I think I have you beat: - Kick 75 low & high profile - Halo 65 black & white - Halo 75 v2 blue - Halo 96 v2 black & white - Air 60 v2 black & white - Air 75 v2 white - Air 75 v3 white That’s just the Nuphy boards… 😵💫😓
r/NuPhy • My Nuphy keyboard collection ->NuPhy Kick75, one of the best value keyboards I've ever used
r/macmini • What are some really good mechanical keyboards that you guys love using? ->I like the NuPhy Kick75 well enough, and they're releasing an Air75 V3 soon with the same design and LP V3 switches. Those will both be good options for portability, although the Kick is a little thicc. If you don't need portability, check out the Iqunix MQ80 and Magi65. Both are heavy AF, and there's no easily accessible on/off toggle, so not portable really. I recommend the Iqunix boards over the Lofree Flow and Flow Lite, because they're just higher quality IMO. I have a Flow Lite and I never use it because the keycaps became shiny after like a week of use, and the keycaps they put on it are just not great for my typing accuracy. I've heard similar complaints from others.
r/keyboards • Low Profile Keyboard Recommendations? ->Overall? Tough question to answer, tbh. Sometimes it just depends on the day. My top 3 are easily the Iqunix Magi65 Pro (for its typing feel, macro pad, and almost perfect layout), NuPhy Kick75 (it like a toy in the best possible way. Very fun look and feels and sounds nice to type on), and the Iqunix EZ63 (the adjustable actuation force and it's just the best HE board I've tried in terms of feel and sound). My 40% TH40 is a close contender for 3rd, but that's mostly for the layout. A 40% layout with a tri-split spacebar is ridiculously efficient once you get used to it. It was my fastest board to type on for a long time). I'd enjoy almost any other 40% for the same reasons I like that lol.
r/keyboards • Iqunix EZ63 review: A true Wooting competitor* ->You are simultaneously a lunatic and my hero lol. I have a Kick75, Halo75 V2, and Air60 V2 and have wondered about the Gem80, think I'll replace my Halo with a V2 if it ever comes out
r/NuPhy • My Nuphy keyboard collection ->Thats a great question I really like them all but since your asking what my top three are, here it goes. At number 3 the Kick 75, I actually won this one from a youtuber and on my bday which was cool. I didn't know what to expect from this keyboard because it was made of plastic but when I received the keyboard it didn't feel cheap at all in my opinion. It is well made and has some good weight to it. Mine is a high profile and came with red switches it feels really good to type on and the knob is very useful as I use it to higher or lower my music while working. I also love the retro look it adds a bit of fun to my workstation so I like to use it on Mondays lol. 2 Would have to be Halo 75v2 my first into to Nuphy keyboard. I had come from using razer products for almost 10 years but when they no longer supported mac I was on the search for a keyboard that gave me the excitement that Razer keyboards gave me at the time. I am a visual person so if something looks good it inspires me to want to be at my desk and create. So I don't just use them for gaming but for inspiration as well. it just sets the vibe if you will. So when I saw the black 75 v2 I had to have it. The keyboard looked so much more different then what I had been using and it really looked awesome when I set it on my desk. The feel of the typing was different then that of Razer, it just felt comfortable. It was more sensitive then I was used to but it was fine after a couple of days. The switches that I have in the Halo75v2 are Raspberry switches. The design of this keyboard is superb and the rbg on the bottom half of the keyboard come on its just awesome. 1 Gem 80 just when I thought I had experienced the most comfortable keyboard this was it. I really love the key caps and in combination with the lemon switch's its just bliss. This keyboard is built like a tank I also love the fact that you can make mods if you want to. A great intro into the building of mechanical keyboards if that's your thing. If you want to tinker around you can and it comes with everything you need to get a feel for it. Mine is in Obsidian Black this keyboard was specifically for my pc desk where I do digital art and game every now and then. It is the tri mode version so I can use it wirelessly blue tooth or wired. So fare this keyboard is my favorite at the moment. I know this is a little thing but having a dedicated button to lock the windows key has become such a help since I always hit the windows key every time I am using Photoshop, Affinity designer etc it has been a blessing. And then I can just click it back on when I need to.
r/NuPhy • My Nuphy keyboard collection ->Funny I am actually using my Air 75 he right now, but to answer your question I like it its a really nice keyboard. The keycaps and switches are nice it does feel different and familier at the same time if that makes any sense and im refering to the Air 75 v2 as far as layout and size. Nupy io is easy to use so you should be able to setup your activation point and other customizations you might want to do pretty easily, It is a solid low profile keyboard in my opinion. It is a wired only keyboard so thats something to consider as well. All in all it is a solid and versitial keyboard and it just looks so awesome .
r/NuPhy • My Nuphy keyboard collection ->I don't think that fits in your criteria in term of switch and/or size but I had a Nuphy wireless before and it worked with no issue at all (although the battery on it isn't great, had to charge it like every week, sometimes more). I've switched to an 8bitdo keyboard now, same, works no issue out of the box but this one has a beast of a battery...I think I've charged it maybe 4 times? And I bought it in october last year.
r/linux_gaming • Wireless Mechanical Keyboards ->MX keys mechanical is good if you want a low profile board. I tried nuphy and really wanted to like it but it wasn’t for me. Still would recommend, it was very high quality and a very nice keyboard, we just weren’t a match. My daily drivers now are a royal kludge S98 for my work computer, and their southpaw version L98 for my personal computer. The pros are it was the only mechanical southpaw I could find that was reasonably priced, cons are that it doesn’t play well with Mac’s.
r/macmini • What are some really good mechanical keyboards that you guys love using? ->For typing feel exclusively, the best is lofree flow. I am selling my Nuphy because of this despite the flaws with lofree.
r/NuPhy • Recomendation for Nuphy keyboard ->I think the Bluetooth connection isn’t great. That’s the major downfall and takes a while to wake up. So I end up having it wired the entire time and that’s fine for me. I still think it’s great. If you want a better overall version except it’s not aluminum then the kickstarter lite version is the one you should get.
