I've been hunting through subreddits for gaming keyboard recommendations for a few days now and I'm not finding ones that match my needs. Everyone seems to be obsessed with miniature and minimalist keyboards, but I absolutely hate those. I need a full size keyboard with a full number pad and preferably some macro keys. I've had a Corsair K95 with MX Brown switches for around 10 years, I love it but it's starting to break down on me and I really want something more modern. The K100 is too expensive.. I've seen Keychron recommended a lot but I personally find them to be really ugly. I see Reddragon a lot too, but some of their other products I've used felt cheaply built in the past. I'm currently eyeing the Wooting Two HE, it's at the top of my budget but I like how it looks and it has the keypad. I'm willing to sacrifice the macro keys but I'm worried that the (seemingly) insanely impressive performance might be counterintuitive for me. I'm a gamer who works from home so I'm on my computer 10-16 hours a day, but I don't play competitive games at all. Does the performance of Wooting keyboards end up being too quirky for users who don't game competitively, and if so, is there a better option out there for someone like me?

So I bought the Wooting Two HE, and I'm instantly feeling like I don't like it. The keys are really heavy and mushy, and not tactile at all. It could be something that I'll get used to over time but the heaviness of the keys worries me. They take significantly more force to press than my Corsair keyboard and I already suffer from finger strain especially in my pinky fingers. I'll give it a week or two to see if it grows on me but the lack of tactile-ness is giving me the bad brain feelings. Also the wrist rest accessory not only functionally useless it's uncomfortable too.

Same. Just replaced the worn keys, but works great still.

300$ for a high end keyboard is not that much as you think. I've had 95 plat and now k100 optix and not a single issue. 2021.09.16 (MM/DD) and still going strong. Switched the keycaps to pudding ones for more rgb.

Try the Corsair K95 RGB Platinum It has customizable backlighting, a full-sized layout, and nice media controls with a volume wheel. Another one to check out is the Logitech G Pro X. It's good for gaming and typing. Both feel high-end and should work for you. you could also check keyboardyeti for more comparisons and details.
