LEOBOG x Aula - 75 Key Mechanical Keyboard

I bought this recently for just over $40, so not an all time low. However, it did seem to sound pretty good and everything was pre-lubed so it also felt decent. One negative was that there was too much lube on the left shift key, so I had to take out the keycap, switch, and stabilizer and remove some excess grease that had built up underneath. Sound wise, it's very foamy and a little dense but still sounded pretty good imo.

I ordered both and compared the two side by side and here are my thoughts: This model has the following that the pro doesn't: - Side RGB - An Alt key on the right hand side - Tactile feeling of the knob was slightly better The switches and sound seemed basically identical between the two. I felt like the switches and chassis color on the pro were more in line with what I wanted and I also felt the RGB on the pro seemed a little stronger, but I have nothing quantitative to base this on. I ended up keeping the pro because of the aesthetics, but other than the few things I mentioned above, the two are functionally identical.

could you please help me? which driver should i download to customize this keyboard? mine left windows key notworking and f5-f8 are not working too. seems like all tye purple keys are not funtion.

So far so good, feels premium for the price. I think the switch is comfortable for me.I did not get the software to work. I am not quite educated to the keyboard science, just causal gaming keyboard.

For anyone in the future wondering: I bought both. There is an F99 Pro with a knob (new version) and the F99 without a knob (old version). They have different switches. The new one sounds more full and thocky (less clicky), but the force required to push down a key is higher which I don't love. The new version is also a bit bigger which I like. Ended up keeping the new version because the sound is better and the knob is super useful. The backspace bar has bad stabilizer rattle which sucks (the old version didnt have this). EDIT: some sellers might have different switches so for reference my old version had LEOBOG Graywood V3 and my new version has LEOBOG Star Vector

In my case, I found it to be a little too loud as I’m a heavy typer. I ended up buying silent linear switches (Kailh Deep Sea Islet) and swapping those in.

I just bought the Leobog x Aula 75 Key Mechanical Keyboard for only $67 on Amazon and I absolutely love it! I can’t believe the value for the money. It is an exquisitely thonky and creamy keyboard. Heavy, well-built, and attractive. I got the Retro Rocket model and it just makes me smile when I touch it.

I got the red rocket version but feel like the keys are too soft for me as I keep making mistakes. I was using a cheap keyboard with Akko Cream Blue Pro V3 tactiles but they are too loud in the office. Do you have any recommendations?

The vectors are fine switches, just not for me. If you’re in a cubicle at work it may be noisy for your neighbors. I ended up putting the cream blues in this and like the feel. I haven’t tried any other switches yet. I get a lot of compliments on it which I wasn’t expecting.

I've got a keyboard collecting "problem" and own / have built over 150+ keyboards from pretty much every brand all the way back to IBM Model M/F to latest off the shelf Corsairs, etc. It's SHOCKING how good "budget" keyboards have come along. This keyboard could have easily been $150+ (more likely $200) just 2 years ago in the hobby. Fantastic daily typer, NOT for competitive FPS shooters but can game decent. Very "creamy" with slight thock right out of the box. So far, for less than 50 bucks, this is my budget go to recommendation for 90% of us nerds out there. Enjoy!

I own a Keychron V1 and the V1 looks and feels much cheaper than the Leobog. V1 if I remember correctly has all plastic body, the keycaps while not bad def feel on the cheaper side and again (from memory cuz I'm too damn lazy to pull it out of the shed) I think they are stock OSA profile caps which for many is deal breaker. Sound profile has that cheap ping sound that most people do not like. It was a great budget keeb when it came out (I think over 2 years ago? pushing 3?) but vs this Leobog, I would guess that the majority of people knowing nothing about keebs, would easily choose the Leobog over the V1 by a wide margin. I know other keeb nerds who have paid over $200+ dollars to achieve the exact "creamy" sound the Leobog has for less than $50 out of the box (with the Star Vector Switches these come with). Again, it's $50 bucks. This isn't some endgame keeb so you have to be realistic. But for that $50 you get a LOT of goodness without having to tinker with anything. Out of the box, one and done, just plug it in and gooooooooo. IF you dig the "creamy" sound profile and not a hardcore comp FPS player, and ok with the color scheme (it does come in other color ways but more expensive), I seriously believe that 90% of ordinary people who need a keeb would really like this keeb for the price.

I got this with a 40% coupon last week, it's really good value for the price on sale. I do prefer the Gamakay TK75 Pro that I got for around $63 during Black Friday but under $50 this is better than Keychron keyboards I've bought in the past that cost over $100.
