"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"
"Like 500$ these robots are currently the steal of the century ... You can get a mova p10 pro ultra (cannot remove its mops), equivalent to the l40/x40 for 500$ after a discount code"
"I got the Q5 Pro for $139. ... costs $450 less than what I paid for the S6 ... it is the best value option out there imo."

"It's also absolutely unbreakable ... I have it since 3 years, done ton of afters, street parties, beach parties, etc, with it. Saltwater, beers, dust, sand, falling on the ground, etc, nothing broke or deteriorated it the slightest, and I am a pro for breaking anything technological."
"will last you forever as they are absolute tanks"
"amazed how the quality resembles logitech g pro 1"

"The software is the best I've used for any PC accessory with tons of different settings you can tweak and it doesn't hog resources or have weird conflicts with other software as it's browser based."
"you can make it very quick ... set any actuation point you want"
"the low latency, customizable actuation settings when adjusted to your preferences, and rapid trigger, all these make movement in any game, whether it be complex movement tech or simple strafing, even typing can feel snappier, cleaner, and faster IMO."

"Ladtcthing is rapid trigger. ... Rapid trigger is unique to this lineup."
"So far the only "real gamer" keyboard to date to be considered is the recent HE variants due to its rapid trigger feature ... more specifically targetted towards fps players that are willing to tinker each and every key press on how they want it to respond. ... Most HE variants offers all keys to be modified if desired since the very switches themselves have the HE features, so some would only changed the main WASD and others would utitlized tinkering the whole keys ... this is mostly catered towards fps players that have the intent on tinkering."
"HE features are super useful in games ... They're generally better for gaming because of customisation and stuff like analogue input and rapid trigger."

"I have a BenqTK700sti right now, about to get the new TK710 for the laser light source and I freaking love it!!! Don’t let people talk you out of it. If you get a good gaming projector you can have input lag as low as 4ms. I play with 16ms and that’s already amazing. ... Playing battlefield and even COD 6v6 it’s buttery smooth."
"The input latency is really low, even going through my AV receiver. ... I play a lot of games where it would be an issue (competitive Tetris, rocket league, rhythm games, etc.) but it’s not an issue at all. ... All the games I mentioned are enjoyable enough that I moved the PS5 back into the theater full time."
"I play Rocket League on my BenQ TK700STi in 1080p240 and it’s lovely. ... So good in fact that I permanently moved my gaming PC to the theater after trying it out."

"a year after the left side (mic side) broke with the plastic. ... Super glued it which saved it for a few months before breaking again same spot. ... Other side also has a crack forming. ... they really need to switch to metal for above the earphone partts that connects upwards. That plastic bends when putting it over your head and if it's big, it'll put strain on that plastic and eventually crack like mine did. You have to be gentle with it like I did but that still doesn't stop the cracks over time"
"the mic not being recognized as functional when everything checks out systematically, weird stuff. ... Today my mic completely won't connect to anything, I BT'd it to my phone, won't register that it's on, used it on my PC, nothing. ... Went to a help page and did all the backdoor stuff with permissions, no change (everything was already correct) just more frustration. ... Too much money to forgive."
"the software not recognizing the headset using it's dongle ... I started facing issues with it that seem to be a common occurrence with the headset. ... I find fixes all the time for it! Such as switching USB ports when its not recognized which works but I expect a $300 headset with such praise not to need that kind of attention, for the steep cost (again just a gamer, not an audiophile) I'd expect my purchase to function with minimal intervention. ... I found that the usb shifting thing really isn't uncommon for the headset and that's just not okay with me for the cost."

"I have KEF Q150 with a 150 euro amp. They sound drastically better than a Sonos Move 2. They're different products but for the same price you have way better sound, it's not even close."
"costing $1000-$1200, respectively ... can't, in good faith, recommend a high-end Garmin to anyone who isn't rich"
"Addressing the Move, it’s a nice speaker and overpriced for what it does. ... I feel $250-300 is really what it should cost. ... If I reviewed it, it would get hammered on its value."

"Keychron HE keeb is compatible only with its own HE switches. For me it was a no-go."
"It's very disheartening that I can't change the switches out on the K2."
"lack of aftermarket switch compatibility"

"I have the Q3 keyboard, it is EXTREMELY HEAVY. ... I mean, I can’t move it by one hand as it is basically a solid aluminum ingot. ... So yeah, I never move it and I am very satisfied with it!"
"However the arc 14s is a beast and quite heavy."
"moving it between rooms isn’t ideal"
The first thing you'll probably want to decide on is if you need ISO-UK layout (with the big enter key), or the ANSI American layout. If you are fine with an ANSI layout, you definitely have more options. As for gaming, that really depends. If you are really into competitive PvP games, than you might be more interested in something with HE switches. These are magnetic switches instead of mechanical. Personally, I prefer regular mechanical switches. But HE switches are definitely more gaming focused. If you are fine with mechanical switches you might want to check out something like the Evo80. You can get in either ANSI or ISO layout and is generally a really well regarded keyboard. Mechmods has both layout options for sale ([ANSI](https://www.mechmods.co.uk/collections/keyboards/products/evoworks-evo80-keyboard-ansi-layout?variant=46286231699679) and [ISO](https://www.mechmods.co.uk/collections/keyboards/products/evoworks-evo80-keyboard-iso-layout?variant=54937039307130)). I also believe it works both wireless and wired. There are other options out there though, so it really depends on what you are looking for. Like if you really want RGB options, you might want to look at a Nuphy Gem80. But that only has ANSI layouts and I think they are currently sold out of there usually included switches and keycaps. Keychron is also generally well regarded. For the TKL layout there is the Q3 Max. But they have a few different options, including HE keyboards. So you might want to browse their options.
K has a lot of really dodgy keyboards in it, safer to just avoid it. Q and V are basically the same boards, the Q has a bit higher end components and the aluminum case.
Wooting and Keychron are the only ones I would bother with. Wooting because Wooting, and Keychron because they're QMK.
So far as I know only Keychron has a QMK-based magnetic board, though Monsgeek's driver is not terrible and the M1 v5 TMR has the ability to mix and match magnetic and traditional switches.
I have a Q3 HE, and it work pretty well. Web driver is user friendly and build quality is great. Typing experience is great in terms of sound and feel. For performance, it’s 1k pulling, I can’t notice a difference between 1K and 8K pulling some brands are offering, if you care about the pulling rate, consider the Q3 HE 8K released recently, but it don’t have the wireless connectivity the Q3 HE have. Overall it’s a great keyboard
keychron q3 but there are better tkls and the knob is in a weird spot better get 75% stuff like Lemokey P1 in silver [https://www.lemokey.com/products/lemokey-p1-qmk-via-custom-gaming-keyboard?variant=48200869413163](https://www.lemokey.com/products/lemokey-p1-qmk-via-custom-gaming-keyboard?variant=48200869413163)
understanding you a bit better, honestly wouldn’t touch the primarily gaming brands, i’ve had quite a few logitechs in my time and nothing compares to the keychron q1 i’ve had for like six months and i’ll never look at big brand “gaming keyboards” again. a Keychron Q3 Max specifically has the same % keyboard as your steelseries and it’s a large sum cheaper considering you can customise things like switch types. hope this helps
Just got a Keychron Q3 Max and unofficially retired my Ducky/Varmilo Miya Pro Sakura. Now thinking about turning the Miya Pro into a project. How well would it take 3305 Mill-Max sockets? What other mods would be well suited to it? I'm thinking of swapping switches (or at least relubing the stock reds) and perhaps doing some kind of foam mod to improve and soften the sound.
+1 Keychron is worth the price. I use Keychron Q3, much better than those overpriced "gaming" keyboards.
Yes, be sure to check the correct category.. they got "everything".. the v series is definately good, like others said. I got a q3.. I like cables. Had it for 3 years, I still use it as a daily driver.. got more expensive boards "on the wall".
For gaming, really anything with an HE on the end. Q HE are high-end, K HE are less fancy, but still very nice imo. There's almost no reason to buy a non-HE Keychron keyboard for gaming. Cost is about the same, HE features are super useful in games, and the switches sound pretty good now.
The Q3 seems nice enough, but I've become super dependent on macros and customisation, so VIA/QMK or Launcher support is a must for me.
So you're looking for 75–100%. I can recommend something from the Keychron Q series. Plenty of really clean boards there, and they have keycaps with secondary legends for stuff like media control. A lot of them also have macro columns that can be assigned to various functions.
I would look into the Keychron Q HE keyboards. The Q1 HE is 75% and the Q3 HE is TKL. They're gasket mounted keyboards, and their keycaps are a fair bit nicer than the K HE series. You might also consider the Wooting 80HE with Gateron Jade Pro or Geon RAW switches, at that price. Wooitng pretty much sets the standard when it comes to HE software, and you can do a lot with the 80HE. One thing to note is that the 80HE doesn't have macro support, which makes it unusable for me as a daily driver. That's why I recommend the NuPhy and Keychron boards if you're planning on daily driving it for anything other than gaming.
Agreed. Their stabilisers need some work (although the K4 HE's stabs are the best Keychron stabs I've tried so far). But a Q series Keychron could easily be a "one-and-done" keyboard for me.
I got a barebone Keychron Q3 with Boba U4 switches and heavy PBT keycaps - it is very silent and you can allways add O-rings against bottom out sounds. I used SORBOTHANE to dampen the keyboard. => this is as silent as it gets My current Keychron Q3 HE with magnetic switches is a bit noisier, but with Rapid Trigger, there is just less bottoming out happening during gaming. If you want to spend so much on a keyboard, I would recommend at least a magnetic variant. While I cant say anything about the impact of Rapid Trigger in FPS games, in MMOs it does eliminate finger strain / fatigue for me and I will not go back to normal keyboards for the time beeing.
