Wooting, u could get a knock iff for cheaper but they just lowered the price of their original 60he plus u get an actually backed product that come with support from the company and actual good software that makes changing thing on ur keyboard to suit u a breeze I have both the v1 and v2 and regret nothing
I've had a Wooting 60HE+ and a Wooting 80HE. I ended up selling both but now have a Luminkey Magger68. It cost me $75, has an aluminum case, all silicone dampening for far better sound, Gateron switches and is just as "fast" as either Wooting keyboards I had. Plus it has the 65% layout that I prefer (not 60% and not 80%). Wooting is overrated for their subpar product quality **by a mile**. Don't tell me that Luminkey has more spending power than Wooting to invest in quality manufacturing processes. The only positive about Wooting is their warranty at this point. Plenty of Chinese keyboards also have similar web interfaces that implement nearly identical setting adjustments as Wooting.
The first release had two versions, the Performance and Professional. The newer releases are Plus and Ultra. I know, it can get confusing. I have the Performance version. They vary by switch (Gateron White Pro or Gateron Jade Pro) and the bottom of the aluminum cases are different. Otherwise they are all identical AFAIK. Shipping was $10 for me from China. No tax either. So $85 for a high quality build HE keyboard that makes any Wooting feel like a toy.
I ended up swapping my case because I felt it was lacking but yeah, software wise they're the best hands down. Welcome to the wooting family 🙌
i wanted the silicone case with lower profile, so i went module 60he+ (refub) the case & tikken switches promo they had (free switches) added some nice pbt keycaps i allready had bought for another keyboard of mine (costed me 150e with shipping excluding the caps). for fps games you dont need anything larger. i said i would just plug it in when i play and keep my 75% for normal usage. but once you get used to the fn binds, which you can map them anyway u want + mod tap for alt usage of tap/hold i ended up using it 100%. vs the v2 i didnt care for 8k polling or the split space bar. so idk maybe check the 60he+ too if that makes sense for you.
Op1 8k v2 & Scyrox v8 | Artisan Zero Soft | Wooting 60h+ with Owlab TI switches
They are one of the best HE Switches right now, I am very happy, it comes factory lubed.
I paid 18499 and I had ordered from waimers so they managed the import and all
Waimers. It cost me around 18499.
My peak is immortal 3 peak, immortal 1 rn. I don't play much due to studies and all but yes this has been one of my dream keyboards and being finally able to afford it with my money is a dream come true
The build quality and the reputation of the brand honestly. And how much they listen to the community in terms of features and support.
