"Reason I went with the 75% is because it's hot-swappable, so in case it has faulty orange switches I can replace them."
"I changed the switches and stabilizers so that it feels and sounds better for me."
"But their BW V4 75% is a good keyboard if you want to dabble in customs with little fuss."

"Look for 75%, i feel its probably best key setup for sc2, as fkeys are closer than normal, but still have some space. ... Its looks like normal 75%? Which a lot of people prefer over tkl"

"my razer black widow that broke only a year and a half. ... The A key became unresponsive. ... It was actually the second one i got that had the same issue, but the first one lasted 4 years and one of those were during lockdown so i chalked it up heavy use. The second one broke within the two year warranty ... Razer sucks dont buy their stuff. ... I've had nothing but trouble with razer products, even straight out the box I've had issues a couple of times."

"Stay away from the orange tactile switches. Just google the BlackWidow v4 75%. You will find numerous articles with the exact same key double spamming issue."

"Razer "RMA Process" requires you to send in the defective one first before they sending out a replacement (their standard process). This would be my second time dealing with their customer support in regards to the exactly same keyboard"
"my 'L' key needs about 3 or 4 presses before it registers. ... im sending the bastard thing back to amazon"

"Even the linear switches will make noise when you bottom out so just get any version of that, throw away their default switches and replace them with dedicated silenced switches."

Stay away from the orange tactile switches. Just google the BlackWidow v4 75%. You will find numerous articles with the exact same key double spamming issue. Razer product was amazing before and it’s terrible now. If you want to save yourself a headache, I would branch out to other manufacturers. The headache is not worth it. Im in the middle of a process right now with the customer support team to replace a keyboard.
r/razer • Best black widow keyboard ? Or razer keyboard in general ->For the price you're paying they're pretty lackluster compared to what's out there. You can get a fully customizable, all aluminum, wireless keyboard for half of what Razer charges. NOW Razer is starting to incorporate customization into their keyboards but previously you'd just get plastic junk that wasn't fixable if something broke. You have to get your hands on a quality pre built to see what I'm talking about. Better feel, sound and build. The only thing Razer has is RGB. Personally I have a black widow v4 75% in my rotation but only because I got it for $90. I cannot imagine paying double that for this keyboard.
r/razer • Are razer keyboards bad or it’s just internet thing? ->If you want to go with Razer, go with the Blackwidow V4 75% that allows you to mod and swap out the switches!
r/keyboards • Keyboard recommendations ->i own both keychrons and razers. Also logitech gpro x and g915 TKL. Matter of the fact: software in keychrons has no issues and build quality is objectively better, specially in Q series of keychrons. If you want to get a keyboard and want something reliable, ready to go, well built and easily programmable, just get a keychron. Wooting/Logitech/Steelseries/Corsair/GenericComercialOrGamerBrand is just like razer level, not best in class Razer gets closer altough not there yet to best in class features in the last blackwidow v4 75% (asus also does great with Azoth boards) but the board has really low reliabilty, so not best in class at all. check out r/MechanicalKeyboards for advice, they will guide you to get something real good and it can easily be cheaper or cost the same as razer boards.
r/razer • What is razers best keyboard right now? ->I believe the Blackwidow V4 75% is Razer's only hotswap keyboard. Even the linear switches will make noise when you bottom out so just get any version of that, throw away their default switches and replace them with dedicated silenced switches. Something like Outemu Silent Peach or Akko Penguin switches are quite cheap, but there are lots of options from various manufacturers. Or if you want more choice, just get a VIA or QMK compatible keyboard. That gives you a ton of extra options and avoids the need to install any additional software.
r/razer • Keyboard recommendation - the most quiet out there ->https://preview.redd.it/mi8abu5mw5te1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b5bce01e57e91a2f7e52b111ade986542e8aa113 yes ma’am 🫡 mine is the Razer BlackWidow V4 75%! I changed the switches and stabilizers so that it feels and sounds better for me. I wanna invest on the white ver. of the wireless G502 mouse so that I can have white and pink setup.
r/GirlGamers • Show me your gaming keyboards right now! 😠🤭 ->Look for 75%, i feel its probably best key setup for sc2, as fkeys are closer than normal, but still have some space. I personally use blackwidow v4 75%, but i dont recommend it as switches are dogsht and started double clicking after few months, so i had to replace them. I know a lot of pros used glorious gmmk pro 75%.
r/starcraft • SC2 keyboard ->I have a Q14 Max (big brother Alice layout to your Q1) and the BW 75%. Razer has excellent RGB (if that matters to you) and gaming experience. Some users have key chattering. I don’t. Keychron has been pleasant to type on but I do have crazy key chattering from time to time. Razer customer support has been fantastic, Keychron frustrating. I’ve wasted hours troubleshooting and weeks back/forth with them. The monsgeek you were suggested appears to be a good alternative to Keychron, but no promises about their customer support either. Lemokey as they said is Keychron, so if you have a problem you’ll deal with their frustrating “support”. If you want best no fuss experience, Razer has been my go-to. People like to knock on them because most of their keyboards are mass produced, very little customization, and their laptops regularly fail due to cramming too much power hungry/thermally hot tech into a case that’s too poorly designed to compensate. But their BW V4 75% is a good keyboard if you want to dabble in customs with little fuss. The fact is my experience has been because Razer is a mass produced company they have the resources and staff to serve their customers if things go wrong. Keychron scaled their offerings faster than they can scale their support and fulfillment in my experience. If you want the most versatility for multi device use and have the ability to fix your own stuff when it goes wrong, or great reserves of patience, Keychron/Lemokey will be good.

r/MechanicalKeyboards • /r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer - September 12, 2025 ->The Blackwidow V4 Pro looks really solid and the Huntsman line is also really good. Depends on which kind of switch you want I guess. Huntsman has optical switches (clicky purple and linear red) and Blackwidow has mechanical switches (clicky green, linear yellow and orange tactiles). I have the Blackwidow V4 75% with orange tactiles and they feel amazing. Reason I went with the 75% is because it's hot-swappable, so in case it has faulty orange switches I can replace them.
r/razer • Best black widow keyboard ? Or razer keyboard in general ->I'm using the Razer Blackwidow V4 mechanical keyboard and it's great. It does have a number pad but is also loaded with great features that you'll want for gaming. It's a little pricy but well worth it
r/PcBuild • Help choosing a good gaming keyboard ->I have the Razer BlackWidow V4 and love it. Has 6 Macro keys and everything you would need in a good gaming keyboard
