Hands down, I'm considering going back to Logitech. I've owned 4+ keyboards from Logitech and not one ever broke on me. Logitech G PRO X TKL is the one considering. It's not hot swappable but it gives all the feature you would get from the black widow v4 75% + its also wireless. As of right now, I was forced to purchased another keyboard at my local retailer store (BestBuy -brought a Logitech) since Razer "RMA Process" requires you to send in the defective one first before they sending out a replacement (their standard process). This would be my second time dealing with their customer support in regards to the exactly same keyboard and depending how Razer handles this situation - I'll decide if i want to keep the keyboard or trash it afterward. But if you're open to other manufacturers, def look into Logitech or Keychron (If you want a customizable keyboard, also comes all kind of sizes/layout). and honestly, thinking about it now, the only feature I really liked from the v4 75% is the magnetic wrist pad (nice and wide). Hope this helps :)
r/razer • Best black widow keyboard ? Or razer keyboard in general ->G PRO X TKL is very awesome as well. It replaced my over 10 year old HHKB2PRO and I have nothing bad to say.
r/linux_gaming • The best Gaming Keyboard to buy for Gamers now? ->I’m pretty happy with my G Pro TKL
r/buildapc • What are you go to Keyboards? ->I agree but also disagree.. I have a nice collection of keyboards ranging from fully custom build in a zoom65 case, a Boog75 analog, Bakeneko 60% (one of my favorites honestly lol) to the Pro x tkl rapid the op asked about. The one thing I truest appreciate is the software the TKL has. Trying to set everything my Custom analog keyboard has is a pain in the ass. VIA, VIAL, QMK are nice but they don’t have the refinement of using something a big company like Logitech provides. It’s far from perfect but I at least get visuals on what it is I’m changing when it comes to the analog stuff and I don’t have to dig around in a 3-4 year old discord server files system to find a JSON file to get VIA to work with my keyboards. My TKL sits along side my BOOG75 as my go to keyboards depending on the work or game. I wouldn’t count out “gamer” brands, they’re good for a reason(some of them) and when it comes to price.. they can be a hell of lot cheaper than custom boards. For everything else a 20 dollar keyboard gets the job done, why spend more than that unless you want personalization.
r/keyboards • Logitech G PRO X TKL Rapid x Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL ->Hello there. I use the Wooting 80HE and honestly for the type of game that battlefield is you really won’t gain any advantage. Sure with rapid trigger on you’ll be able to strafe faster and you’ll 100% notice at least that for example but in a real match it won’t give ya any advantage. I’d just pass on it unless your deadset on getting one 👍. Edit: If it helps at all I used to use a Logitech g pro TKL. Between em both I’d probably keep using my Logitech unless I got into more twitch like shooters.
r/Battlefield • Anyone gaming on a Hall Effect / Magnetic keyboard? Is it worth it for shooters like BF, or is it mostly noticeable in shooters like CS or Valorant? ->I got G Pro X TKL (because rapid is only wired) and I'm not super happy about it. I've got it for a few months and it works well, but the main problem i have with it is the fact that keycontrol isn't enabled on it (for whatever reason since all the newer keyboards have it lol) and it doesn't work with PS5 which is tremendously stupid.
r/LogitechG • Is there any Logitech gaming keyboard worth buying? ->i own both keychrons and razers. Also logitech gpro x and g915 TKL. Matter of the fact: software in keychrons has no issues and build quality is objectively better, specially in Q series of keychrons. If you want to get a keyboard and want something reliable, ready to go, well built and easily programmable, just get a keychron. Wooting/Logitech/Steelseries/Corsair/GenericComercialOrGamerBrand is just like razer level, not best in class Razer gets closer altough not there yet to best in class features in the last blackwidow v4 75% (asus also does great with Azoth boards) but the board has really low reliabilty, so not best in class at all. check out r/MechanicalKeyboards for advice, they will guide you to get something real good and it can easily be cheaper or cost the same as razer boards.
r/razer • What is razers best keyboard right now? ->Just posted this same comment on another post but it's relevant here too, Asking in here you're going to run into a lot of sweats and purists Dont listen to the sweats, they'll have you thinking that lubing your switches and dampening your nutsack is normal behavior. I would recommend the Logitech G series, G915 or G Pro series They come in a bunch of different varieties from mechanical to hall effect switches, TK and TKL versions alike. They're well priced, reliable, good software and well optioned. I have the Logitech g pro x tkl rapid. It has Hall effect switches, so you can electronically adjust the actuation points to really customize the functionality and comfortability to your preference. These days, amongst the large brands, Logitech is known for being well priced and reliable, but not the most aesthetically inclined, Razer is known for being reliable and overpriced for their functionality, but more aesthetically minded, other ones like turtle beach/hyperx/steel series are basically branded ali express hardware with proprietary software, Corsair and Asus are more for brand purists, Ducky, NuPhy, Keychron are headed more into the sweats territory. Guarantee there'll be a bunch of people angrily disagreeing with some parts of this, get good, touch grass, have a nap. Best of luck <3
r/keyboards • Keyboard recommendation, I'm a beginner. ->Dunno... I paid 119€ for Logitech G Pro X TKL rapid with magnetic switches and it has been really nice. Same software as my Logitech G Pro Lightspeed mouse and easy to configure the actuation points etc and the feel of the keyboard is pretty nice. Ofc you could probably get a Ducky/Wootin/Keychron/whatever for the same price.
r/LogitechG • Best 100% gaming keyboard under 150 usd ? ->Well thats a good question, but you are making big leaps in logic, and i dont mean that in a bad or insulting way. Yes, buying the Mchose based on their specs, and then it being slightly different on your PC could happen, but if these are widely reviewed keyboards then it wouldnt make sense for you to be the first person on the planet to find out they are lying on their specs. My point is, if there are so many long-term reviews of them, they can probably be trusted. It going to shit in 6 months is also a probability in gaming products. My old Razer Mamba generation 1 lasted for exactly 4 months before it developed a double click issue that i had to RMA for, and then the second one also had the issue after 6 or so months. I also had a logitech G PRO keyboard whose keycaps were utterly dogshit, like actual wallmart discount bin quality, and felt mushy and unresponsive despite many pros using it. And then when i looked for keyboard-reviewers they actually highlighted the same problems i had with it. Like, Razer, Steelseries have suffered from bad quality control on and off for some years. Sometimes they release a banger, sometimes they dont. Like, i get it, many of these cheap keyboard flavor of the month brands are untested and new. But many others like wooting, keychron, varmilo, Ducky, have been around the block for a lot of time already, consistently good. I get your concern if someone recommends the YEUHR84 (made up) that just came out yesterday, but on those legacy brands? more than safe. Also you made a small sentence there of "tested in what im buying for". Unless you are thinking of a HE keyboard, gaming keyboards dont do anything superior to regular keyboards of a good quality. Perhaps in the past you could argue about latency, but check [RTINGS](https://www.rtings.com/keyboard/tools/table) review table, even for the ultra budget keyboards the latency numbers are as good or better than steelseries or razer most of the time.
