1. No, not even close. I think Razer has a much more modern full size keyboard. Maybe SteelSeries and Asus too. Check out the Wooting Two HE for the best actual performance (best rapid trigger, variable actuation distance, etc) 1. Are you sure you need a full size? Because most better options are smaller. I would recommend the Microsoft Bluetooth numpad paired with a Wooting 60HE or some other board that contains Hall Effect switches with Rapid Trigger. Look into Razer and Keychron. Wooting performs objectively the best, but I don't blame you if you feel like you need dedicated arrow keys.
r/LogitechG • Is the Logitech G815 the best option for full sized gaming keyboard? ->I'll chime in, I own a wooting 2 lekker edition and I would not recommend it for sound . If you're doing heavy gaming it's the best one on the list though. The monsgeek is a pretty good sounding hall effect keyboard, but if you're purely after sound, I would go for mechanical as hall effect keebs are just starting to find their stride in having good sounds. The keychron is really good and the best part with that one is that you can always hotswap out switches if you find a switch you like better. I don't have any personal experience with ducky, redragon or keydous.
r/keyboards • Looking for pre-built 100% mechanical keyboard creamy sound ->it is a gaming board. I'll add wooting two he as well, it's pretty decent, definitely better than anything logitech.
r/LogitechG • Is the Logitech G815 the best option for full sized gaming keyboard? ->I have the WOOTING HE2 and it’s fucking fantastic. It took some getting used to because the keys definitely feel different from regular mechanical keys, but not is my favourite. I love the thock the keys make and they feel really premium. The input speed is top of the line.
r/buildapc • Best Gaming Keyboard? Razer? Wooting? IQUNIX? ->I'm currently using the FinalMouse ULX and a Wooting Two HE. Big fans of both, though I also enjoy the Lamzu Atlantis Mini on the mouse side of things. For a mousepad, I'm using an Artisan Zero Soft pad
r/CompetitiveApex • What mouse, and keyboard are you using? ->+1, both [Wooting Two HE](https://wooting.io/wooting-two-he) and [Razer Huntsman V3 Pro](https://www.razer.com/gb-en/gaming-keyboards/razer-huntsman-v3-pro/) are solid recommendations for gaming-focused boards. Other modern high-end full-size gaming boards I'd recommend are the SteelSeries Apex Pro (as you know!) and Corsair K70 Max. If you wanted something more focused on the typing experience and aesthetics, [Nuphy](https://nuphy.com/collections/keyboards?filter.p.m.custom.size=96%25), [Keychron](https://www.keychron.com/collections/all-keyboards?sort_by=manual&filter.p.tag=96%25+Layout&filter.p.tag=100%25+Layout) and [iQunix](https://iqunix.store/collections/f97-series) do some lovely keyboards, though I'd say that their smaller (non-numpad) keyboards are probably more interesting than their full-size ones.
r/keyboards • Mechanical Keyboards Recommendations for gaming ->Wooting keyboard will help you a little with counter-strafing but actually doing it is still up to you. I've used cheap keyboards since forever and a few months ago i bought a G PRO X 60 which doesn't have rapid triggers and all that nice stuff that wooting has but it is a good keyboard, since buying this 'more expensive' keyboard i can land hard jumps more consistently like jumping from redroom on the edge towards heaven(on ancient), however i did not notice an improvement in counter-strafing (because i've played the game for a long time and i do it right without even thinking about it, leetify's always rating my counter strafing in the high 80 and most of the time around 90-95+). The only difference between the cheap keyboards i've used and the G PRO X 60 is that it's a little more responsive/faster and pressing multiple keys at once just feels more "accurate" (the latter reason is probably why i can hit the hard jumps more consistently) However, i do not recommend the G PRO X 60 because it's a little too expensive for what it has to offer, you can probably find a better keyboard for the same price as the G PRO X 60.
r/LearnCSGO • Importance of a good keyboard ->The best is a wootings type keyboard but tbh it doesn't matter for overwatch that much, it's mainly for personal enjoyment
r/OverwatchUniversity • Membrane keyboard or Mechanical Keyboard is best for OW Comp? ->Analog Keyboards if you're planning on playing anything but WoW Even besides that, the macro the multi-layer keybind possiblities of Wooting for example are endless, wouldn't trade mine for anything else Mice kinda different tho, if you plan on playing anything else (like shooters for example) think about maybe investing in two seperate mice, one for WoW and one for shooters - if all you're playing is WoW just go for the Scimitar or the Aerox
r/wow • Mouse and keyboard recommendations ->As someone who used a Wooting copycat and eventually got a Wooting anyway...just get a Wooting. Their support is unreal, and the keyboard just hits different.
r/Apexrollouts • Which keyboard is better for movement? ->Get a wooting. It's the only gaming keyboard worth buying.
r/keyboards • Recommendations for 65-80% gaming keyboard ->Wooting or steelseries apex pro. Every other keyboard is a waste of money if you mainly play fps. I bought the apex pro about a year ago and I cannot stress the difference between this and classical mechanical keyboards enough. They feel like trash going back to.
r/buildapc • What is the best gaming keyboard right now? ->final mouse ulx and wooting, perfect combo
r/CompetitiveApex • What mouse, and keyboard are you using? ->I’m so confused how “the market has so many options” the market does not have many cheaper options for the only features that actually help in tac FPS games. Razer has one now? It’s the Same price but without years of reviews so it’s uncertain and Wooting is reliable we all know it genuinely gives competitive advantage. If your to buy a keyboard and truly value performance over all else isn’t it like the only option? If you truly value performance over anything else. Rapid trigger with magnetic keys are the only thing about a keyboard that really gives you an advantage right? I’m unaware of anything else that could possibly matter than true performance, rapid trigger and reliability?
r/keyboards • Which keyboard to get for FPS gaming? ->Wait I’m confused I’m not a wooting fanboy I’ve just genuinely never encountered this argument? Anywhere I’ve ever looked at people who only speak about rapid trigger performance have always said get the wooting? What makes Wooting at all lesser in anyway than another brand of rapid trigger? Is there something I deadass don’t know? I’ve never seen another argument that could possibly matter so I’m genuinely lost? If you don’t care about sound or feel or looks, anything like that just the performance of my rapid trigger what keyboard is more reliable?
r/keyboards • Which keyboard to get for FPS gaming? ->120-160$ to insure you have the best possible keyboard on the market…. It’s the price of the highest performance mice…. A third or less of the price of the best monitors…. A tenth of the price of the top tier performance pc’s…. I just buy the damn keyboard and stop loookig for alternatives that COULD be equal
r/keyboards • Which keyboard to get for FPS gaming? ->The only complaints about wooting are like price, little customization, sound? Shitty plastic case for 160$ but nothing about performance or reliability
r/keyboards • Which keyboard to get for FPS gaming? ->Latency is a good argument thank you:) the first useful thing you’ve said. And yes all research points to wooting that I’ve ever seen. It’s the most tested customizable and incredibly reliable state of the art rapid trigger and that is all I care about. These other two you stated I just saw don’t even have consistent latency measurements by independent parties yet, unknown reliability. And way worse and less extensive software. Wooting is stilll yet to be dethroned. So you’re a moron.
r/keyboards • Which keyboard to get for FPS gaming? ->Hey bro this community autistic about key caps and sound, but they don't know anything about performance. The Corsair board with cherry mx speed silvers will be fastest, but it has some very high debounce settings and can't be configured.. If you care about performance, then wooting is the best. Not sure I can recommend a 2nd place, maybe atk68 for hall effect on a budget. You might check out gmmk2 or keychron v series with custom firmware for budget custom keyboards with traditional switches. Check my post on glorious sub for more info high performance qmk open source firmwares. If you don't want to build a keyboard or mess around with firmware flashing, then the Corsair is hard to beat at the price point. Look for open box too.
r/keyboards • Keyboard for less than 80 dollars? ->For work, I really enjoy the 1800 layout. I'm an engineer, so I need the num pad. For pleasure, 60%... But this is new for me. I was rocking a TKL at home until I got my wooting.
r/MechanicalKeyboards • Preferred keyboard size ->Go with wooting
r/keyboards • Recommendations on my first proper gaming keyboard ->I have a Wooting, I love it compared to the previous 3 SteelSeries keyboards I had/have. I do however think it's a little overpriced at the end of the day. I'd probably go with a Keycron HE today if I was shopping
r/steelseries • Best steelseries keyboard currently? ->Wooting he. Still the best performance you can get out of a gaming keyboard
r/keyboards • Looking for a new high-end gaming keyboard. ->Ah yes the rapid trigger and adjustable actuation points Me with a Wooting keyboard: so you’re a man of culture as well
r/keyboards • Are magnetic switches keyboards worth buying? ->If you want best, wooting is basicly only option
r/WootingKB • Best premium gaming keyboard? ->You can do it with wooting and you will have warranty...
r/keyboards • Which keyboard to get for FPS gaming? ->Well you pay less for no coverege of warranty and software can be stopped updating at any time because new model came out. While wooting supports all their products with same features
r/keyboards • Which keyboard to get for FPS gaming? ->Venom dosent have controller mode and dks. You can buy module with only pcb plate and stabs and use any case switches you want. Tho if you buy module u have most popular switches with discount already no need of lekkers. And wooting dosent need deadzone settings because it does auto calibration all the time
r/keyboards • Which keyboard to get for FPS gaming? ->Well you can make wooting sound creamy but you need pay little bit extra for mods
r/keyboards • 75% Aluminum gaming keyboard with creamy sounds ->Go wooting or keychron v max/q max series. Razer is overpriced and steelseries too. If the hall effect is really needed and don't want a wooting then keychron q he, nuphy field 75he and drunkdeer a75 exist
r/keyboards • Recommendations on my first proper gaming keyboard ->The trouble is that you're essentially wanting a cheaper Wooting. Wooting has the best software of any of the HE boards. The NJ98 (see the\_hat\_madder's list) has the rapid trigger feature, which is nice. The Apex Pro has slightly poor software (eg you can only set 1-10 levels for the actuation point). Because HE boards are relatively new and Wooting has been doing it the longest, their software is the best. So if you want all the features of a Wooting and good software, then you need to buy a Wooting. Otherwise you're going to have to compromise somewhere. AdrianHD80 has posted an excellent list of all the alternatives and you might be advised to go looking for reviews of each of them. Pay special attention to the software, because that's often the biggest sticking point - the Apex Pro is otherwise pretty good (though it's actually more expensive than a Wooting).
r/keyboards • Budget Hall-effect keyboard withe same features than Wooting? ->I’ve had a lot of keyboards and would say tactiles are nicest for typing, but I currently don’t have a single keyboard with tactiles. I currently main a wooting which feels great on Celeste.
r/celestegame • Which type of keyboard switches do you prefer for Celeste? ->Plz no razer keyboard 🫣. I would recommend the wooting as it is an amazing company. High quality products and it really gives u an competitive advantage.
r/keyboards • Need help finding a good gaming keyboard for my husband. ->For gaming specifically, wooting keyboards are the rage because they allow for insane straving. Depending on the game you play, it could allow for perfect counter straving and well it just makes you feel like a god and improves your movement. I think it’s a clear improvement in playing style and worth it for non-pros. The switches are configurable when they actuate. They are linear though. It’s up to you whether you are ok with it. Personally, if a switch is short travel and with soft actuation Im fine with typing on a linear switch as the bottoming out will be my ‘feedback’. You can combine a wooting keyboard with the gateron magnetic jade switch for example If you don’t want to go that route, based on what you wrote, the logitech g915 is probably made for you. The only downside I have with it is that it is micro usb, not usb c
r/keyboards • Any keyboard suggestions for programmin and non-competetive gaming? ->Wooting. The software alone is far above majority of the kb softwares out there. It can simulate even console controllers if you're into that. Actually I don't think any other software even comes close to the customization of it. The Hall Effects switches are nice. If your competitive I recommend it more. Personally. It's not that expensive for a keyboard. Especially with everything else going up in price, I think their price is more than justified. Is it for everyone? No. Im willing to bet majority of gamers don't need it.
r/keyboards • Which keyboard to get for FPS gaming? ->Wooting and Huntsman mini v3 pro are pretty much the same price at just below $200. I have a huntsman but just swapped over to a wooting and the build quality and software are just 100x better imo. Razer software is super annoying as a background process and comes as a lot of bloat (not to mention that they hard code lighting and some of the custom actuation profiles to be dependent on that software). On top of that, the switches and keycaps that come stock on razer feel super cheap and hollow, whereas the wooting feels a lot more premium. On top of that, wooting’s keyboard customization can be done 100% through a web-browser (no software download needed) and is designed much better. Lastly, and most importantly, the switches on the wooting are far more accurate for actuation point configurations. Razer uses optical sensors to detect key-press depth which isn’t super accurate and can lead to either too many or too little inputs when combined with rapid trigger. With this being the case, any key set to less than a 0.4 actuation point makes the keyboard kinda freak out, almost like it’s guessing what you’re inputting and not actually detecting it. Wooting has none of these issues and has been far better for me personally, I noticed an almost immediate difference in my gameplay.
r/Apexrollouts • Which keyboard is better for movement? ->I have two separate keyboards, one for gaming and one for work. Also have two separate mouse for the same reason. I really believe you should separate the two. Otherwise you'll have something that sort of works for each and never truly feel comfortable with what you're using. I have an ergonomic Logitech keyboard and the MX master 3s mouse for work. For gaming I use the ninjitsu Sora V2 mouse and the wooting keyboard
r/buildapc • Best mechanical keyboard with numpad for work and gaming? ->Wooting is a great performance keyboard, but it sounds/feels much worse than a traditional mechanical keyboard. It's not better or worse. It 's just about what you're looking for in a keyboard. We're still a long way away from HE keyboards that can also match mechanical keyboards in acoustics/typing feel.
r/MechanicalKeyboards • Basically All "Gaming Keyboards" from Corsair, Asus, Logitech, Razer These days ->I have a wooting, would recommend 100%
r/Brawlhalla • what keyboard should i buy that works best for brawlhalla ?? ->Best gaming keyboard seems to be a Wooting. A 4 year warranty tells me a lot about a company. What’s your budget? I just went from a steel series Apex Pro TKL Gen 2 to Keychron Q1 HE. Have a Wooting 80HE on the way so I’ll keep either the Wooting or Keychron. Steel Series is 100% going back. It felt good upgrading to the Steel Series but the Keychron is on another level.
r/steelseries • Best steelseries keyboard currently? ->Software, reliability, and brand name. When you play a game like CS2 and see that over 75% of pros use a Wooting or Razer, you’re more likely to purchase the same. Same logic behind Logitech GPX 2 Superlight. It’s $150+, dozens of mice with almost identical shape, faster sensors, lighter, better switches, half the price, but people continue to buy it because it’s Logitech, decent software, and used a ton by pros. Also one really nice thing about Wooting from my experience is their customer support and transparency.
r/keyboards • Which keyboard to get for FPS gaming? ->Wooting... For people that say, why get wooting when there are so many options. Wootility software is awesome and the keyboards are super solid. I tried another brand and you had to choose to enable one feature or the other, but couldn't have both and ultimately it was not as well developed software. I have an 80HE and love it.
r/keyboards • Which keyboard to get for FPS gaming? ->Buying Wooting in 2025, you really have to believe that HE provides something for the typical player, besides marketing slogans.
r/keyboards • 4 years of gaming with a 20€ Logitech Office keyboard ->Yes, I wouldn't have written it otherwise. For 99% of people, HE doesn't give anything, because it basically only helps in competetive games like CS or Fortnite. But if you don't play at a high level, it won't give much either, because the keyboard won't give a skill. In games other than FPS it doesn't give anything at all, because, for example, I play WoW, PoE, Diablo, various RPG games and in each game the HE effect is completely unnecessary, for example, in PoE turning on the gamepad simulation, changes the whole interface under the gamepad, so the game becomes completely unplayable, because the cursor disappears, the rapid trigger itself doesn't give anything either, because whether I press a key with an activation of 0.1ms or 4ms won't make me kill mobs faster. In racing games, it is cheaper to buy a gamepad, and if someone plays more professionally, he will buy steering wheels.
r/keyboards • 4 years of gaming with a 20€ Logitech Office keyboard ->Wooting and drunkdeer are good but not that popular
r/MechanicalKeyboards • Basically All "Gaming Keyboards" from Corsair, Asus, Logitech, Razer These days ->Wooting is your best choice for a gaming keyboard.
r/LogitechG • Is the Logitech G815 the best option for full sized gaming keyboard? ->Was gonna say, I recently made the switch from Razer to a Wooting keyboard and oh boy the difference is insane, I feel like I’m controlling my character in real time. I’m glad I made the switch.
r/razer • Which keyboard is the best. ->I really love the wooting products. They use linear switches with hall sensors, meaning that it is insane precise and the switches itself degrade slower than other switches (with the latter beeing less important, as keyboards tend to break down before the switches do, at least in a hot swap system). They have a 60, 80 and 100% profile, very nice optional software and a great customer support. I am not planning on ever buying a keyboard from a different company.
r/BuyItForLife • Mechanical gaming keyboard that will last? ->getting a wooting is always a good option, corsair also makes and HE keyboard now under the k75 tlk
r/keyboards • Looking for a new high-end gaming keyboard. ->I can't stand the huntsmen's sound or feel. It just feels like a cheap, rattly mess compared to my Wooting. However coming from a membrane, I could see it seeming like a huge upgrade. There are just so many better keyboards around the same price or cheaper.
r/razer • Which keyboard is the best. ->Why don't you get a wooting if you know how good it is
r/keyboards • I need suggestions for a new gaming keyboard. ->I recently bought a 2nd hand wooting and it’s been so good to use. Before that I was using a hi ground 65 and that was great too but the wooting feels so good for cs
r/keyboards • Which keyboard to get for FPS gaming? ->To an extent. I own an analog keyboard (Wooting) and I must say that Rapid Trigger makes a noticeable difference, feels a lot more responsive. Its not going to be the difference between being bad or good at the game tho.
r/LearnCSGO • Importance of a good keyboard ->If you're concerned about upgrading equipment, I'd recommend you focus on your mouse first unless you're totally happy with it. Keyboards are mostly preference, unless you have one that's broken or something. Besides that, like someone else mentioned, Wooting's keyboards (and other keyboards with technology similar to their Rapid Trigger) are the only ones which might actually give you some kind of advantage, unless you're playing with a bluetooth keyboard right now or something like that with absurd latency. Rapid Trigger basically makes it so as soon as you begin to lift your finger from a key, you can then use the input again, even if you haven't raised it past the actuation point. Basically the ideal setup for linear switches, I think if you play with tactile switches it would matter a little less. But yeah, definitely focus on your mouse first if you're looking for ways to improve your game and you're unhappy with your peripherals, or maybe your monitor if you're not already playing at 144hz or above.
r/OverwatchUniversity • Membrane keyboard or Mechanical Keyboard is best for OW Comp? ->For gaming specifically it would be anything capable of doing rapid trigger. Past that you can get into specific switches, key feel/sound, construction. For most PC gamers they will be using a headset and won’t be able to hear their keyboards. At most they will feel them if the keys are wobbly. The technology, like rapid trigger and now socd (though careful on where you use this) IS noticeable. As far as I know, Wooting is still the king of these kinds of keyboards.
r/buildapc • Best Gaming Keyboard? Razer? Wooting? IQUNIX? ->
