I think I have you beat: - Kick 75 low & high profile - Halo 65 black & white - Halo 75 v2 blue - Halo 96 v2 black & white - Air 60 v2 black & white - Air 75 v2 white - Air 75 v3 white That’s just the Nuphy boards… 😵💫😓
Impressive Nuphy set of keyboards! Must say that I love the quality of my Air75v2 and the Halo75v2. The Air75v2 was my first keyboard after years and years typing on Logitech MX keyboards. That triggered me into the hobby. A lot happened in 1.5 years.. I got 12 keyboards now and prefer regular mechanical keyboards over low profile ones and moved from deep thocky to clack... Favorite now is my Neo65CU. I've taken a break from buying more... but you never now what comes along next ;)
I have the Halo75. I love the thing. I have the Lemon switches, so a bit of a tactile bump, but it’s still pretty quiet. I use it to connect to my desktop, MacBook Pro, and work laptop, and it switches between them via Bluetooth very reliably. Factor in the hot-swappable switches, and I get the feeling I’ll be using this thing for quite a while.
I used to use Nuphy for a while (specifically Nuphy Halo75) which I recommend from my experience with it. The keyboard is durable and supports hot-swapping, and the lights look pretty slick. Might be biased though since it was my first real keyboard, but just a lil something to consider. Wooting is REALLY good though
I've a halo 75 v2 and it's great, but I don't think they make full-sized ones.
Mine is positively halo 75 v2 and I've had no issues with it whatsoever with KDE.
Anyone can recommend me 75% keyboard that is good for gaming and StarCraft? Some of my considerations: - Wobkey Rainy 75 with Kailh Cocoa Switches (not sure if I like this gap next to functions keys) - nuphy halo75 v2 with Mint Switches - Keychron K2 HE with Magnetic Nebula Switches But are they actually good for gaming? I have a pretty old Keychron K2 with Gateron brown switches which I like, but I need replacement. HE sounds like safe bet? Nuphy seems tempting option, got some easy to press switches. I don't like TKL layout or cherry switches Thanks
Yeah, that's why I like my Keychron K2 more than TKL. Ordered halo 75 v2 with Mint Switches. Purely due to how they sound, and I want to try out linear switches for gaming. But it should be ok for typing too. Probably will keep K2 for work/typing as Gateron brown are tractle HE keyboards sound weird to me or even annoying
Nuphy Halo 75 V2 rasberry its the best!
Thats a great question I really like them all but since your asking what my top three are, here it goes. At number 3 the Kick 75, I actually won this one from a youtuber and on my bday which was cool. I didn't know what to expect from this keyboard because it was made of plastic but when I received the keyboard it didn't feel cheap at all in my opinion. It is well made and has some good weight to it. Mine is a high profile and came with red switches it feels really good to type on and the knob is very useful as I use it to higher or lower my music while working. I also love the retro look it adds a bit of fun to my workstation so I like to use it on Mondays lol. 2 Would have to be Halo 75v2 my first into to Nuphy keyboard. I had come from using razer products for almost 10 years but when they no longer supported mac I was on the search for a keyboard that gave me the excitement that Razer keyboards gave me at the time. I am a visual person so if something looks good it inspires me to want to be at my desk and create. So I don't just use them for gaming but for inspiration as well. it just sets the vibe if you will. So when I saw the black 75 v2 I had to have it. The keyboard looked so much more different then what I had been using and it really looked awesome when I set it on my desk. The feel of the typing was different then that of Razer, it just felt comfortable. It was more sensitive then I was used to but it was fine after a couple of days. The switches that I have in the Halo75v2 are Raspberry switches. The design of this keyboard is superb and the rbg on the bottom half of the keyboard come on its just awesome. 1 Gem 80 just when I thought I had experienced the most comfortable keyboard this was it. I really love the key caps and in combination with the lemon switch's its just bliss. This keyboard is built like a tank I also love the fact that you can make mods if you want to. A great intro into the building of mechanical keyboards if that's your thing. If you want to tinker around you can and it comes with everything you need to get a feel for it. Mine is in Obsidian Black this keyboard was specifically for my pc desk where I do digital art and game every now and then. It is the tri mode version so I can use it wirelessly blue tooth or wired. So fare this keyboard is my favorite at the moment. I know this is a little thing but having a dedicated button to lock the windows key has become such a help since I always hit the windows key every time I am using Photoshop, Affinity designer etc it has been a blessing. And then I can just click it back on when I need to.
Wow! That's awesome! I have the Halo75 v2 in black but always regretted not getting the blue model instead. :(
nuphy halo75 v2 has been great for me out of the box (kind of, started with the factory slient red switches, and then Akko Creamy Black, and now with gateron baby kangaroo), but overall the I also enjoy the factory switches
