mm731, intellimouse, delux m900, zpw max, ajazz aj179 - i also have “piano player” hands and personally i feel i can grip ergonomic mice a lot better than even really big ambidextrous mice the m900 is like 30-40€ on aliexpress, worth a try

r/MouseReviewLooking for a comfortable gaming mouse closest to a vertical mouse
3 months ago

I use computers extensively for work, and I daily Logitech Lift / MX Vertical. I use ergo-shaped, ~60g mice to play games for the last couple of years. I had been using mm731 and Xtrify M4 (3d printed RS4 with increased hump). I tried most common shapes out there with the help of 3D printing and found that: - An average ambi mouse twists my wrist too much, and I get fatigued very quickly. I mostly overlooked these. - I can't do an EC2-like shape with a low hump and long tail (mm731 included), not enough support. - I really like the angle of vertical mice. I can't game on them though due to the lack of control. Also, my copies are low spec and very heavy. I haven't tried the keychron gaming spec vertical mouse yet but even that's still 90g. - 17.5 x 9.5 hand. Usually palm or relaxed claw. I find Logitech Dex very comfortable at rest. (G703 shape is too filling on the other hand.) I tried a copy, but after a couple of sessions, the high-profile shape made my wrist bend upward too much, and again I felt fatigued quickly. - Xtrify M4 high hump is surprisingly comfortable pushing against my palm. I like that it's also the low profile for an ergo, but the buttons are mostly flat, so my wrist is still twisted like using an ambi mouse. So it seems like my hand got really picky over the years. It likes low profile, ergonomic shape with as much tilt as possible towards the vertical mice end, also a high hump that pushes against the palm. I don't think it exist. Something along the line of a dex mini, but tilted at 30 degrees. I play CS2, OW2, and BF6. I am not that serious but still want good performance while maximizing comfort. Any ideas on what I should look into that would better fit my needs? Can an ambi mouse be comfortable if it's the right shape? Edit: I have RAPOO VT3S and VT1 in the mail. These are low profile high ish hump ergo and Ambi that I have yet to fully try in practice. If they don’t work I’m out of ideas after this
