I adore this keyboard. But! I also have a epomaker ek68 in black with haimu heartbeat switches and it is extremely comfy to game on for long periods. I swap these 2 out regularly and enjoy gaming on both

Lucky65v2 you may get it for \~5.7k shipped (approx) a new one, talk to nexuspc or post WTB on imkc. Also, keebsmod at 6.2k and 6k for new users. I started with keychron k2 Pro(new, still own) and didn't like 75% much. Could not find any use of the Function row. Got Monsgeek M1 (sold), to big for my desk and heavy board. (Consider heavy board only if you are not carrying it). Then brought Zoom65v3 (used), remapped all media keys; compact and multiple mounting options.

hardware-wise the crush 80 is solid. support-wise... yeah the rumors are true. if you're in the EU, dealing with return shipping to china is a nightmare if anything arrives broken. for 200 euros you have way safer bets that are just as good: **1. Neo80:** honestly the gold standard right now. you have to build it yourself but it’s easy and quality is insane. **2. Keychron Q3 Max:** boring answer but it just works. wireless, easy to get in EU, solid support. **3. IQUNIX Nature 80:** (biased mention, but if you want something that looks different than a standard rectangle, check it out). definitely skip that filco suggestion below though. legendary board in 2010, but ancient tech today

yeah the neo80 configurator is basically a final boss fight if you're new. honestly, just pick the 'Tri-mode PCB' (if you want wireless) and the 'FR4 Plate' (best all-rounder sound). ignore the rest of the noise. regarding the lucky65: it's a great board, but just remember it's a 65% layout, so you lose the physical F-row keys. since you mentioned coding, missing F5/F10/F12 might drive you crazy unless you are comfortable with layers. for a cheaper entry point that still has F-keys, look at the **Monsgeek M1**. it's built like a tank and easy to get in the EU. **for switches:** since you haven't tried many, don't overspend yet. **linear (smooth):** get **gateron milky yellow pros**. they are cheap, pre-lubed, and sound amazing. **tactile (bump):** **akko v3 cream blue pro**. super snappy and satisfying. **office safe:** if your coworkers hate noise, look for **ttc silent frozen** or **haimu heartbeats**. silent switches feel a bit 'mushy' but they are dead quiet. welcome to the rabbit hole. your wallet is gonna hate it here. lol

I actually have reviewed the mongsgeek m1. It’s a wonderful keyboard and required a bit of modding to get the sound right. I’ll check into the others!

Just so you know. You don’t need to buy a whole New keyboard to get the sound you want. Switches really do most of the work here. I personally don’t like tactile but if you search around there will be some recommendations. Just swap them out on your keyboard and toss those reds in the trash

If you want a higher quality aluminum keyboard, the Bridge75, Rainy75, or Monsgeek M1 are the best you will find for the lowest cost. Womier SK keyboards and Yunzii AL keyboards are decent, a little cheaper, but not as good. Keychron is overpriced but sometimes you can find a deal on eBay. Get a Q or V if you do.

I think most of these are terrible recommendations. Why would you suggest random amazon boards in 2025 when boards like QK Neo or Cycle7/8 exist? I think monsgeek is fine but all the other boards you listed are kinda sus imo.
