Something like a prebuilt Evo75/80 or wobkey boards like Zen65, Crush80 is fine.

best all around for 100-200 USD i would suggest the rainy 75 or the crush 80 both are made by wobkey. These I think most everyone would agree are the best sounding boards out of the box. they have a 1000k polling rates in wired connection mode which is good for gaming. If you are a serious gamer and need 8k and the absolute best the wooting 80 and wooting 60 seem to be the best oout there but there are probally some that are just as good and maybe alittle cheaper. Your post is a couple of months old so you probally have alread bought something. What did you get and how is it working out for you?

hardware-wise the crush 80 is solid. support-wise... yeah the rumors are true. if you're in the EU, dealing with return shipping to china is a nightmare if anything arrives broken. for 200 euros you have way safer bets that are just as good: **1. Neo80:** honestly the gold standard right now. you have to build it yourself but it’s easy and quality is insane. **2. Keychron Q3 Max:** boring answer but it just works. wireless, easy to get in EU, solid support. **3. IQUNIX Nature 80:** (biased mention, but if you want something that looks different than a standard rectangle, check it out). definitely skip that filco suggestion below though. legendary board in 2010, but ancient tech today

r/keyboards β€’ Asus rog azoth or some else keyboard? β†’

So like everyone here will say Asus, razer, corsair et.c. are extremely overpriced, you're paying on the Azoth 100 bucks for the brand, the screen is low quality, the nob is nice but like almost every kb maker has a nob that's equally good. Just look around a bit, you're never going to be looking at the screen anyway. Lycos area is honestly Eu boards and prices but like if wobkeys boards are similar prices in US it's a no-brainer get Rainy75 or Crush80 Reboot.

Always fun to just try something new. Build the collection. Lots of amazing options online. Ive tried them all and own an insane amount of keyboards and they all float around my office for all my staff to use and enjoy at my business. If you have some extra money - crush80 by wobkey is unreal. Low profile goes to Iqunix MQ80

1. Horribly overpriced for what they offer, get blown out of the water by Chinese and keyboard-specific brands. 4. You can leave it in place if you want to. However, extra mouse space -> you can lower your sensitivity -> better fps results, less chance of RSI and less shoulder strain. You can also dump it on the left and use the number pad and the mouse simultaneously when working, which is nice.

For magnetic switches - refer [here](https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vSsjTA29tUSQDgT_FWmvX2nHg17RLzCXdZnBV2pdAWO2SqJmzeNl9EQNc2Yw2Cy4kHjIBcDVVCUgErC/pub) for an extensive writeup and see for yourself from there. In my opinion, they are entirely unnecessary, unless you really want something like rapid trigger. They also really cut down on your available options in terms of keyboards. My first choice for magnetic keyboard would be Tiger Lite 80, but it requires assembling it yourself and buying switches and keycaps separately. For non-magnetic - something like Evo80/Crush80/Bridge75/Womier RD75 + keychron number pad would be good (and you can throw on matching keycaps or change switches if you want to) . Full-sized - Epomaker Galaxy 100, ND 104.

I just got into keyboards for real back in October. Before that I thought I had lucked into finding endgame when I stumbled across a used drevo blade master and a soldered, wired red switch anne pro 2. Now I have loads of different keyboards from unbranded toy keyboards up to the Mode Sonnet. And way too many switches to admit to. And I'm still learning. The best keyboard for under 100 that you can currently buy is the Bridge75. It's on pre-order at Divinikey and maybe other vendors like Drop. Wobkey is launching it's Kickstarter for the Zen65 on June 3rd. That looks to be even better. Other boards that are great but higher priced include the Crush80, Evo80, and anything from QwertyKeys. Keychrons are dependable work horses that come in a bajillion different form factors (check their website to get an idea of everything they offer). Getting a Q series or V series used is a great starter board for many. But they're more expensive than the Bridge75, even when used, so I usually don't recommend them. If you want a wireless Keychron, you have to make sure you get one that says "pro" or "Max" after the number.

About switches, there are three main types: linear (like the reds you have), clicky, and tactile (has a bump like the clicky but doesn't have the click sound). There are also silent switches that include silicon bumpers inside the switch to cancel noise. Most of these feel squashy or dampened. If you care about noise or working in a shared space, Silents are great. There are also switches with intentionally quieter sound profiles like the Gateron Mountain Tops that keep the noise down without feeling squashy. My personal favorite switches so far: HMX Clouds (linear) - so creamy sounding Gateron Quinns (tactile) - smooth and thocky (And also the stock switches that come with the Bridge75 standard, the Rainy75 Lite, and the Crush80 Beta Pro - all linears). The best budget switches are the Gateron Milky Yellow Pro V2s (they're a cult classic for a reason) and the Otemu Peach silent linear switches (these are also a cult classic). There are also optical switches and magnetic switches, but I avoid those like the plague because they require a magnetic or optical keyboard to work with them and they seem to be way crappier-feeling to type on. And they're also proprietary where they aren't compatible with all keyboards and you're locked into an ecosystem. Low Profile switches are similar. There's a little more variety available, switch-wise. But not all low profile switches and keyboards work with each other and the switches are more expensive than regular switches, and the typing experience is not as good compared to regular mechanical keyboards (unless you are specifically looking for a stiff, no-travel keypress experience).

r/keyboards β€’ Corsair k100 -> Crush 80. Crazy? β†’

The creamiest keyboards I've tried out of the box are the Kisnt and the Galaxy70 with Petal switches. But those are janky budget keyboards compared to the Crush80 and Bridge75. I'd recommend picking up some Milky Yellow Pros. Those are so thocky and so satisfying. Or Oil Kings if you want a deeper sound. Either of those sound great in any keyboard.

Crush80 and Evo80 are the best TKLs. They're both around 180. But you can get a Crush80 Beta for closer to 120 and the differences are minimal. Plus, the switches are quieter. If you want to go even smaller, the Bridge75 is the best 75%. It's at Divinikey for $85-120. And I personally think the PetBrick65 is the best 65% in its price range, despite the fuzzy cover gimmick (at least until the Zen65 is available for purchase). I got one Amazon for $99. You can also get fantastic build-it-yourself kits on QwertyKeys, but they tend to be $150+ with keycaps and switches sold separately. For fullsize, people usually recommend Keychron Q6 Max (decent but expensive), Monsgeek M5 (decent), QwertyKeys QK101 (pretty great and expensive). Budget fullsize recs commonly include Keychron V6 Max or Aula F108. Smaller budget recs are usually the Aula F75 or the Kisnt.

r/keyboards β€’ What are some good wired keyboards you guys recommend? β†’

This is not true anymore (in my opinion). Keychron definitely has the most layouts and the most international options, but they're not the best, and they're not cheap. QwertyKeys has a wide range of option in their DIY Keyboard kits. Their QK and Neo keyboards are much better than Keychron. Monsgeek is also good. And if you want good prebuilt keyboards, the Rainy75, Bridge75, Crush80, and Evo80 are all fantastic. And if you want a budget keyboard option, check out the Kisnt.

r/pcmasterrace β€’ Are mechanical keyboards still gamer choice? β†’
11 months ago

Silent Switch exist. There is way more choice that what you can find on garbage retailer \*Gaming\* brand. And now you want a Hall effect switch. And all mainstream gaming brand are garbage with it. The Good thing are with Wooting, Nuphy, Iquinix and Keychron on HE board now. And the great thing about all these brand is that they are all easy to mod for sound profile change and make them quieter. If you don't care about Hall effect then Wobkey have still the best sounding and quality for the price on the market with the Rainy75 and Crush80. Thier Hall effect board is a bit on the expensive side. Nuphy Field75HE is the most feature full and insane great value currently in the HE departement.
