Iβm using GMK61 rn. Sometimes i switched to a 75% i forgot the name and Monsgeek MG75. I prefer to assemble my own keyboard by buying barebones r/budgetkeebs
If you want granular input then do everglide su75 pro, irok mg68plus or mg75 pro/max, chilkey slice68/75he, morkblade bold tkl, or a custom build with a geonworks venom pcb. Most HE/TMR boards use pretty unreliable OEMs such as shenzhen arbiter or rongyuan which don't have great stability and frequently drop support. These options use another OEM called sparklink which is more stable and reliable, and the configurators are also way better (can even write your own if you want with their SDK). The Venom PCBs are even better as theyre developed inhouse. I'd avoid wooting due to pricing and buid quality as well as stock switches and lack of good sounding/feeling mounting options. Monsgeek falls into the category of boards using bad OEMs, in this case rongyuan. Keychron is okay, but the build quality, switch options, mounting, and pricing falls behind good options using sparklink pcbs.
everglide ae68 pro or su75 pro are pretty good options, reliable pcbs and great performance. Also irok mg68plus and mg75 pro/max most boards around this price point like jet75, ace60 series, m1 v5 tmr and sk75 tmr use PCBs from brands like rongyuan and shenzhen arbiter which have some stability issues from firmware lacking autocal, and just having a bad development schedule prioritising new releases over continued support
True. Got a monsgeek 35$ HE keyboard and it switches are too light for me and the delay wasn't worth it (8-12ms). I preferred heavy switches and the heavy tactile switches to.
magnetic keyboards sounds good btw go for HE keyboards with better switches i used akko monsgeek and mad 60 both sound silent and feels good to type i guess u can save 4k and buy a he on also i would recommend AULA F75 which sounds creamy like u mentioned u will definitely love it but its above ur budget which costs 5k. OR -> my best suggestion is just mod ur keyboard it only takes 1k-1.2k thats it.
I got a monsgeek (Akko) yesterday and it is insane quality. Mine was $130 US but thatβs Amore expensive one from them. Highly recommend looking into them instead of those other brands. I think keychron and epokomaker are similar quality too.
