Bluetooth, 2.4GHz Wireless Dongle and direct USB. There is a 3 way switch at the back.

I used this exact one for a couple months while deployed. Helldivers when I could find a wifi connection, Doom and half life 2 when I couldn't. It worked fantastic! Still have it for when I travel. It has a passthrough for a mouse too, so you can use it with a single USB dock like the genki covert dock.

I got one (2 actually) and I really love it, that's my dedicated gaming keyboard, it's perfect for me. Good bang for your buck.

I bought this for my steam deck along with a wireless ball mouse in order to be able to game in bed. Works great!

I use a lower end version of this for work, and I occasionally hooked it up to a dock and did use it on the Deck. Worked pretty good and I got my version for like $25.

I enjoyed my time with one of these, but dont expect a good quality keyboard.

I have one that works great, Reddragon K585 PRO. You can Bluetooth or use the dongle it comes with.

Mine is wireless, I’d have to look and see if they have a wired version. I use it in bed while my deck is on the dock when I wanna use mouse and keyboard

Literally came here to say this. I have this and the mouse. Works perfectly! I have a cheap lap desk I use with it. For just trying out redragon has a left half of a keyboard that would be a great way to try the concept for cheap. I think it's called the redragon k585, I used one when I was really into fps games and wanted as much mousepad space as possible in a super limited amount of space on the keyboard mouse tray.
