When you have a budget that low, you're not going to get anything other than "mostly crap" when it comes to a mechanical keyboard. If you want something good, save up more money. If you can't save up another $50-$100, having a good mechanical keyboard should not be a priority. Go to amazon and look for "SteelSeries Apex 3 RGB Gaming Keyboard". There's some on sale right now for $35 which is within your budget, but it's a 100% keyboard, not 75. There's also "Apex 3 TKL RGB Gaming Keyboard" which is $42 right now. It's got 87 keys. so everything but the number pad. Trust me, I've looked around. For what you want, you're going to need a higher budget. Of course, i was personally looking for wireless and a full keyboard because i need it for my workflow in a bunch of different programs and games. I also found out I hated switches with light acuation and loud sounds, so I had to buy silent linear switches and heavy springs to make them heavier and less sensitive...and I wanted good looking custom keys. Excluding the custom keys, I probably spent about $250 getting what I wanted. But if you can just save up a little more money, some good brands where you can get something for like $70 to $80 would be Ducky. I haven't used them myself though. I've heard about being good quality. For your budget though, there's Red Dragon and Womier. I have Womier Keycaps, but I have no idea if their boards are any good. I see a 60% one for $25. The reviews look good, but the reviews for Red Dragon keyboards also look good. So if you're willing to take a chance, there you go.
r/buildapc • Best cheap mechanical keyboards? ->Honestly, they're all pretty good, its all about custom preference for the most part, most keyboards from reputable retailers have been reliable and reasonably well made,I've had dozens over the years from corsair steel series and Logitech. Other than features, I see very little difference in switch quality from a $50 keyboard to a $150 one. Right now I'm using a steel series apex 3(~$40usd), technically doesn't even have mechanical switches, but the feels pretty good, I bought it because it was slightly waterproof rated, and I have a bad habit of spilling drinks on my keyboard, it's been great for that purpose, while still maintaining a "gaming feel" with responsive key presses and a low latency.
r/keyboards • Good budget gaming keyboard ->I run a wired keyboard and a wireless mouse. I went with a Steelseries Apex 3 and a RedDragon M913 Impact Elite. Works great.
r/ArmaReforger • Any recommendations for keyboard and mouse for an Xbox player? ->I used to only buy Logitech, but the G910 was a major disappointment. After a few years, it started double typing and nothing ever prevented it. I replaced it with a Steelseries Apex 3, which costs a third and still performs excellently. We‘ll see how it holds up, but even if it only makes it to 3 years, it‘ll be cheaper than the Logicrap. „But the Apex 3 is not mechanical“, you will say. So? I notice no difference. Except that it‘s quiet. Really, really quiet.
r/buildapc • Looking for a good keyboard ->SteelSeries Apex. It's big AF and I like it.
r/buildapc • What are you go to Keyboards? ->I have been really pleased with mine for about 2 years. Then it started to go bad (bad led and key getting stuck), and Steelseries support has been absolutely awful. I’ll wait for it to definitely die then I switching to another one.
r/buildapc • What are you go to Keyboards? ->I've literally just swapped out my 80HE for a Lemokey P1 HE and couldn't be happier. On paper the 80HE has better raw performance , but there's zero difference to me. I wanted one keyboard to do everything, and I hated typing on the Wooting. Not to mention the build quality is just terrible. I've also used a Razor Huntsman V3 Pro and hated the typing on that too. Steelseries Apex was pretty good, but again, just wasn't it and I hated the looks. The P1 has so far been the best all round keyboard I've ever used. Some might be better in certain areas, but they're nowhere near as well rounded. It's also the best typing feel on a HE keyboard I've ever used, and beats out 98% of mechanicals I've had.
r/keyboards • I want to buy a 75% keyboard for competitive gaming ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
