Corsair sabre v2 pro wireless. Thank me later
But its also like 63grams vs sabre’s 36 grams. 20€ more for like half the weight. Would never buy 60g mice since there is lowerr weight options avaible
Recently looking for new mouse and tried: Corsair Sabre V2 Pro, Lamzu Paro Aurora, Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed/ G502X and Razer Basilisk V3 pro. Corsair and Lamzu are excellent for kids or people with tiny hands. G Pro x is too symetrical, G502X too many buttons and weird shape. Razer did best but not perfect.
Well you're paying less for qorse sensor. The Corsair mouse comes with a 3950 sensor. The A950 air comes with a 3395 sensor. You can probably find that mouse with that sensor for $45-60 USD if you're buying directly from China (TaoBao, Jindong). The price honestly isn't too bad given that you're still going to get better customer service, than being told to kick rocks.
Corsair Sabre v2 pro recently became my favorite CS2 mouse.
I get a new mouse every other week, I have a problem.. current have a vxe r1 pro, Corsair sabre v2 and a deathadder v3 hyperspeed. Sabre is my favourite, r1 pro is surprisingly really good for the price, V3 hyperspeed is great too.
Mm I bought one recently, I really do like it .. except that I have the black one and it has no coating on it, my hands sweat sometimes and it feels slippery. If the mouse had a good rubbery coating on it, would be my end game. Its fine with the grips but ideally id rather not have to use them. I like the aesthetic without them but it's unusable to me without grips on it.
Yeah it feels great, I'm just concerned how long they'll last and when they need to be replaced. The mouse is amazing, just unfortunate it didn't have a nice grippy coating on it.
Because of the texture of the plastic, the mouse scratches SO easily compared to the other mice that I have, I’d definitely not buy it and get the hitscan hyperlight
Corsair sabre v2 is small enough, but is also just an overpriced copy of a Dareu A950 wing. My recommendations for small mice, in order: Mchose L7 is my top recommendation. Hitscan hyperlight or OP1 8k are both really good too, but they are more expensive and arguably worse. (Or they can get even more expensive to match the Mchose L7) Dareu A950 wing can sometimes have crazy deals on AliExpress, but otherwise is noticeably worse, and certainly no cheaper than the other options. Scyrox V6/V8 basically just a worse more expensive Mchose L7 series, but if you like the more pronounced hump it can be a good option. And mentioning it because others recommend it but I wouldn't even consider a Crazylight mini, to close shape wise to an Mchose L7 and significantly more expensive for worse performance.
For one (and to answer your other question about why it fails as a competition mouse) Corsair software doesn't let you adjust debounce time from the standard 8 ms. This means that in a competitive setting (with 125 Hz server tick rate) the click latency is bad enough to actually matter. You also can't turn off motion sync. And the implementation of their sensor is so bad it's more like a halfway between a 3950 and a 3395. Dareu also has a better sensor position. And at least some Corsairs sabre v2s had an actual top flex issue that the Dareu didn't (both will flex if you squeeze enough, but the Corsair would flex in normal use sometimes)
I think by latest testing the Corsair sabre v2 pro actually fails as a competition mouse, and does so in a way I didn't think was possible anymore. Which given even $15 mice don't, is truly an impressive feat.
so its basically double as expensive as its supposed to be with its specs. corsair is really not learning fast.\^\^
ive personally made very bad experiences with quality. stuff just doesnt even last a year. this mouse in particular is about 2 years late and double the price of other mice with similar specs.
i have made really bad experiences with corsair products quality overall. can not recommend. overpriced and not even good (good as long as it lasts but doesnt last long enough). you could get a flawless mchose L7 with 39g, 8khz polling and optical switches for 50 bucks nowadays btw.
Great review and I echo everything you said about it. It’s very similar to the Pulsar Crazylight which I have been using for the last few months, in both size and weight, and I was using that daily until I got the Sabre V2. I have installed the included grip tape as it was a little slippery, and it’s now my perfect mouse.
The included grip tape is fantastic on this mouse. Looks is a matter of taste but I love how this mouse feels with the grip tape.
