[https://www.reddit.com/r/keyboards/](https://www.reddit.com/r/keyboards/) Keyboards can go for $200+ easy if you do no-holds barred custom. For under $200 there's a lot of premade ones. You want to avoid the common name brands here like logitech, steelseries, corsair, razor, hyperx (and royal kludge(ciy) got lower quality now or were always bad?). Instead look for something like Aula, Akko, Monsgeek maybe epomaker or keychron(?) etc. I'm using tecware phantom+ wraith orange, but tkl and wouldn't say creamy so wouldn't recommend. If you do number entries for work a separate numpad may be useful. For your budget there's no reason not to get one with qmk/via/vial support unless you have no interest at all in macros/remapping. Depending on the board's support for it, you could get a good base and swap in the switches you like, and same for keycaps. monsgeek m1 v5 with swapped in akko penguins? just throwing that out there as example, no experience. aliexpress good place to buy.
r/keyboards has some nice info. using tecware phantom+ wraith orange, like it (better than the cherry mx blue full i'd been using for a decade), but would probably get a different one if had to choose again, one without floating keys and with qmk.
Really do like the Tecware Phantom
