum with mx brown switches(eventually some LEDs dimmed and i sold it), then for some reason i got a k65 mini, wasnt able to play some games with that, but then i ventured into rog, i loved scope 2 and azoth, but i missed corsair, went back to k70 pro tkl (perfect size) and i loved it (icue customization per app and lighting layers do it for me) and now the vanguard 96 pro (pretty much the same size as the k70 pro tkl but with a num pad) is like the scope ii BUT with azoth quality, the sound and feel is amazing, im just waiting for icue compatibility, no issues with the corsair web hub but it’s not as good as icue the vanguard 96 pro is exactly what i wanted in a keyboard, i remember begging for them to make something similar to the azoth/scope2 and it finally happened
I am using the Corsair K65 plus a Razer Atheris. I like the form factor of the K65 and two side utility buttons on the Atheris are all I need.
I tried it, but every single one I bought had a ticking spacebar. If you don't know what that is, then I would avoid googling it.
It’s like the k65 not using slipstream…why invest in something to just ditch it
I'm also on a full corsair ecosystem except for monitor. Couldn't find a good price on an OLED so had to go elsewhere. Of all the mice I tested I prefer the nightsword. I have somewhat big hands and prefer a comfortable palm grip. The dark core is a good wireless alternative but I do prefer the softer textured grip of the nightsword over the more plasticky dark core. I have a newer k65 and an older full-size keyboard of theirs, unfortunately don't highly recommend either. The k65 is great with the brown switches I just don't like the 65% layout. I plan to get a k100 air some day.
You can always get lucky, plus the K65's foam dampening and extra protection due to the swappable switches no doubt helps.
