U def need to give it a shot to decide urself. For me, it's a must. Being able to adjust ur actuation point and have snap tap(socd) are game changer in valorant (even in cs2 or pubg) For budget he keyboards, I would rec these rn: irok carrotmas mecury68/ mchose jet75/ mchose mix87/ vgn neon75 (pro version and above have 3 modes)
By gaming do you mean competitive fps? If yes, then suggesting some HE keebs (and TMR) 1. Irok MG68 Plus (specially for the quality of internals/PCB, same level as tier1 boards) (Wired) Great sound too, love it. 2. VGN Neon 75HE+ wired (or go 75HE Ultra for wireless, same switch), HE+ which is wired with lowest latency board and falls in top5 iirc 3. Skyloong gk68 mix TMR (10k mah battery) TMR means you can swap HE & mech switches on same keyboard, so use HE ones for WASD12345 and rest use mechanical for the sweet sound (Wireless) 4. **Anti-recommendation**: Don't fall for Mchose ace68 turbo just because of the looks; for the moment. Why? i) Being recalled in China due to firmware problems, ii) the aluminium casing has peel off issues. Firmware is fixable but case once produced needs stock clearance thats why you see it being sold for $115 on Mchose site + given more margin to retailer/vendors to clear stock.. Wait for things to be fixed after that it can be considered. I have it on my site too, but not recommending atm. Just cuz u have 12k budget doesn't mean you should throw away 12k xD, above boards are between 8k to 10k Irok MG series have wireless options too but I don't recommend at the moment, although Irok has been making insane keeb+mice with specs landing them in top3 w.r.t. latency but wait for iterations on mg wireless. Hope it helps. \---- All boards are available on my store (including Turbo but my recommendations are personal & unbiased) [https://www.xtro.gg/category/keyboards](https://www.xtro.gg/category/keyboards) Discord: [https://discord.gg/KQsqGMChgt](https://discord.gg/KQsqGMChgt)
I been searching this topic for a week. Tldr; when it comes to Hall Effect seems like hardware quality between low and high budget isnt the issue but rather software optimisation and which PCB they use. Seems like Wooting is the gold standard, then followed by Keychron/Lemokey and Nuphy. I was looking for wireless so my options were way slimmer, i pulled the trigger on the VGN Neon 75 ultra since they had 50% off. Now i know their older boards uses subpar pcb but some reddit user said their ultra uses Sparklink (although cant confirm until it arrives). At that price point and if wired is fine then maybe Wooting/Nuphy or Lemokey. If you want something low profile Keychron are doing kickstarter for a new HE keyboard that will ship on may if you back them. Or maybe make your own custom.
https://eyejokerdb.com/en/benchmarks/keyboard Make sure to filter by magnetic axis You can filter by whatever layout and price range you want as well. By default it's sorted by his rating category and secondarily sorted by latency. I'd recommend the tier 0 and flawless categories, there's definitely a good range of cheap to expensive He doesn't have every option, but way more than any other site that compares actual performance as well as being more accurate with his testing in general. He adds new ones quite often too Good ones for cheap is Mchose mix87, Irok MG 68+ and 75 max, VGN neon 75 he+, TFG Magnetox (if they ship to your country/if you want to use a Korean third party shipping website), and Preflow archon (same deal as with the magnetox) For higher priced ones, obviously you can't beat the venom he PCBs but you have to make a board for them since they are only PCBs, Raqqa is very good, Morkblade is very good, Chilkey is good and I really like the looks of some of their boards, Wooting is obviously good and has one of the best software (and has some good options for case swaps on AliExpress like the Holy case, bone case, gt case)
I'll give you the fact that they are lower than I remembered now, but they still aren't even in the top 10 for tested yet. Your (unsourced) claim of latency of 0.1mm doesn't mean anything when not compared to other boards tested using the exact same method. The biggest aggregation website on keyboard latency puts the best performing TMR at #15 overall with 0.16ms with an actual performance of 6k hz out of a possible total 8k, which drops its ranking even further I'm not sure why you think I'm the one making baseless "formations", as it's pretty well understood by people that follow keyboard latency that eyejokerdb is by far the best reference for these values, while you make claims with no sources. I'm also not sure why you think I'm being negative for stating factual information, or why you think I care about wooting, like where did that even come from lmao
VGN Neon HE goes anywhere from 50-100$ on AliExpress really good performance and features, nice aesthetics and sound if you don’t wanna trust a relatively no name brand then I’d say the Akko Tac75 HE is your best bet
