Wooting, u could get a knock iff for cheaper but they just lowered the price of their original 60he plus u get an actually backed product that come with support from the company and actual good software that makes changing thing on ur keyboard to suit u a breeze I have both the v1 and v2 and regret nothing

Why wireless? For me, nothing but Wooting now. Optical is nice, i come from a K100 with Opticals, but they customizability if HE switches is something i dont want to miss ever again. 60HEv2 with Split spacebar is all i never knew i needed

Wooting, either the 80HE or 60HE v2. 4 year warranty, no need to download any software bc you can do everything in your browser, best customer service.

Wooting, either the 60HE v2 or 80HE (same performance, different layout). Most used on https://prosettings.net/ best software with 4-year warranty. You don’t even need to download anything because you can do everything on a browser. Highly recommend to change the switches to the Owlab Ti HE, sounds and feels better imo. The Wooting switches are 4.0mm but the Owlab Ti HE are 3.4mm. I didn’t think it would make a huge difference but it’s a game changer.

Personal preference when it comes to the keyboard performance because it's impossible for a human to notice the differences between latency but if you really want to know ([source](https://www.rtings.com/keyboard/tools/compare/razer-huntsman-v3-pro-mini-tkl-vs-wooting-80he/44990/49563#test_6756-)) the lower the number, the better - Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL Single-Key Latency: 3.4ms Wooting 80HE Single-Key Latency: 0.4ms The only downside of the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL is that the switches are not hot-swappable, the switches are soldered into the keyboard. The Wooting has hot-swappable switches and it's a lot easier to mod. Everything else, Wooting does so much better. One of the worst things about Razer and Logitech is their software, especially Synapse (Razer). It uses unnecessary amount of resources while running in the background (a bunch of Reddit post about how bad Synapse is and I've experienced it myself). With Wooting, like I mentioned in my previous comment, you can do everything on your browser. It won't make a huge difference if you have a good performance PC but if you're competitive and care about squeezing every FPS you can get, I would hate to have Synapse running in the background. You can check switch compatibility list here: [https://link.wooting.io/soundtests](https://link.wooting.io/soundtests)

Look into Wooting, 4 year warranty and you don’t have to download anything to use their software like most brands. You can just use your browser. Customer service and community is great.

[https://wooting.io/](https://wooting.io/) If rigidity is your main concern then opt for a metal case instead of the plastic. I'd recommend Wooting kbs to anyone, they're the endgame for me.

With plastic you're almost always going to have some flex. The metal cases are robust enough to withstand pretty much anything you're going to throw at it, they legitimately feel like solid ingots lol. Another thing with Wooting is that their software is all web-based so you don't have to install anything to customize it. Hot-swappable so you can replace any switches that go bad.

Well shipping is a problem for both to be honest. Assuming you're American, they both will take a few weeks. Nuphy is based in China and ships from China, and Wooting is based in Europe, shipping from Europe. There is no quick shipping if buying directly from either of them. (Except the wooting 60he V2. They have a warehouse in the U.S., but it is only for that board, not the 80he which sounds like the layout you want.) As for buying different switches? There are hundreds of them out there. I personally have tried the geon raw, gateron jade, durock rock he, phylina lightning, and both weights of the lekker switches. If you don't want to go searching through a bunch of reviews to find what you may or may not like, just stick with the ones it comes with. You can always swap them out later if you want.

best advice here. Go for spark link based keyboards/pcbs or mm studios. venom and rakka are great too. All significantly better than Wooting.

in terms of performance? Sparklink's 480 and newer dual chip solution all beat wooting 60he v2 both according to laobaozi and eyejoker. You can find sparklink 480 prebuilts for as low as 60$ with a plastic case and keycaps (IROK ND63 Ultra) and alu prebuilts starting at 70-80$ (IROK MG68 Plus). You can find many prebuilts which are cheaper and better than wooting 60he v2. You can find Keyverse ST63 for like 400-500yuan which is a clone of sparklink's dual mcu + adc direct connect solution and for the price it is absolutely insane and it comes with alu case too. You will find it in top 5 of any HE keyboard list. I don't know if keyverse is making any money on it tbh considering how they don't want to come international. It's literally half the price of any keyboard using sparklink's dual mcu solution. Totally agreed wooting's UI is nice but sparklink offers open source SDK so a person can make their own web driver (if they really want but the stock one works perfectly fine). I personally value performance more than UI of web driver. I had a couple RongYuan boards lying around, and I hated their web driver (qmk.top) so I made my own with nice UI. Split space is a great thing to have depending on the person. I personally don't feel it's worth buying an extremely overpriced wooting for it though, maybe for you/others it's worth it.

yes both I mentioned are better than wooting in terms of performance, sound/typing feel and build quality. Wooting has superior software but since you don't need features like gamepad emulation and on board profile switch key it shouldn't really matter to you. Features like changing actuation, rapid trigger, DKS, SOCD etc.. are all present. As I said, a cheaper option would be ND63 Ultra for 6.3k which has the same performance as MG68 Plus but uses a plastic case. There are other cheaper options too but I would still suggest to increase your budget to 6.3k and get ND63 Ultra over them. Yes IROK is not famous internationally but they make really high value for money HE keyboards. They don't do much advertisement internationally since they mainly target chinese market. Wooting is insanely over priced it makes absolutely 0 sense to get a Wooting keyboard. They are just famous internationally because they were the first ones to make HE keyboards and pros use their keyboards + a lot of advertisement and reviews on youtube. Wooting keyboards have not once come at top of any benchmark when compared to similarly priced keyboards. Right now I don't think there is any TMR keyboard which really matches performance of ND63 Ultra/MG68 Plus. TMR is mainly helpful in wireless keyboards since they consume significantly less power than HE sensors.

TMR and HE are just the type of sensors. Majority of the performance depends on the solution used. You can think of it as the brain of the keyboard. That determines the accuracy and latency. When I say worse performance I mean lower accuracy and higher latency. However these are in milliseconds. You won't be able to feel the difference in performance between MG68 Plus and GK68. Wireless obviously adds latency. So if you are looking for absolute performance, get ND63Ultra or MG68Plus. If you think wireless is needed then get GK68. Wireless is only useful when you are carrying the keyboard or use it with multiple devices. If you are carrying a keyboard, getting aluminium HE doesn't make sense because of weight. Why do you even need wireless in the first place? Don't say things like future proof or long term because those don't make sense, for long term wired is better. First find a proper reason that forces you to get a wireless keyboard.

what wooting has over other brands is software/web driver. Clean and fully functional with support for older products and frequent software updates. CS isn’t bad either. I think the only stock board that’s great from them and worth the hype is the 60HEv2, the rest are fine, maybe a tad overpriced. You can create cheaper custom boards that look and feel better to your personal taste.

>What do you guys think or recommend? Ignore overpriced crap like >SS APEX PRO or WOOTING 60he Wooting 80HE and 60HEv2 are slightly better options, but I still don't think they're worth it. You can start with \~$50 HE boards to understand if you like them or not. If you're going to get a new board anyway and ready to spend more, I can easily recommend Everglide SU75PRO (currently $110 on Keebforce). Not knowing the specific model of your current board is a problem. If it's something like the Aula F75 — it's already fast enough latency wise to play comfortably. RT is surely a good feature, but it won't make an astronomical difference. SOCD is forbidden on official Valve servers, so strafing relies purely on your skill.

A little strange, that you’re considering TKL and 60% at the same time. If you don’t mind ordering from AliExpress, take a look at Weikav K-ONE 80. Don’t even consider Steelseries or Razer, if you care about typing feel/sound. I can’t justify paying 200$ for plastic case Wooting too. iqunix boards are fine, but overpriced for what they offer compared to the competitors.

Yeah, if you don't want to deal with Ali, then just stick with Wooting. Chinese boards are way overpriced, when bought outside of Ali/Tao. Official sites are good example, when something like ATK EDGE 60/68 priced almost 100$ higher (shipping is also not included) on official site than on Taobao. https://preview.redd.it/q9sep5wvnpcf1.png?width=1505&format=png&auto=webp&s=e6f3cfd113b58c687a30c76381330f5ef7617f8f
