My first mechanical keyboard was Logitech G413 then Razer Blackwidow Lite but My first proper one was NuPhy Air75 v2 but I dissapointed by it because low profile actually not for me. Then I bought a Keychron Q3 and I love it. Still using it to this day. The only thing that I miss from the gaming keyboards that I had is their software which is capable to switch the profile automatically based on the opened apps/games. To similate that feature, now I use AutoHotKey but it's not as convenient as using their software.
I run Tenkeyless Razer Black Widow for Sc2 sometimes and I'm pleased, but I prefer a full
I do have a gaming PC, but I spend most of my time typing (working and studying from home), so I’m using most keys from 7-7pm. Perhaps the use-case also has something to do with the fatigue? Either way, my low-profile mechanical has been a godsend, I do like the Razer TKL, but I wish I could also get it with a similar profile instead of orange switches.
I like Corsair keyboards but I find razer black widow series to be better all around.
I second the black widow. Probably your best bet. Then get steel key caps.
Been my goto set since sc2 released. During beta though i was using an old, and tiny ps2 keyboard that was phenomenal and i doubt any other keyboard could beat in my eyes. Look for a smaller set of keys? Youll adjust to the bw quicker than you think, but as a recommendation, also get the naga so you dont have to move your keyboard hand all that much. It’s helped me fathoms over the years
I went from Razer Blackwidow, which is similar to your Ducky, to Wooting 80HE. The difference is night and day and the Wooting was irrefutably better. I had to mod mine for more tactile keys as it was hard for me to feel like I was hitting keys, but I've gotten used to it now. The default Wooting should honestly be universally satisfying for most keyboard preferences otherwise
Learned to play Zerg on a Blackwidow way back in the day still miss the black switches tbh. Heavy and clacky
all their mice work perfectly for me with zero issues. i had a blackwidow keyboard from them start double typing, which is apparently a known issue with them. i had a huntsman v2 mini from them that works perfectly after years of use. i recently got a deathstalker v2 pro tkl that works ok so far too. i've had two mechanical keyboards fail on me, one razer, one not, neither optical. so i don't know if it's a razer issue or just non-optical mechanical keyboards being unreliable
Razer Naga Trinity (wireless, mouse) and Razer Huntsman V2 (keyboard) what I’ve been using for a few years. Before that had a standard Razer Naga and the Razer Blackwidow keyboard. Razer key is on the price side (can often find decent deals on Amazon and other 3rd party vendors) but I’ve been gaming with Razer peripherals for like 20 years and never had any issues with anything, other than wear and tear.
