I have liked logitech for so many years. I still like their mice but everything else has honestly become more and more of a let down. I owned a g933 which was great for a long time but after a few years it became really bad with the power switch messing up the audio balance. Mic arm started breaking (sure you could argue normal wear and tear but it's an expensive headset). I also owned 2x g910v2 keyboard, had to get another one because I broke the spacebar by accident. Idk if it's the keyboard or just software but it started to not register keypresses or sometimes it instead doublepressed keys. Messed up so many things when typing and gaming. Headset wise I was happy when they announced the g935 and tried it for a day before returning it. Sound was terrible, with surround sound on (which I like using) everything was literally just bass and shooting awp in csgo was insane, the bass lingered for so long because it was so loud. Couldn't hear footsteps etc. My friend still use the headset and the promised feature of fixing the g933s problems... well the problems still persist. The power switch is messing up his g935 just like the g933. I must say, I still very much like their mice and that has been their strongest gear for many years imo. Rightnow its the g502 (hero? X? Lightspeed?) Cant remember which one rn but it's actually great. All my logitech mice has been great so I'm still gonna use them and buy new ones. For headset I UPGRADED and wanted to give JBL a shot. JBL has great sound generally so I decided to give their quantum 910 a try. Slight downgrade on mic actually but man is it so much better so far. The audio had a period of me having to get used to the difference but now I like it a lot. Software is just a bit buggy with connection but it's slowly being fixed with updates and had become less frequent. I very recently upgraded my keyboard too. Went from 910 to a steelseries apex pro with magnetic switches. Altough the software has a lot more going on in it making my first impression a bit "oh this is too much", I have gotten used to it too. The g910 romer-g switches did feel good but I can feel the steelseries "omnipoint" switches already being a lot better after getting used. I do miss the tactile feel tho. However the build quality is soooooo much better on the apex pro. TL;DR - Don't buy logitech products unless it's mice. They have messed up too much quality-wise and the only thing that are still reliable is their mice which has been their main thing for many years too.
r/LogitechG • Is the Logitech G815 the best option for full sized gaming keyboard? ->Same, started happening after around 5 years of usage. Nothing helped even deep cleaning. Loved it till it started doing the double and sometimes missing clicking. Replaced with a G815 and I love it!
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->I wouldn't say so. I had the G910 from 2015 to 2017 and had to contend with randomly dying switches, terrible and irregular stroke response, unspeakably clunky software updates (they may have fixed that as of now though), not to mention that the board is completely overdesigned, making it a bitch to clean. I've since switched to the much cheaper Svive TRITON, and couldn't be happier. Still though, at $10, you've landed a very decent deal.
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->G910 orion. Had two, both had issues with keycaps breaking.
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->That is a G910 Orion spark. Has Romer-G switches. Definitely a decent one
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->I swear by my Logitech G910. It’s been working for me for years. I use Logitech’s old software on it because their new software keeps breaking and they won’t fix it. This one is tactile, but not clicky, includes macro keys, and has neat little phone stand :3 https://preview.redd.it/p1j9ixffu3te1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=23a52a7e8e140d7329a3c73fc2b6a6f6dee24006
r/GirlGamers • Show me your gaming keyboards right now! 😠🤭 ->Some things to know about Logitech’s software issues first… Their old software: can’t do macros that include mouse buttons. (The option’s there but it doesn’t work). It also doesn’t accept newer Logitech devices. Their new software: After a while, it will lose the ability to profile switch which can only be rectified by resetting all of your profile/app data for it. Requiring you to re-do all of your profile work. This has been an issue for nearly a decade and they won’t be fixing it, it seems.
r/GirlGamers • Show me your gaming keyboards right now! 😠🤭 ->I have the same G910 keyboard, it's nice. Bought it used for like $50. Even comes with two sizes of wrist rests. Good buy.
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->Damn, I still like my g910 orion spark although It’s too big for me so I don’t use it anymore
r/MechanicalKeyboards • Basically All "Gaming Keyboards" from Corsair, Asus, Logitech, Razer These days ->I used to have this one. Great keyboard!
r/GirlGamers • Show me your gaming keyboards right now! 😠🤭 ->They're known to develop mechanical chatter, double-presses. Mine started right after warranty, and Logi was no help. These days, if I were to buy a mech keyb I'd buy one with easily replaceable switches. If it works it's great for 10$, clean it a lot to be safe. P.S. I just spoke to a buddy and this chatter happened to him very recently with his G910, I told him not to buy it. Weird timing!
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->One of my favorite keyboards ever owned. Still regret selling it to this day. I'm rocking the k70 Rapidfire currently but the G910 was dope. The blue switches were not that loud and it's comfortable for big hands. For $10 definitely a deal.
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->If it doesn't have something like double typping issue for sure it is. I had one G910 with this issue and if you look up you will find many people that had it.
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->Had this issue with my replacement G910, first one led was bad and logitech replaced it, the new G910 got the double type issue with around 8 months of use and logitech didn't wanna deal with it since it was something like 1-2 months out of warranty
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->i can't disagree with this at all, i have been using 5 logitech keyboard in the past 10 years, all of them broke just like several months after 2 years, which put me out of warranty. All the double clicking issue persist from the G413 all the way to G910 and even G815. Now i'm using K100 as well, just that my issue is that it's very sensitive and can easily triggered. so i modified some of the switches with 65gr springs
r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->I would avoid any Logitech keyboard, I've had the G510 and then a G910 and both were kept pristine and torn down for cleaning fully once a year. The G510 space bar stopped registering and the G910 every single key double/triple typed or refused to register at all conveniently right as the warranty ended, it wasn't a cheap keyboard purchase either. I've since switched to an Akko/Monsgeek keyboard and the quality difference is night and day for half the cost. Logitech seems fine for mice, I have the G502 X Plus and I've had other wired G502s in the past and I've never had any issues with them at all. Couldn't comment on headsets as I've always been a HyperX fan, the 300 hour battery life on mine is insane I rarely have to charge it.
r/keyboards • Are Logitech keyboards any good???? ->Romerg switches are pretty nice. Bought a g910 when they first came out and I liked it then. I sold it a few years ago but never had an issue
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->I LOVE the orion spark. Still have mine but since swapped to the g915 lightspeed as that was the closest feeling keyboard i could test. I love the softness of the romer g switches. The 8 key on my orion decided to shit the bed though and will double press alot but no other issues. The app was kinda cool too. Def worth picking up
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->It's funny you say this because I have been using my Logitech G910 Spectrum keyboard for about 8 years now. I have had zero issues until recently and I game heavily. Only in these past few weeks hhave I begun to get double keystrokes, and my left alt keycap broke off, which is why I'm back in the market and looking at a new Logitech.
r/LogitechG • Is the Logitech G815 the best option for full sized gaming keyboard? ->I'm hitting thhe 8 year mark on my G910 spectrum. Sad to have to replace it, but the switches are starting to die on me and replacing them looks like its going to cost almost as much as a new board (over $1 a switch, yuck). I'd recommend a logitech keyboard to anyone based on my experience.
r/LogitechG • Is the Logitech G815 the best option for full sized gaming keyboard? ->You can set up the G-keys to do just about anything, even launch a website in a specific browser. Or alt+f4 or even bring up the lock screen. Works great if you are starting activities and your SO walks in. Well, in some of yalls case it would be mother + basement stairs.
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->I have had 2 of them, if you don't have any issues then it is an awesome keyboard for 10 bucks.
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->I've been using mine for nine years. The C key recently died and I replaced the switch. imo your goodwill find is a steal.
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->You can get replacement switches pretty cheap. I recently replaced a switch on my G910. It's a bit of a pain to disassemble and you have to solder the switch but I like the keyboard so it was well worth the effort.
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->This post put a smile on my face. I am looking at my G910 right in front of me as I’m typing this. This keyboard has been with me for 8, maybe 9 years now and I use it everyday. A great piece of peripheral and very reliable.
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->Yes!!! arguably the second best keyboard ever made (nothing tops the Orion Spark imo). i have a spark myself and i absolutely love it. i REALLY need to clean it and 3d print some new parts for some of the function keys too
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->Did you find a way to fix yours? Or did you go with something else for a keyboard? Mine has the double-press problem and it’s so frustrating I’m about to swap it out for the shitty free keyboard I have in my closet. (Such a shame, it feels great to type with when it behaves.)
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->I’ve gone through like 3 g910 keyboards I love them.
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->I’ve had my g910 since 2019 I think, using it both for gaming and work (making great use of macros, g-keys and media keys) and it still works as good as new. After many hours using it every day i had a little bit of strain in my wrist because of the height of the keyboard, but I bought a cheap memory foam pad on amazon and it works great. 10/10 keyboard for the price IMO
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->The design is slightly outdated, rather than being USB-C, Bluetooth compatible, w/ obligatory Cherry MX key switches, and no numpad, it's got hella extra keys, Logitech's semi-mushy Romer-G switches, and hard-wired USB connector. I paid nearly $120 some years back, and it still works like the day I bought it. Although I've moved on, I still look back wishing I had some of those features. The Volume knob wheel itself is impossible to not love.
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->Those Romer-G models were notoriously bad. Proprietary switches which would have been okay (they certainly felt ok when they were new) if they could withstand the slightest humid weather before corroding/double-clicking like their mouse switches. Keycap stems that would break from normal use. Became unusable in about a year. After more than 5 years, I still see old stock at local stores. They can't sell those things anymore and retailers are left holding the bag. I was hoping the GX models they replaced them with were ok but I wasn't about to roll the dice again after getting burned. Got a keyboard with switches that I at least knew were humidity-tested and haven't had to think about it ever since.
r/LogitechG • Is the Logitech G815 the best option for full sized gaming keyboard? ->Stay away from logitech, their switches are propietary and weak design
r/computers • looking for a keyboard, which one is the best? ->I have like 10 mechanical keyboards and the only two that for some reason a switch broke were both Logitech romerG... And they dont sell replacement parts
r/computers • looking for a keyboard, which one is the best? ->
