I have been using Magcore 65 lite since November. I am going to share my experience of this keeb in this post. **About:** It is a high performance keyboard that utilizes inductive switches. Its like Hall Effect but BETTER because it is immune to magnetic interference and very low power consumption due to passive sensing. Inductive Keyboard are the new top dog for professional gaming. **Build & Looks** \- **Chassis:** Magcore 65 lite is a compact keyboard. Its heavy despite its small size (Around 750G). It feels sturdy enough to use as a weapon if needed XD. It has a solid build quality despite using ABS plastic. \- **Layout:** It’s a 65% layout, so the F-keys are missing—meaning no ALT+F4 for quick rage-quitting 🤣. Honestly, I didn't miss the extra keys and it actually helped keep me from quitting games in the heat of the moment! You also get a dedicated knob for volume which is a huge plus. \- **Typing Feel**: This keyboard has clacky sound. Typing on this is excellent right out of the box-it sounds good despite being a gaming keyboard. Magcore65 Lite is hot-swappable but it is not compatible with mechanical or magnetic switches so watch out for that. **Gaming experience** I mostly used this keyboard for playing valo. I have zero complaints in gaming. It has a 8k polling rate in wired mode which I honestly think is overkill. **Connectivity & Battery** Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, USB all work well. I generally use it in 2.4ghz mode. You can use Bluetooth mode to connect it to your device but polling rate will be limited to 125hz. The polling rate for 2.4ghz mode is 1k. You must stay in wired mode for 8k polling rate. It has 2\*2000 mah battery inside making total 4000mah. The battery lasts about a week with rgb around medium-low level of brightness. Note: Don’t use a phone charger; it could damage the PCB. Charge it with the included cable via your computer or laptop and yes it’s fine to use while charging. **RGB & Software** \- **Lights**: It comes with per-key rgb lights. RGB is bright with lots of modes . It comes with South-facing LEDs but the legends on keycaps are not transparent so it can be a bit of issue for users using it at night time who cant touch type. Legends are somewhat visible at night time thanks to the rgb lights. \- **Software:** It uses web-based drivers. They take a few seconds to load, but they support advanced features like SOCD (crucial for Valorant counter-strafing), DKS, and MT. **Verdict:** 9.4/10 This keeb is mone-worth for gamers. Go for it if you need a keyboard for gaming. If you have any questions regarding this keyboard feel free to ask!
epomaker65 is reasonably priced and i like it a lot. Its only 65% though
MageGee is a budget brand on Amazon. I just saw a cute pastel-y 104 for $20. I have one from them, one from epomaker, and another from redragon. All affordable brands. I've never tried anything over like $60 so I don't have anything else to compare to but they've all been good to me. Only issue is with redragon's logo being a lil... Out of place for the rest of my stuff. That's the one I use at work though so idc too much I use 75% at home but bought a 100% for work because I didn't like the membrane keyboard they provided.
