1800 (96%) keyboard with knob and very gimmicky screen: [Epomaker RT100 with Silent Sea Salt switches](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZNQQ93W/ref=twister_B081F3L47L?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) Now people hate Epomaker, and it's warranted as their customer service seems to be crap - at least for the West. I myself have been a consistent customer with only good things to say... but RT100. oh boy. People who buy RT100 seems to be playing a gacha. So even I, a loyal Epomaker customer, am telling you to buy this at your own risk, I linked you the Amazon one, cause maybe Amazon CS would fair better and it's 30 USD off compared to their website. This IS a "full" keyboard with built in silent switches.

https://epomaker.com/products/epomaker-rt100?srsltid=AfmBOoq-ukdBKM-bMWW_BLWH8v0UoFUsLmojUO-VCVWVbRbbsb5RmBzP I got this keyboard with the silent switches and it's been fantastic. Really quiet, keys feel good to press.

Appreciate the help! My knowledge on keyboards still isn't that great. I did a shit ton of research when I bought my Redragon K582, and it has served me well for the past 2 years. I upgraded the garbage Outemu Reds to some Akko Jelly Blacks around 1½ years ago, but I've been a bit tired of it for a while so I decided to look for something more premium. I've wanted to try tactiles, but just haven't been able to get any. The Epomaker RT100 has caught my eye and I loved it ever since I saw it. I don't know why, but I've always gone back to it. I said "fuck it" and placed an order for it with Gateron Yellows. My second option was the Epomaker x Feker Galaxy 80, but I still wasn't sold on a 75%. A big problem with me is that I need to make sure I'm making the best purchase possible. This leads to an endless cycle if overthinking which ends up in me wanting to smash my head on the wall. Every single thing I've bought, from my laptop to my keyboard, headphones, mouse, controller and obviously keyboard has been like that. I think there have been two major purchases where I knew what I wanted. That was the S23 Ultra when it launched, and the Sony WF XM4s. Every other tech product purchase is preceded by decision fatigue, which is why I decided to pull the trigger. I'm hoping it's a good purchase. Reviews seem decent enough, and honestly, I'm not insane about keyboards to the extent that I can hear minute differences in key presses made by changing the angle of ones chair or something stupid. I should get my board tomorrow (well today, it's 12am), and I'm super excited! This is where I wanted tactiles, but the RT100 is only available with linears on Amazon. I needed my purchase to be made on Amazon as that's the only customer service department I trust. One thing that pissed me off is the sheer volume of keyboards on the market. There's just so fucking many. It's so difficult to tell the difference! I wished reviewers made direct comparisons. "This keyboard is great but x keyboard at the same price is better" something like that. I liked the HE switches. I did look at the Wooting, but I'm just not that serious of a gamer, not am I that good haha. I needed heavy switches bc I'm shit at typing and have tons of mispresses. Apologies for the unstructured rant of a post haha!

[Epomaker RT100](https://epomaker.com/products/epomaker-rt100?variant=44452885758260), for some reason they decided to put silent switches only in the "Retro White" one. If building your own is something you wanna try you could buy a barebones kit, silent switches (popular budget options are the Outemu lineup of slient switches, Epomaker sea salt silents, Akko penguin and probably more I don't know about) and keycaps you like.
