This is such a meh keyboard, literally returned it back to Best Buy. Not too impressed by it, now the new Corsair 96 model is amazing to use in comparison.
The chatter on my k70 pro mk2 (5 of them due to replacements) sent me to razer. Loved the black widow pro v3 until... it broke. Cheaply made.
Now I have had a steelseries apex pro Hall effect for two years... and no trouble at all with it.
ngl i went down this rabbit hole a while back and the [Corsair K70 RGB Pro](https://featherab.com/shopit?market=am&search_keywords=Corsair+K70+RGB+Pro) is still one of the brightest i've seen - those cherry speed switches let the light shine through really well. the [Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro](https://featherab.com/shopit?market=am&search_keywords=Razer+BlackWidow+V4+Pro) is another contender with those super bright razer chroma leds. both get almost uncomfortably bright at max settings honestly.
still rocking an old corsair k70 and it's been perfect, it even predates the RGB models and still going strong.
just checked i got it in 2014 and it's still running perfectly despite one or two beer / chocolate milk incidents
