**Part 1 - First expression** So I got my keyboard yesterday, and have played COD for a few hours. What I like: \+ Build quality is superb, keycaps and chassis feels premium, not too much keywobble, no flex \+ Instant response \+ Volume wheel feels premium \+ Layout fits my use case My neutrals: / No wrist rest / USB cable is pointing upwards (aesthetics) / Actuation pressure is very light, so this is a sensitive keyboard / G-Hub - Once you get the hang of it, it is not that hard to use / Media keys feel sub-par, this would be a negative if I used those Negatives for me: \- Loud keycaps, installed O rings that mute the sound a bit, but most of the sound comes when the button hops back. Tried 0.1 actuation and boy did I make mistakes, so now I have 1.0mm and that seems okay. Key priority works (SOCD) also, but you can't use rapid trigger with it. I am not a pro player and cant feel a difference when rapid is on or off. If the keys were not as loud, I would give this 9/10 but for now **7/10** will do. I might get used to the sound or not. **Part 2 - A bit longer experience:** I am used to the sound now and while I still have the ability to send it back, I will keep it. I have created custom profiles for gaming and desktop, and those suite me well: For desktop sensitivity is set to 3mm to reduce accidental key presses. For gaming I have set tab and caps to 4mm as I sometimes open scoreboard accidentally, this reduced that quite well, WSAD 1mm actuation and 0.1mm rapid also set. Q and E are set to 2mm so I don't use tacticals or lethals accidentally. I also have profile for socd where other settings are identical, only AD are set for SOCD. The problem I have with this is that I am used to pressing a and d separate so keeping one pressed and tapping the other feels weird for me. I like internal profile selection, however you apparently can't set different profile lighting for each profile. It makes profile identification harder. Good all a around keyboard and I do recommend it. **8.5/10** just a bit quieter and tactile buttons, and this would be 10 in my book. **Part 3 - Last impressions:** So now I have used this for two weeks and here are my toughts: The initial expression regarding build quality has stayed, the keyboard feels premium all around, the weakest link tough is the feet, which seem a bit flimsy build vise, but do their work well and. Keycaps and keypresses feel solid, and as i complained about the sound in the first expression, I now have gotten used to that. Also keyboard felt a bit too sensitive at the beginning, but that is also something that I now like. I don't think you can add cutom lighting to keyboard profiles, example keypress echo, but you can set a colour so that is something...I would like to sync my pc and keyboard settings with ease. Responsive feel, and when I used a profile meant for my desktop use, where all keys are 3mm actuation, no rapid, for gaming, it did feel a bit sluggish compared to my gaming profile (described in part 2). So it is not all just talk I guess. Yeah, I like this :) But you need to fiddle with profiles to get the best user experience. **9.5/10** [Pro x super light 2 and rapid is a good setup :\)](https://preview.redd.it/q9uboio5r15e1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3cd6c24af6e4ce2aaa97d431d3b787ee546c38b3) [USB cable is pointing upwards when stands are used](https://preview.redd.it/2y9mkawyr15e1.jpg?width=1868&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=73b91645f06d8a2770c810abeeabb6e25bddeace)
r/LogitechG • G Pro X TKL Rapid initial noob review ->I don't want to hype products, but yeah, if this is durable, I will give this 9.5/10 as I now have got used to the sound and feel of this keyboard. 0.1 you say? I made so many mistakes with that sensitivity :D
r/LogitechG • G Pro X TKL Rapid initial noob review ->Just posted this same comment on another post but it's relevant here too, Asking in here you're going to run into a lot of sweats and purists Dont listen to the sweats, they'll have you thinking that lubing your switches and dampening your nutsack is normal behavior. I would recommend the Logitech G series, G915 or G Pro series They come in a bunch of different varieties from mechanical to hall effect switches, TK and TKL versions alike. They're well priced, reliable, good software and well optioned. I have the Logitech g pro x tkl rapid. It has Hall effect switches, so you can electronically adjust the actuation points to really customize the functionality and comfortability to your preference. These days, amongst the large brands, Logitech is known for being well priced and reliable, but not the most aesthetically inclined, Razer is known for being reliable and overpriced for their functionality, but more aesthetically minded, other ones like turtle beach/hyperx/steel series are basically branded ali express hardware with proprietary software, Corsair and Asus are more for brand purists, Ducky, NuPhy, Keychron are headed more into the sweats territory. Guarantee there'll be a bunch of people angrily disagreeing with some parts of this, get good, touch grass, have a nap. Best of luck <3
r/keyboards • Keyboard recommendation, I'm a beginner. ->Dunno... I paid 119€ for Logitech G Pro X TKL rapid with magnetic switches and it has been really nice. Same software as my Logitech G Pro Lightspeed mouse and easy to configure the actuation points etc and the feel of the keyboard is pretty nice. Ofc you could probably get a Ducky/Wootin/Keychron/whatever for the same price.
r/LogitechG • Best 100% gaming keyboard under 150 usd ? ->Hands down, I'm considering going back to Logitech. I've owned 4+ keyboards from Logitech and not one ever broke on me. Logitech G PRO X TKL is the one considering. It's not hot swappable but it gives all the feature you would get from the black widow v4 75% + its also wireless. As of right now, I was forced to purchased another keyboard at my local retailer store (BestBuy -brought a Logitech) since Razer "RMA Process" requires you to send in the defective one first before they sending out a replacement (their standard process). This would be my second time dealing with their customer support in regards to the exactly same keyboard and depending how Razer handles this situation - I'll decide if i want to keep the keyboard or trash it afterward. But if you're open to other manufacturers, def look into Logitech or Keychron (If you want a customizable keyboard, also comes all kind of sizes/layout). and honestly, thinking about it now, the only feature I really liked from the v4 75% is the magnetic wrist pad (nice and wide). Hope this helps :)
r/razer • Best black widow keyboard ? Or razer keyboard in general ->I got G Pro X TKL (because rapid is only wired) and I'm not super happy about it. I've got it for a few months and it works well, but the main problem i have with it is the fact that keycontrol isn't enabled on it (for whatever reason since all the newer keyboards have it lol) and it doesn't work with PS5 which is tremendously stupid.
r/LogitechG • Is there any Logitech gaming keyboard worth buying? ->I just got mine today and i didnt think keyboards could get any better. Let alone improve my movement. Worth the $160 for sure! I have my actuation set to 0.1 and my rapid fire set to 0.5
r/LogitechG • G Pro X TKL Rapid initial noob review ->I dont share these sentiments.. I think it's a wonderful low profile mechanical keyboard.. I have the tactile version and it's as quiet as the mx keys for me. I find the stability of the keycaps to be even better than the MX Keys.. I also have the newer G Pro TKL to compare to and while that's a full size keycap type keyboard, both are extremely satisfying for me to use. I do overall prefer the G Pro TKL for gaming and typing, I bought this for my office computer and finding it to be amazing. Then again, Best Buy has this on sale for like $10 off right now plus for some reason when I bought it in store, they added another $25 off on top.. I got it for like $100\~ out the door. For the price "I" paid, I think it's extremely worth it. I probably wouldn't recommend it at MSRP though. Edit: My only gripe is that if you don't use the backlighting at all (to save battery) you can't hardly see the keys at all.. The key "writing" or signage on each key are nearly invisible. Not that it matters once you find the notches on the F and J keys.
r/keyboards • Logitech G515 is a huge dissapointment 😔 ->Definitely, I bought the g-pro a few years back, and it's great. Logitech makes good products.
r/pcmasterrace • Is this a decent gaming keyboard? Picked up at my local Goodwill for $10 ->Avoid like the plague. All 3 ot my newer (G413 x2, g513 x3 with keycaps worn in less rhrn a year with light use. G pro x1) keyboards failed within warranty or shortly after. My G pro is still in warranty and only in use by my father who uses his pc for light internet browsing and it already failed once. I would also mention that I live in Europe in a mild climate, its not humid in the house at all! Also krep in mind that a bunch of the keychrons people will suggest to you will have useless south-facing leds. That will do nothing to illuminate characters on the keys. https://preview.redd.it/wq6n1u7lahqd1.jpeg?width=4096&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e93ae4bc255773b32fea8ec0a7e893ae3038ebf Ie: Keychron C2 Pro.
r/keyboards • Are Logitech keyboards any good???? ->If you like GHUB, then yes they are worth it. If not, there are other manufactutrers. For me software is just as important as the hardware. The G613 is a pretty old keyboard. Wireless tech has improved since then. My household is pretty much logitech. It makes it easier for setup. I have seperate setups for my laptop, gaming desktop and workstation. Kids have logitech setups as well. Same thing as video cards. AMD is better hardware, but just have the same software across all devices makes life easier for setup and failiarity. Logitech stuff is hit and miss. MY G815 had busted keycaps and double typing switches. New model addresses that. I am on my third G703 first 2 had the double clicking. I use the PRO X Linear for my workstation with G305 and those have held up for over 2 years now. The newer gear do have improved switches. Mx Anywhere 2S and K810 still working well as my portable setup
