Yunzii al80 is good
I got a Yunzii AL80 about a month ago, and it feels/sounds very nice coming from a much cheaper made board, it has a screen and a knob, and is VIA compatible. So if you want those features, it might be worth it, though I would not recommend getting it at $100 or more. But i'm getting mine exchanged for a new one because in the past couple weeks i've noticed it repeatedly dis/reconnecting itself and having horribly laggy inputs occasionally, which really feels like a wireless defect but i don't use it a ton in wired mode so i'm not sure what the root cause is. If the new one starts having the same issue, i'd say avoid this board but I haven't gotten it yet so maybe i just got unlucky.
I pretty much agree with all your points SK75 TMR looks pretty solid though personally I didn't like it's sound but you do get support for HE so it depends if the OP is ready to compromise on sound a little bit for a competitive advantage. Rainy75 is solid but not worth 12-13k when market is filled with budget alu boards which sound very similar, deep and foamy. Some cheaper options would be GX87 Lite, available at NMPC for 9.2k. AL80 has a knob, screen available at both xtro and nmpc. A unique one is womier era75, it looks different from all the other keyboards in it's price. I personally only prefer compact layouts like 60/65 for gaming, so Nut65 or Lucky65 are great choices which you might like, available at URX. However 75% and TKL are pretty manageable too, it depends on the person. If you want a proper custom mechanical keyboard building experience, nothing beats Transition Lite TKL in this budget. It's a steal for this price, and it's my favourite under 10k. It's Wired but gives full build experience which you don't get at this price, and overall sounds fabulous. I would use this over any aluminium keyboard under 10k range (available in India), but others might have different opinions since sound is subjective. Available at neomacro. Brands to avoid would be RK, and "gaming" brands like razer logitech steelseries asus hyperx etc.. Also most keyboards these days use south facing LEDs, so you can only get side facing shine through keycaps instead of top facing shine through keycaps which you see in most gaming keyboards. thanks for the tag
GX87 series or AL80. I would go with GX87 because I like TKLs more and want a clean keyboard without knobs/screens with a bigger 8000mah battery but that's purely subjective since others might prefer a compact layout with features like knobs and screens
Been using the Yunzii AL80 as my main board at home and it’s been great so far, VIA compatible with Mac keycaps and a full aluminum case + screen. IMO the best part is the low front height of about 18mm, makes the board very very comfortable to use for hours on end! Sound-wise, it’s a bit on a high-pitched and loud side, but swap in some POM switches like my Gateron Sea Salt Smoothies and it has a richer, more low-pitched sound profile. A tape mod will also do a great job of making the board sound a lot more lively. Highly suggest you pick this up!
Yunzii al80, longer shipping time but worth the wait, and no customs or extra shipping cost
AL80 imo, Message [https://www.nmpc.in/](https://www.nmpc.in/) guy and say you can pay UPI direct w/o website he'll give you discount + same day dispatch. or tag that bitch here and let him see I recommend more than 5 customers to him just today.
My 3 recommendations are the starting cheapest first. -Hi 75, AL80, or Rainy 75. I have all 3 and love them equally.
I have both the wooting 60 he optimum, the yunzii AL80, and a custom zuoya GMK67 And in my opinion the Yunzii AL80 is my favourite out of the three and is less than 100€ on their website with free shipping It has an aluminium case, great stock sound (can be found on YouTube) and feel, has Tri-mode connectivity (Bluetooth, 2.4Ghz, Cable), it is a 75% keyboard, also very easy to customise, I like the keycaps I comes with but did change them out for PBTFans Crosshair keycaps, has a knob if you like that aswell Hall effect keyboards are good if you play really competitive games like valorant, csgo, fortnite or overwatch where you need the quickest response for movement, but it’s not a game changer that will make you amazing, but it is noticeable, but response on the AL80 is amazing for gaming The AL80 is an 75%, arrow keys, function keys but no numpad which I haven’t noticed affect my productivity with my keyboard and keeps the board smaller for my desk Only thing I dislike about the board is the LCD display on the right, just not to my liking and can’t remove it
In the market for my 1st mechanical. Tested a few keyboards at the shop and I liked the Yunzii AL80 the most. Any other options out there with a similar feel to the AL80 but without a screen?
Yunzii AL80 has its issues but id still recommend it at this budget.
