I have a Wooting 80HE and a bunch of Epomaker boards that cost about half as much. Every last one of the Epomaker boards sounds and feels better to type on, even the $80 TH40, which is a tiny plastic board. Unless you're already very competent at shooters or something like Osu, or you're trying to do controller emulation, I'd just get a normal mech board with low actuation point switches. I'd also look at Wooting alternatives, tbh. Like the Iqunix EZ63 or the NuPhy Air HE boards. They often sound a lot better than the wooting and have very similar feature sets. I will say, though, Wooting has a very good reputation for software support, and the 4 year warranty on Wooting boards is next-level. It all depends on what you want.
