F99 pro side backlit variant for 8.5k would be the best bet imo - Has double the battery capacity of the F99 with opaque keycaps worth 7k. Pro also comes with a knob. Alternatively there is a "7 day manufacturing defect warranty only" RK S98 on Genesis pc for 6.4k. Comes with a LCD screen and knob. I got a similar unit from stacksKB for 4.2k a month ago.
MX keys mechanical is good if you want a low profile board. I tried nuphy and really wanted to like it but it wasn’t for me. Still would recommend, it was very high quality and a very nice keyboard, we just weren’t a match. My daily drivers now are a royal kludge S98 for my work computer, and their southpaw version L98 for my personal computer. The pros are it was the only mechanical southpaw I could find that was reasonably priced, cons are that it doesn’t play well with Mac’s.
I really like my Royal Kludge mechanical keyboard. Can’t remember the model number but it feels nice!
I think it was an S98, but I imagine their whole line is pretty nicely made to be honest. I don’t think I have a bad thing to say about the S98.
Pasok naman halos sa description mo si [**MCHOSE G98 V2**](https://s.shopee.ph/7KmeEF1HRP)**.** * 98% layout (almost 100) * with physical volume knob (tho ibang style) * Clicky tone crisp * tri-mode connection * RGB/multiple lightning modes * Price is around 3-4k Also, si [**ROYAL KLUDGE S98**](https://s.shopee.ph/AA6phFCjcg) * 98% keyboard din ito like MChose * Yung knob talaga niya is nasa gilid * May LED screen din which is also very useful * Trimode * With Blue Switch Variant as well * Trimode connection siya * Less than 4k price Affiliate link indicated pala https://preview.redd.it/gsylse7wtxhf1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3f2be159ba8bcaf56f6c3a53584cde2f89bae288
I had a rks98 for a year, great experience. I bought an aula f75 max recently, again great experience but sounds a bit better. I can recommend these two
I had similar thoughts when I built my PC, ended up with a royal kludge and haven't looked back, first one died on me, drink spilled on it not by me. Immediately ordered a second one it is worth the $80 and I don't see any reason to spend more for a full mechanical keyboard
I had a rk years ago and it was fine, until a key failed. I have a keychron now and love it. But I'm also not a small keyboard person. For the price it will probably work fine for a few years, but also probably good for someone who wanted to try 60% and see how they like it.
Razer keyboards hot trash. RK royal kludge is a much better option.
Looking for very specific keyboard. My original razer black widow broke on me. Looking for a 75%. I tried these 3 keyboards and they are all missing one thing. Epomaker aula F-75 basically perfect just sounds kinda like shit. Epomaker HE80 sounds great but the lighting is very dim. RK royal kludge- the function keys are just too close to the letters and it triggers me. Looking for 75%, very bright RGB, sounds good, and specifically has the delete key in the upper right hand portion of the screen. A lot of keyboards have the pause break in the upper right, and my game I play doesn’t allow me to change that keybind. so I need the upper right hand key to be delete preferably, or I guess if I had to anything other than pause/break.
no way aula is better than royal kudge I own both and build battery keys each and everything is way superior in royal kudge Aula is way overhyped imo
