not sure what kind of customization you want. But if its just general office use and you dont need a lot of buttons. Id say go with logitech. Their TKL keyboard is hotswappable and the g502 is good enough. Same for headphones. Nothing fancy but all works great. If you want a bit of trouble but a bit more customization but still want a single app. Steelseries is the next one for me. Nova pro wireless headphones is great, aerox 5 got buttons for days and their wireless TKL is ight. Only thing is they are all a bit overpriced like razer. Both logitech and steelseries app are buggy and needed if you run macros and audio setups. Both can crash on you in the heat of the moment in games. But with logitech you can mostly do it all once and close the app in the background and forget. GG finds a dirty spot on your face and turns into a mole. The customization in the GG app makes it appealing to some people, but annoying to some. Both brand require different wireless dongles for each peripheral so get that usb hub ready. I used to be a logitech guy since I had a g29 wheel which also use the same app. I switched to steelseries for a while with the siberia 800s headset, then the arctis pro wireless. Both amazing headsets that only the astro a20 (bought by logitech now) can compete against. I now use a keychron q13 max and a razer naga pro v2 with a beyerdynamic 1990pro since this setup only require me to use razer app. And razer app, tho with its buggy software, once you successfully... ONCE YOU SUCCESSFULLY AND ONLY THEN, you can save everything ONLINE by signing up their account, and ONLY THEN, you can forget about the app ever existed. BTW, keychron uses web browser so its customization is EXTREMELY limited... but hea, everything is saved on-board. LIKE LOGITECH DID BEFORE!!!! then they got rid of it...
r/buildapc • Best Brand for Keyboard, Mouse, and Headset? Looking for a Single Software Setup ->The main problem with keyboards is the keys total travel distance. The Logi tech G pro first gen. (linear) is 3.0mm total travel and 1.5mm actuation, every other keyboard is 3.2 to 4.2 TOTAL TRAVEL DISTANCE (even the new HE magnetic keyboards) all the keyboard companies, the only thing they need to do (instead of making expensive af keyboards) is lower the total travel distance by half or a quarter (of what it currently is), and have actuations anywhere from 0.9, 1.0, 1.2, 1.3. 1.5 actuation points, with 2.0, 2.3, 2.5, 2.8, 3.0 being the total travel distance. IT SHOULD NOT be higher than 3.0 total travel................................ So, when you naturally bottom out on a keyboard, you don't need to travel up very far (like 4 mm is a deep travel distance, that should not even be a thing with gaming keyboards) So, mechanical can still be a thing if it was what I explained. Wouldn't need to make over priced keyboards.
r/buildapc • What is the best gaming keyboard right now? ->Still.rocking g810 and g710+ and have g pro tkl. Hate thex dont have replacement keycaps for romer g. https://www.reddit.com/r/LogitechG/s/DrgbvTndxx
r/LogitechG • My verdict on the Logitech Gaming Keyboards ->Hello there. I use the Wooting 80HE and honestly for the type of game that battlefield is you really won’t gain any advantage. Sure with rapid trigger on you’ll be able to strafe faster and you’ll 100% notice at least that for example but in a real match it won’t give ya any advantage. I’d just pass on it unless your deadset on getting one 👍. Edit: If it helps at all I used to use a Logitech g pro TKL. Between em both I’d probably keep using my Logitech unless I got into more twitch like shooters.
r/Battlefield • Anyone gaming on a Hall Effect / Magnetic keyboard? Is it worth it for shooters like BF, or is it mostly noticeable in shooters like CS or Valorant? ->The Logitech G203 is a great entry-level gaming mouse with solid performance and is about £23 at Argos. I used one for years before upgrading but still keep it as a backup. For keyboard you can get the Logitech G Pro TKL for £80 at Argos so you could get both for £103 and have a pretty good time IMO. Just make sure your console supports them if that’s where you’re using them.
r/Competitiveoverwatch • What’s a good mouse and keyboard for under 100 pounds? ->+1 for tkl, have enjoyed mine goin on 5 years now.
r/Battlefield • Anyone gaming on a Hall Effect / Magnetic keyboard? Is it worth it for shooters like BF, or is it mostly noticeable in shooters like CS or Valorant? ->i own both keychrons and razers. Also logitech gpro x and g915 TKL. Matter of the fact: software in keychrons has no issues and build quality is objectively better, specially in Q series of keychrons. If you want to get a keyboard and want something reliable, ready to go, well built and easily programmable, just get a keychron. Wooting/Logitech/Steelseries/Corsair/GenericComercialOrGamerBrand is just like razer level, not best in class Razer gets closer altough not there yet to best in class features in the last blackwidow v4 75% (asus also does great with Azoth boards) but the board has really low reliabilty, so not best in class at all. check out r/MechanicalKeyboards for advice, they will guide you to get something real good and it can easily be cheaper or cost the same as razer boards.
r/razer • What is razers best keyboard right now? ->If you like GHUB, then yes they are worth it. If not, there are other manufactutrers. For me software is just as important as the hardware. The G613 is a pretty old keyboard. Wireless tech has improved since then. My household is pretty much logitech. It makes it easier for setup. I have seperate setups for my laptop, gaming desktop and workstation. Kids have logitech setups as well. Same thing as video cards. AMD is better hardware, but just have the same software across all devices makes life easier for setup and failiarity. Logitech stuff is hit and miss. MY G815 had busted keycaps and double typing switches. New model addresses that. I am on my third G703 first 2 had the double clicking. I use the PRO X Linear for my workstation with G305 and those have held up for over 2 years now. The newer gear do have improved switches. Mx Anywhere 2S and K810 still working well as my portable setup
r/keyboards • Are Logitech keyboards any good???? ->tbh from someone who's typing on a $130 logitech keyboard and uses budget keyboards like those from whatgeek. There's not much in it, as long as you like the switches. Go try out different keyboards with different switches and get the one you like. My logitech keyboard I bought because I was tired of throwing away keyboards with dead switches. This G pro you can just buy new switches when they die.
