"about two years in the LEDs will randomly start to die (for example: the blue led on one switch will die out). Every K70 I've had has followed this pattern like clockwork."
"Had a couple RGB LED's go out ... Eventually the RGB Led problem got soo bad"
Well as you've purchased it it's a bit late but yes it's a good keyboard. I have the K70 MK2 I think and is fine.
r/Corsair • just bought this corsair keyboard ->I suffer from FFS (fat finger syndrome). I love the sound and feel of mechanical keyboards but still have not been able to find one that I truly can use on a daily basis without accidentally actuating the switches. My current daily driver is the Logitech G 185 clicky which seems to perform well. But really want to go with a more traditional mechanical keyboard. I also currently own a Corsair k70 RGB K2 with gray switches but had the same issue of accidental actuation in addition to my keychron K4c1 with red switches. Both the Corsair and the key chron were picked up off of Facebook marketplace not purchased new so I'm not a keyboard snob I'm just looking for something that I can use enjoyably any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated.
r/MechanicalKeyboards • /r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer - September 18, 2025 ->I think you can't go wrong with Keychron. At the moment, I have the Q1 Pro and the K8 Pro. I also have a NovelKeys NK65, GMMK Pro and a Corsair K70 MK2 (my Frankenstein keyboard). Out of all of them, I like the Q1 best (has Gateron Oil King switches). If you want to mod your Q6 Max in the future, the Oil Kings are the best switch I have tried so far. But the downside is, that you won't see your RGB lighting anymore. I really want to give the Q6 max a try because I kind of need that Numbpad. But I think I will bring my K70 to its final form before buying a new one.
r/keyboards • Best Full Size (Gaming) Keyboard 2025? ->I like the Corsair K70 MK2. Been serving me well for years.
r/GirlGamers • I need a new keyboard help pls ->I love my Corsair K70 RGB Pro, but I have Cherry Mx Blues. its so nice but the price point is kinda a turnoff to me. Would really like Corsair to re-release the keyboard with hotswap sockets, cherry MX2, and better adhesive/ larger rubber pads for the armrest (like the size the keyboard uses). All while keeping the same price. I also had an OG Tramp stamp Corsair K70 RGB with MX Browns that I loved literally to death. Had a couple RGB LED's go out, had the spacebar switch die. Fixed the switch. Eventually the RGB Led problem got soo bad that I attempted to explore what happened. In the end without actually finding the problem with the RGB a ribbon cable died. lived 9 years.
r/Corsair • just bought this corsair keyboard ->still rocking an old corsair k70 and it's been perfect, it even predates the RGB models and still going strong. just checked i got it in 2014 and it's still running perfectly despite one or two beer / chocolate milk incidents
r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS • mechanical gaming keyboard ->Ive been using the same corsair vengeance k70 from 2013 all this time. It still works like new, no idea if they still sell it but the k70 line is still fine enough I hear. I would say grab a refurbished one because that's just a good deal. For a mouse I just use the Scimitar because it's useful for FF14 and certain actions in applications.
r/Corsair • Best Corsair Gaming Keyboard and Mouse? ->What's the general opinion on corsair refurbs? the K100 @ $100 doesn't seem too bad at first glance. My K70 from 2017 (2016 model) works fine but a few LED's have gone weird. Might be a good upgrade?
r/buildapcsales • [KEYBOARD] Corsair K55 RGB PRO Gaming Keyboard (Revival Series) $19.99 -save $40, 90-Day Warranty, Shipping not free below $79-cart ->That one has game specific presets, right? I used a Corsair at the demo booth for Deep Rock Galactic, and throwing a flare caused a flare of white light from around that key. Looked so cool.
r/GirlGamers • What's the best gaming keyboard widely preferred by Gamers right now? ->They also had a massive keyboard display, where they had synced them up to display moving images across like, 16 of them. I bet there's somewhere to get presets.
r/GirlGamers • What's the best gaming keyboard widely preferred by Gamers right now? ->:/ No gasket, no foam, no VIA, *no hot swap*. Hard pass.
r/keyboards • What's everyone's thoughts on the Corsair K70 ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
