I know Redragon doesn’t have the best reputation among enthusiasts, mostly because their releases over the past few years weren’t great. Still, I picked up the K708 Pro for 80 bucks yesterday and...I’m genuinely impressed. It’s factory-lubed, sounds deep and thocky, has multiple foam layers, and uses a gasket mount with a nice amount of flex. The RGB is on the dimmer side and the software is okayish. The keycaps are decent for a budget gaming board though. For the sake of comparison, I have recently tried the infamous K552 with outemu red switches at a friend's house and I got to say, it's really unpleasant to type on. So overall I think Redragon keyboards have come a long way since 2020 (The whole market has, really.) and for someone coming from an optical blue switch keyboard, the difference in sound and feel is night and day. The only tiny mod I did was put some foam around the stabs wire on the pcb, it helped reduce the spacebar clack by a lot and made it deeper. The video makes it sound really loud but it's much quieter in real life. Also inb4 someone asks why not get a keychron or Aula, the offerings are limited in Egypt, especially if you're on a budget and are trying to find a keeb with a knob.
