I ended up going with a Keychron K6 after a long search, and it's been a solid choice for me. The tactile feel is just right, and I appreciate that I can use it both wired and wirelessly without any lag. It feels robust and has held up well during heavy typing sessions, making it a worthwhile upgrade from my old keyboard.

G502 X wins for big hands-I’ve ruined enough keyboards to vouch for HyperX Alloy. Solid picks, but swapping in Keychron K6 could give extra edge. Gaming marathon approved.

Check out the Keychron K6 or K8 for your first keyboard. They’re in your price range and you can swap out the switches, plus they look good. The K8 has wired and Bluetooth options, which is handy for switching devices. the Monsgeek M1 is also worth a peek; it’s got some cool customization and a simple design. You might find some good comparisons and reviews on keyboardyeti to help you pick...

For under $100, check out the Keychron K6 or the Corsair K55... They're good for gaming and typing, and they feel alright to use. The yunzii B75 Pro Max isn't bad, but you should look up some reviews on how tough it is. Keyboardyeti has some comparisons that might help you figure out what works for you.

I’m looking to upgrade from a Ducky One 2 Mini Mecha which I have used for \~5 years. I realized I don’t really like the 60% layout. I’m looking for a 70–75% keyboard, my max budget $150 but if I could get it under 120 or even 100 it would be better, I mainly use it for gaming + coding and I prefer linear/red switches (I tried a few brown, and they are alright, hate clicky blues) and will mostly use it wired. I was considering: * Epomaker Galaxy70: but I’ve seen really negative opinions about Epomaker. * Keychron K2 HE**:** It seems promising, but I’m not sure how it feels for typing day-to-day since it's focused on gaming. I will say that I tried the Keychron K6 and did not really love it. If anyone uses the K2 HE, how’s the regular typing feel? Also open to other 70–75% recommendations in this price range. TIA

Keychron K6 (60% size, decent build quality, and a nice volume knob — definitely a fan favorite) Redragon K530 Draconic (a 60% keyboard with decent switches, highly rated for the price range) Motospeed CK61 (another 60% with solid performance at a very budget-friendly price) These will be close to your budget with the discounts running on Ali. Plus, you can stack some AliExpress promo codes like these: $2 off $10: RDLFL2 $5 off $25: RDLFL5 $7 off $35: RDLFL7 $10 off $50: RDLFL10 $14 off $70: RDLFL14 These can help lower the cost further. Definitely check for those deals when you add items to the cart.

What’s your issue? I have a Keychron K6 Pro and I use it on Linux with no issues at all.
