I have liked logitech for so many years. I still like their mice but everything else has honestly become more and more of a let down. I owned a g933 which was great for a long time but after a few years it became really bad with the power switch messing up the audio balance. Mic arm started breaking (sure you could argue normal wear and tear but it's an expensive headset). I also owned 2x g910v2 keyboard, had to get another one because I broke the spacebar by accident. Idk if it's the keyboard or just software but it started to not register keypresses or sometimes it instead doublepressed keys. Messed up so many things when typing and gaming. Headset wise I was happy when they announced the g935 and tried it for a day before returning it. Sound was terrible, with surround sound on (which I like using) everything was literally just bass and shooting awp in csgo was insane, the bass lingered for so long because it was so loud. Couldn't hear footsteps etc. My friend still use the headset and the promised feature of fixing the g933s problems... well the problems still persist. The power switch is messing up his g935 just like the g933. I must say, I still very much like their mice and that has been their strongest gear for many years imo. Rightnow its the g502 (hero? X? Lightspeed?) Cant remember which one rn but it's actually great. All my logitech mice has been great so I'm still gonna use them and buy new ones. For headset I UPGRADED and wanted to give JBL a shot. JBL has great sound generally so I decided to give their quantum 910 a try. Slight downgrade on mic actually but man is it so much better so far. The audio had a period of me having to get used to the difference but now I like it a lot. Software is just a bit buggy with connection but it's slowly being fixed with updates and had become less frequent. I very recently upgraded my keyboard too. Went from 910 to a steelseries apex pro with magnetic switches. Altough the software has a lot more going on in it making my first impression a bit "oh this is too much", I have gotten used to it too. The g910 romer-g switches did feel good but I can feel the steelseries "omnipoint" switches already being a lot better after getting used. I do miss the tactile feel tho. However the build quality is soooooo much better on the apex pro. TL;DR - Don't buy logitech products unless it's mice. They have messed up too much quality-wise and the only thing that are still reliable is their mice which has been their main thing for many years too.

SteelSeries worked for me... Apex Pro keyboard and Aerox 5 mouse....w Novo Pro. Their GG and Sonar worked well with little bloat, everything served a function (key actuation points were important for me).

Wooting or steelseries apex pro. Every other keyboard is a waste of money if you mainly play fps. I bought the apex pro about a year ago and I cannot stress the difference between this and classical mechanical keyboards enough. They feel like trash going back to.

I bought steel series apex 7 for my husband. He absolutely loves it. If you want cheaper, they also make apex 5. For more expensive apex pro where you can program the buttons.

As far as TKL format is considered, the Razer is about as good as it gets for now, its just not wireless, if thats not a dealbreaker for you, go for it. The Steelseries Apex Pro is also a pretty good keyboard and is wireless too but imo the quality and performance of the Razer is better. In other form factors you can look at wooting 60he, keychron Q1 HE and boog75. Those are all really good, its a very big nest once you start getting into keyboards so just tread carefully and try to find what works for you.

I have had the first gen steelseries apex pro.... the software is ruining it. Same with the two mice ive had and headset from steelseries. im never getting that brand again. High quality product with awfull software reliability. Shuts off / freezes if you didnt connect to wahtever random usb port it likes and the e and w sometimes gets stuck (software) and you need to unplug the keyboard... Now the screen has been acting weird for months and ive given up and just let it be

+1, both [Wooting Two HE](https://wooting.io/wooting-two-he) and [Razer Huntsman V3 Pro](https://www.razer.com/gb-en/gaming-keyboards/razer-huntsman-v3-pro/) are solid recommendations for gaming-focused boards. Other modern high-end full-size gaming boards I'd recommend are the SteelSeries Apex Pro (as you know!) and Corsair K70 Max. If you wanted something more focused on the typing experience and aesthetics, [Nuphy](https://nuphy.com/collections/keyboards?filter.p.m.custom.size=96%25), [Keychron](https://www.keychron.com/collections/all-keyboards?sort_by=manual&filter.p.tag=96%25+Layout&filter.p.tag=100%25+Layout) and [iQunix](https://iqunix.store/collections/f97-series) do some lovely keyboards, though I'd say that their smaller (non-numpad) keyboards are probably more interesting than their full-size ones.

Took me a bit to get used to coming from a Cherry MX brown keyboard. But it feels good. The omni point switches allow you to change the actuation point.

The trouble is that you're essentially wanting a cheaper Wooting. Wooting has the best software of any of the HE boards. The NJ98 (see the\_hat\_madder's list) has the rapid trigger feature, which is nice. The Apex Pro has slightly poor software (eg you can only set 1-10 levels for the actuation point). Because HE boards are relatively new and Wooting has been doing it the longest, their software is the best. So if you want all the features of a Wooting and good software, then you need to buy a Wooting. Otherwise you're going to have to compromise somewhere. AdrianHD80 has posted an excellent list of all the alternatives and you might be advised to go looking for reviews of each of them. Pay special attention to the software, because that's often the biggest sticking point - the Apex Pro is otherwise pretty good (though it's actually more expensive than a Wooting).

Who the hell recommends the Apex Pro ?? Was the worst one ever. Had to send it back asap. And the software is just atrocious.
