Thanks man! I looked at the prices again and saw that in total I’m paying almost 100$ more for the Wooting, so I think I’m choosing the Iqunix ez63. I should be fine with a 60%, and i heard it’s still a really good keyboard that has everything my gaming self needs Quick question, i currently have a tkl. With a 60%, is the distance between the wasd keys to the shift and control keys significantly smaller or barely noticable? Cuz i have slightly larger hands

I used to be all-in on 65% but the truth is I just needed arrow keys and never used the nav cluster on the right. I’ve started to investigate 63 and 64 key boards lately where you get the arrows but lose the nav buttons. I think this might be an even better format for me as I am a minimalist, though you have to make a hard decision about how you integrate the / ? Key usually. The ez63 you posted fits that type while the others are a true 65 and a true 60. Epomaker has the EP64 which is shockingly thocky with hard tactiles switched in. The BM60 pcb comes in a 64 key version and can be put into lots of 60% cases. GK64-based kits have a more specific case requirement but if you see one you like it’s good. This gets into a bit more of a DIY area, but that’s what I know.

If it were me, I'd probably go with a Wooting 80HE with a zinc case or the EZ63. I have a PCR 80HE, and with Gateron Jade Pro switches, it sounds pretty great. But I don't think that plastic case is worth $200+. I'd rather spend more and get a more solid case. If you desperately need a 60% size board, get the Iqunix. The EZ63 is an excellent keyboard. Also have one of those. It sounds absolutely excellent with Gateron Jade (closed bottom kind) switches. Mine has the Jade Pros, but the Jade Gaming would sound similar. That said, a decent mech board is going to sound and feel way better than any of these, and you'll only really benefit from the HE features if you're already a very good gamer.

I mean, in FPS games that still allow it, SOCD is a pretty solid advantage, apparently. There are other features, like DKS that allows you to input like four different keys with one keystroke, or analog mode for games that support dual input. But those can take getting used to. I wouldn't say you're gonna need to train to get used to any of it, but it'll feel a bit wonky for a while, as with any change. As for actuation point, I actually find it quite easy to get used to shorter actuation points — until a point. As soon as I drop below like 1.2 mm, I start making hella errors in my typing. Honestly, you might just be better off getting a keyboard that feels really nice to use and calling it a day. I have four HE keyboards available to me (Wooting 80HE, Keychron K4 HE, Iqunix EZ63, Epomaker HE75 Mag), and I still mostly game and type on my mechanical keyboards. They sound better to me, so they're less distracting, and that motivates me to use them.

EZ80, even if only for the gasket mount. The EZ63 is equally pretty damn good, even if it doesn't have the stupid high scan rates of the EV63.
