Best as in most expensive is the blackwidow v4 pro 75% but yeah the v4 pro is the best mechanical and the huntsman v3 pro is their best optical. Both are great keyboards
r/razer • What is razers best keyboard right now? ->Best as in most expensive is the blackwidow v4 pro 75% but yeah the v4 pro is the best mechanical and the huntsman v3 pro is their best optical. Both are great keyboards
r/razer • What is razers best keyboard right now? ->I have tried most of them. Blackwidow V4 Pro 75% is king.
r/razer • What is the best razer keyboard? ->They suck, I hate mine. Paid $400+ AUD, I’m an absolute sucker. Got the Razer Blackwidow V4 Pro, keys are unresponsive at times, duplicates inputs, mushy feeling keys and the RGB lights don’t startup occasionally, have to unplug and replug it to the computer
r/razer • Are razer keyboards bad or it’s just internet thing? ->Ended up taking mine back and refunding, got the Blackwidow V4 Pro 75% instead and so far no issues. Had it for a few months now, keys feel way more premium too
r/razer • Are razer keyboards bad or it’s just internet thing? ->I like my blackwidow v4 pro with orange switches. It's not wireless but I don't understand why a gaming keyboard needs to be wireless, it's not like it's going to be used on a bus lol.
r/razer • What's the best wireless keyboard that Razer makes? ->i have a razer black widow v4 pro, not happy with it, tab button is going out on it and it will duplicate O at times.
r/buildapc • Best mechanical keyboard with numpad for work and gaming? ->Depends on what you want. Generally, avoid gaming brands: Razer (exception for the Blackwidow V4 75% regular and Pro, those are good), Steelseries (except the Apex Pro, maybe, but even then). If you genuinely want the best gaming keyboard you can get, get a Wooting. It's great quality, repairable, their support is amazing, and it's objectively the best for gaming. Look into Hall Effect switches to understand Wooting's advantages. Wootings are not wireless though. If you want something that sounds and feels good, and don't care about 1ms extra reponse time or Hall Effect switches, Keychron is probably your safest bet. They sound, feel and last 100x better than Logitech's junk and cost like 10$ extra. Their wireless is also great. Generally, though, the best thing you can do is buy a hotswap keyboard. Hotswap means you can swap out the switches at any point and therefore if they break, you can just get any new switches you want. It effectively makes a board last forever, unless you break the PCB. TL;DR: Look into Keychron for keyboards similar to Logitech in price, except they are objectively better in every way, and look into Wooting for the best keyboards mechanically, i.e. best reponse times, best switch design, best support, 100% most durable.
r/LogitechG • My verdict on the Logitech Gaming Keyboards ->I have owned a razer blackwidow v3 and now own the blackwidow v4 pro. The only issue i have had is with the blackwidow v3, the rotating function in top right of the keyboard stopped functioning as it should. With the blackwidow v4 pro, i have had no issues and i love it to bits hahah. Best keyboard ever
r/razer • Are razer keyboards bad or it’s just internet thing? ->The Blackwidow V4 Pro looks really solid and the Huntsman line is also really good. Depends on which kind of switch you want I guess. Huntsman has optical switches (clicky purple and linear red) and Blackwidow has mechanical switches (clicky green, linear yellow and orange tactiles). I have the Blackwidow V4 75% with orange tactiles and they feel amazing. Reason I went with the 75% is because it's hot-swappable, so in case it has faulty orange switches I can replace them.
r/razer • Best black widow keyboard ? Or razer keyboard in general ->I‘m happy with my blackwidow v4 pro. (Clicky)
r/razer • Which keyboard is the best. ->As I’m sitting on a playseat challenge, I have a Logitech k400 attached with Velcro. For general gaming I have a blackwidow v4 pro
r/hotas • What keyboard do you use? ->Agreed. Had one for 2 years and love all the extra buttons and knobs and such. 250 pretty expensive for a keyboard imo but it was worth it tbh
r/razer • What is razers best keyboard right now? ->I have a Q14 Max (big brother Alice layout to your Q1) and the BW 75%. Razer has excellent RGB (if that matters to you) and gaming experience. Some users have key chattering. I don’t. Keychron has been pleasant to type on but I do have crazy key chattering from time to time. Razer customer support has been fantastic, Keychron frustrating. I’ve wasted hours troubleshooting and weeks back/forth with them. The monsgeek you were suggested appears to be a good alternative to Keychron, but no promises about their customer support either. Lemokey as they said is Keychron, so if you have a problem you’ll deal with their frustrating “support”. If you want best no fuss experience, Razer has been my go-to. People like to knock on them because most of their keyboards are mass produced, very little customization, and their laptops regularly fail due to cramming too much power hungry/thermally hot tech into a case that’s too poorly designed to compensate. But their BW V4 75% is a good keyboard if you want to dabble in customs with little fuss. The fact is my experience has been because Razer is a mass produced company they have the resources and staff to serve their customers if things go wrong. Keychron scaled their offerings faster than they can scale their support and fulfillment in my experience. If you want the most versatility for multi device use and have the ability to fix your own stuff when it goes wrong, or great reserves of patience, Keychron/Lemokey will be good.

r/razer • Really want to buy Razer BlackWidow V4 but seen bad reviews ->New batches are fixed, so no more double clicking.
r/razer • Really want to buy Razer BlackWidow V4 but seen bad reviews ->I’d recommend the Razer Blackwidow V4
r/razer • What is razers best keyboard right now? ->The pro was absolute garbage double typing all the time. Got the regular one with the louder clicking and it’s great
r/razer • Really want to buy Razer BlackWidow V4 but seen bad reviews ->I have this keyboard and love it I've had no issue whatsoever not even a single double click
r/razer • Really want to buy Razer BlackWidow V4 but seen bad reviews ->I had a black widow key board in the past but ended up getting wet. Which is the end black widow keyboard ? More of a fan of the 100% keyboards
r/razer • Best black widow keyboard ? Or razer keyboard in general ->That’s what had happened with my keyboard it would ghost type but I had dropped water on it prior , what other brands are you looking into or you’re sticking with your black widow v4
r/razer • Best black widow keyboard ? Or razer keyboard in general ->I will more than likely be trying a Logitech . Fell in love with the black widow I had but I will try a different brand 🙏
r/razer • Best black widow keyboard ? Or razer keyboard in general ->I used to have a Razor Blackwidow keyboard as well. Then I switched to Alienware. Definitely want to go with CORSAIR next, and I was thinking K100 also! Thanks for sharing your experience with it.
r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->I like Corsair keyboards but I find razer black widow series to be better all around.
r/Corsair • Keyboards ->Been my goto set since sc2 released. During beta though i was using an old, and tiny ps2 keyboard that was phenomenal and i doubt any other keyboard could beat in my eyes. Look for a smaller set of keys? Youll adjust to the bw quicker than you think, but as a recommendation, also get the naga so you dont have to move your keyboard hand all that much. It’s helped me fathoms over the years
r/starcraft2 • Keyboard for Zerg! ->Learned to play Zerg on a Blackwidow way back in the day still miss the black switches tbh. Heavy and clacky
r/starcraft2 • Keyboard for Zerg! ->ironically i am typing this from my razer black widow that i've had for a whole year and one month, whose a key and spacebar refuse to work consistently even when firmly pressed, after searching for a new keyboard to buy. it's driving me insane...................
r/HyperX • Is HyperX Alloy Origins Core Mechanical Keyboard Is it still good option in end 2024 and good for longevity & long use and good keys? ->Had a Blackwidow and a Huntsman Analog Mini The Blackwidow had switch failure where a switch would not properly depress. The metal leaf contact inside the switch had shorn off, IDK how that’s even possible given the box-style switch they use, but having the metal leaf flake off and interfere with the spring is frustrating, especially since opening the damn thing to repair it is such a chore. The Huntsman’s stabilizer clips looked particularly shoddy, lots of flashing on the plastic, really finnicky to reassemble, I wasn’t confident in using it. I have a particularly heavy hand especially when gaming, I have a tendency to piano roll keys, and the stabs would not have held up if they were moulded incorrectly. When a $28 Royal Kludge bottom of the barrel mechanical keyboard has a better stabilizer than the Huntsman Mini, which is more than double the price, something is wrong.
r/razer • Are razer keyboards bad or it’s just internet thing? ->Hey guys, maybe someone could give me a suggestion on what to get, I'm at a bit of a loss here. I have had a Razer blackwidow for many years now, but it's starting to fail me. Sadly, there is no current version with the Portuguese (Portugal) layout. I have come to get used to the green switches, so I'd probably like something similar... Any ideas?
r/MechanicalKeyboards • /r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer - September 25, 2025 ->2 days ago i got a razer blackwidow keyboard too. and yes my 'L' key needs about 3 or 4 presses before it registers. im sending the bastard thing back to amazon
r/razer • Are razer keyboards bad or it’s just internet thing? ->The difference is very minimal I had my blackwidow finally give out after like 8 years and used some random ancient logitech membrane keyboard for a month before just grabbing a new keyboard
r/buildapc • Are mechanical keyboards actually better for gaming? ->I just got one recently and am enjoying it so far compared to my razer black widow that broke only a year and a half. The linear keys feel nice and smooth to press and arent too loud but im still getting used to not having the click and the same feedback from the razer. But doesnt have switchable keys for that longevity. For long game sessions the keys arent taxing to press at all. If getting keys you like and longevity out of a keyboard is most important to you i think getting a custom keyboard is a better fit, so if a key does die you can just switch it out. But for its price point its a pretty nice keyboard If you dont wanna deal with the hassle of getting a custom one
r/HyperX • Is HyperX Alloy Origins Core Mechanical Keyboard Is it still good option in end 2024 and good for longevity & long use and good keys? ->The A key became unresponsive. It was actually the second one i got that had the same issue, but the first one lasted 4 years and one of those were during lockdown so i chalked it up heavy use. The second one broke within the two year warranty so i replaced it with the hyper x alloy. Razer sucks dont buy their stuff.
r/HyperX • Is HyperX Alloy Origins Core Mechanical Keyboard Is it still good option in end 2024 and good for longevity & long use and good keys? ->It should be covered by warranty then. Get it replaced, preferably by a new keyboard brand if you can. I've had nothing but trouble with razer products, even straight out the box I've had issues a couple of times. Honestly get a keyboard with hot swappable switches if you intend to use it for a long time or even build one yourself if you're interested in that. Either way you can replace switches as they fail and get switches that suit you best If you don't want that hassle I'm still using the hyper x keyboard above and enjoying it so far. The big plus for it is that it's so much easier to clean with a can of compressed air. The rgb looks better to me too if you're into that stuff. But saying that I've only had it for 6 months now so I still don't know the longevity of it yet. It seems like people are having issues after a couple years on average
