Just about any mechanical keyboard where you can replace the switches will last a long time, even a $40 Redragon. Biggest thing is just don't spill liquids on it. Because if liquids get inside the case and down to the circuit board, it may be game over. I have two mechanical keyboards, an HP Omen that's several years old, and a newer Redragon Surara full size. The newer Redragon keyboards will take switches other than Outemu. And the model I have has programmable RGB, and the FN key allows for volume control, etc by using the top row F keys.
r/BuyItForLife • Mechanical gaming keyboard that will last? ->Appreciate the help! My knowledge on keyboards still isn't that great. I did a shit ton of research when I bought my Redragon K582, and it has served me well for the past 2 years. I upgraded the garbage Outemu Reds to some Akko Jelly Blacks around 1½ years ago, but I've been a bit tired of it for a while so I decided to look for something more premium. I've wanted to try tactiles, but just haven't been able to get any. The Epomaker RT100 has caught my eye and I loved it ever since I saw it. I don't know why, but I've always gone back to it. I said "fuck it" and placed an order for it with Gateron Yellows. My second option was the Epomaker x Feker Galaxy 80, but I still wasn't sold on a 75%. A big problem with me is that I need to make sure I'm making the best purchase possible. This leads to an endless cycle if overthinking which ends up in me wanting to smash my head on the wall. Every single thing I've bought, from my laptop to my keyboard, headphones, mouse, controller and obviously keyboard has been like that. I think there have been two major purchases where I knew what I wanted. That was the S23 Ultra when it launched, and the Sony WF XM4s. Every other tech product purchase is preceded by decision fatigue, which is why I decided to pull the trigger. I'm hoping it's a good purchase. Reviews seem decent enough, and honestly, I'm not insane about keyboards to the extent that I can hear minute differences in key presses made by changing the angle of ones chair or something stupid. I should get my board tomorrow (well today, it's 12am), and I'm super excited! This is where I wanted tactiles, but the RT100 is only available with linears on Amazon. I needed my purchase to be made on Amazon as that's the only customer service department I trust. One thing that pissed me off is the sheer volume of keyboards on the market. There's just so fucking many. It's so difficult to tell the difference! I wished reviewers made direct comparisons. "This keyboard is great but x keyboard at the same price is better" something like that. I liked the HE switches. I did look at the Wooting, but I'm just not that serious of a gamer, not am I that good haha. I needed heavy switches bc I'm shit at typing and have tons of mispresses. Apologies for the unstructured rant of a post haha!
r/DubaiGaming • Best keyboard under 400? ->Agreed. I own a redragon surara k582 (4000rs) keyboard which has swappable red keys.
r/IndianGaming • Is there a good mechanical Keyboard under 3K? ->You mean Redragon K582? or K552 with separate numpad
r/IndianGaming • Is there a good mechanical Keyboard under 3K? ->I have K582 and remember something really bothering me about K551 which was there in K552 (but it has no numpad) so I spent extra and got K582 so I wouldn't recommend K551 over K582 But now personally I would get a K552 with a Separate Numpad on left as baar baar looking over at right and removing & readjusting right hand on mouse for optimal comfert feels annoying where I'm using Mouse with my right hand & need to type lot of numbers many times. Personally Now I'm into Southpaw KBs now
r/IndianGaming • Is there a good mechanical Keyboard under 3K? ->There was also some other issue that made me not go with it I Think Edit:I remembered, Rainbow one had No RGB customisation and RGB one was only available with Blue switches so I got K582 as it had both of those and a better build & Anti-Slip Feets
r/IndianGaming • Is there a good mechanical Keyboard under 3K? ->
