"Kinda shows how out-dated the Superlight 2 is and how little Logitech has innovated over the years when I'm comparing it to a $40 mouse, literally a 5th of the price. ... Over the first few days I had it I kept thinking to myself how tf is this thing $40 dollars? ... If you have $40 AUD to spend, I cannot recommend this mouse enough."

"Dirty cheap Chinese clone which is really good."

"little(49g)"

"50g (plus minus 2g, mine was 51g) ... I'd recommend the X3, the G304/G305 is 100ish grams heavy and most of the weight is focused on the rear, thanks to it needing a AA battery"

"Now the shape. Oh boy. The shape is perfect for my grip style. ... So the concaved mid-section of the X3 was perfect for my grip. ... For the first time I played full rounds without needing to micro-adjust my grip. ... In terms of shape, it’s definitely smaller than the GPX and with a thinner mid section. The hump is also a bit more forward leaning."

"The shape is perfect for my grip style. ... I use a rly aggressive claw grip with the centre of my palm shifted quite forward and my fingers almost vertical over M1 and M2. ... the concaved mid-section of the X3 was perfect for my grip. ... For the first time I played full rounds without needing to micro-adjust my grip."

"The coating on the X3 is better that the Superlight's coating. ... Had this for a week now, never have I ran into problems with grip issues due to sweat. I had to use grip tape on the Superlight bc of this issue."

"First thing that struck me was how good the build quality was. ... the casing had no creaking at all under pressure and was very, very solid. ... I can honestly say this mouse has better build quality than some established brands."

"X3 is sort of the definition of cheap but not high quality. ... maybe the X3 can be downgraded to "Cheap but not high" really ... Attack Shark mice just aren't all that reliable with multiple reports of failures and spotty connections. ... Attack Shark continues with its poor quality control."

"the reliability seems like it breaks after a few months or even weeks for some people"

"The skates that came with it out of the box are quite slow/sticky. ... I reckon it was the left over glue residue from the "peel-off" stickers that made them extra sluggish initially."

I think there's some clarification needed. The answer simply depends as there's different types of wireless connections. Bluetooth is not a good experience for gaming, but most wireless gaming mice don't use Bluetooth. They use their own adapters with their own connection system called something different between companies, but those wireless adapters should be as good if not better than their wired counterparts. So the answer is that a wireless connection is more than acceptable for a proper gaming experience as long as you buy the right product and not rely on some $15 Staples mouse. For a wireless mouse under $50, there are options like the Logitech G305 and the Attack Shark x3. Both will do just fine, but you'll have more and better options by increasing that budget to $100. \[Edited spelling\]

Here's a few 30$ or less solid mice all sub 60g. * Lethal LA-1: Original shape, good for all grip types, my personal favorite on this list. Lethals first attempt at aouse has a small flexing issue on the side, its unlikely to ever come up in regular usage, but caused them to drop the price. Its a solidly thin claw shape with a larger solid rear hump, basically a scaled up OP1 which feels great to use. * ATK X1: Viper V3 Pro clone shape, a larger hourglass with solid feelnfor any grip style and a good coating. It'll have a 3395 SE which is basically a 3311, perfectly fine in most cases just dont go above 1600 dpi. * ATK A9: Logitech G Pro Superlight clone shape. Larger potato shape great for all grip types though large for fingertip yet some still do. The A9 SE and normal A9 are 25$ and 30$ respectively though neither will have a coating and will have a 3311 ad 3395 SE. * VXE R1: X2 Medium clone shape, larger flatter sides great for all grip styles. No model sub 30$ will have a coating yet the normal R1 that is sub 30$ has a 3395. * Delux M600: Viper Mini clone shape, smaller and solid for fingertip and claw but a bit small for palm. Not sure the internals and harder to find with no coating but solid implementation on the model I got. * Phylina S450: HTS+ Clone shape, larger middle hump with hourglass shape and deeper curves, Great for all grip types though difficult to fingertip with its height. There's a chance the model you get wont have function software its a toss up, 3395 no matter the model. * Attackshark X3: Original hourglass shape, smaller than other mice solid for all grip types. Probably the worst QC on his list but the pro model isn't terrible. 3395 with a good implementation, the pro model is better but slightly more expensive closer to 35$, where yoy can find the original as low as 12$ at times. * Attackshark R1: Razer Deathadder V3 Mini shape clone, palm and claw. Really cheap at 16$ usually packing a 3311. * Metaphyuni P1: Exact shell as Attackshark R1, but better sensor at higher price can be found at 30$. * Metaphyuni P2: Zowie U2 clone shape, solid for claw and palm. Huge rear hump and flare makes it great for getting solid palm contact for a claw or palm grip, curves to aggressive for other options, gotta hunt for deals on that one. * ATK U2: Zowie U2 Clone shape unsurprisingly. Solid coating on all models, newer so harder to find good deals for but older sensors like a 3311 in the sub 30$ model. * Ajazz The Entire Company: Ajazz isn't the best quality. Ajazz isn't even good quality. They are lower range okay mice but offer an *extremely* wide variety of mice in different shapes (usually clones) for low prices. Those are all the ones that come to mind off the top of my head. There's certainly more like RAWM and other companies and if you just look up 3395 on Aliexpress you'll see shitloads. Keyboard wise you can get the Madlions Hall Effect Wooting clone for about 50$.

as a user of this mouse a fix i like to do is to remove the top and bottom skates but not the middle (on a hard mousepad like a wood table, glass mousepad, or hard mat) and it glides like butter

Here are some explanations about the TOP TIERS: * **Delux M900 Pro Ultralight 8K SET:** This mouse delivers great quality, featuring the second-best sensor on the market today and at a price you won’t find in any other 8K polling rate mouse currently available. * **Incott G23 Pro:** If we can even call it that, it’s literally a 3x cheaper copy of the Superlight 2. It has an extremely powerful sensor like the HERO 2 and only falls slightly behind the Superlight 2 in IPS and G-force. * **MCHOSE A7 Ultra:** Priced at a quarter of the Superlight 2, it offers a sensor that’s almost as powerful, losing out by just a bit. It has great build quality and excellent support. Personally, I preferred the Incott G23 Pro, but the MCHOSE is also extremely good (keep in mind both these mice have the same shape as the Superlight too, lol). * **Rapoo VT3 Pro:** This mouse isn’t as high-end as the last two but features the second-best sensor on the market right now, an 8K polling rate, and a charging dock-all at a very affordable price. If you want a truly HIGH-END mouse to compete even in FPS games, go for the Incott or the MCHOSE. If you want a cheaper option that still delivers extreme quality for more casual gamers, choose the M900 or the VT3-they’re both excellent picks. **Honorable mentions for entry-level mice that deliver what they promise for their price:** * AJ179 (loses points for build quality) * Attack Shark X11 * VXE R1 * Attack Shark X3 * Delux M900 Pro Ultralight * made this Tier List based on current AliExpress prices and what they deliver in terms of sensor and material quality.

I have the attack shark x3 it’s nice and light almost like my Logitech super light 2 just significantly cheaper and a tad smaller. The one linked above is translucent like the kick and has a decent sensor as well as priced well.

Honestly, I don't have much experience with smaller mice but I know there are a lot of Mini versions of popular models. Pulsar comes to mind, SS prime (wireless) mini, Zowie EC3. Those are esports-level, maybe it's overkill for a child.. :) I can also recommend some chinese mice like VXE R1, Attack shark X3(it's a smaller clone of GPX), Delux M600 and probably more, they are solid and more affordable (compared to A-brands) I guess you can start by choosing something with appropriate size and a safe shape, then help your son with DPI and sensitivity, so he is comfortable. Maybe start with an ambi shape, it's usually more universal than ergo

The Attack Shark x3 is essentially a smaller version of the G Pro Superlight—a 50g mouse with support for three modes—priced at just $25. The only downside is that the stock skates aren't the best, but the same can be said for flagship mice like the G Pro Superlight, which also comes with subpar default skates. However, you can always upgrade to high-quality X-raypad dots, depending on your preference (speed or control), and get an incredible mouse right out of the box for just $30.

honestly some budget logitech mouse with the hero sensor is your best bet between affordability and reliability. otherwise stuff from "attack shark" like the r1 or x3 on amazon is legitimately good, just a slight gamble with qc (tho you got amazon return window anyway). pretty well known in subredits like r/MouseReview

Attack shark X3 from AliExpress or wherever you find it at a good price. It's a copy of the Logitech super light and it's pretty good for the price tag of 20-30$.

The Attack Shark X3 was the first mouse that made me realize we're getting ripped off by some of the prices of Logitech and Razer mice. With the X3 and similar type mice you're getting 99% of what you get with a Logitech/Razer mouse at a fraction of the price.

It's good as a cheap brand, wouldn't buy their more expensive mices I've been using their X3 for 1.5 years, got it for 20$, the only issue I have is that sensor goes crazy when battery is below 10%, also QC is hit or miss
