Strange. I got Scimitar elite se on release day, and have absolutely no issues with it. Best mmo mouse I’ve ever had. Much better fitting my hands than Naga and much better side buttons placement than SteelSeries mmo mice. Wouldn’t trade it for anything else for mmo/rts. Even finished doom dark ages on it :)
I just bought a scimitar elite se wireless and the right click sticks. Can't exchange it at store cuz they are oos now...
Corsair Scimitar Elite SE or whatever the name is that I use. I love that shit. Dont get this one tho. Its great but does NOT worth the money. Get something cheaper. I had Razer one before. Was good as well for half the price.
I'm using the new Corsair Scimitar Elite SE wireless and absolutely loving it. There's a nice ridge above the 12 button grid on the side you can rest your thumb when not actively pushing the side buttons so you shouldn't accidentally activate any of them.
I have it, and yea I would consider it. I have had many scimitars over the years, but there is one issue with them, the scroll wheel. This was a big issue for me on the wired versions, I’ve had 2 wired ones, and is currently rocking the Wireless SE. I should point out that I have not had a singular problem with the SE yet, and it really feels like a quality build. The ICUE software is mid, but it is probably the best if you’re comparing to the competitors, bugs exist, but are usually patched or solutions can be found. So in conclusion. The Wireless SE is a fantastic mouse for war Thunder, and the amount of keybinds and other programmable features you have is top notch. But it is rather heavy, 112 grams if I recall correctly. But it def works for FPS type games aswell! Cheers!
Oh nice, even the white one is on sale. I really wish the mouse market wasn't completely corned by all these hyperlight no extra button mice, there's so few choices for stuff with like more than 12 buttons which has always been my sweet spot. If this one had the two extra buttons on the top left like the G604 I'd probably jump on it, that's still my ideal layout and it sucks that Logitech killed basically all their high button options.
A lot of good choices out there. One thing to take into consideration is your grip style and hand size. A lot of the standard mmo mice are a bit on the small size. I ran into this problem, hated my naga because it was just to small. I ended up going with th EVGA x15. Is it a good mouse? Ehh..it's ok... it's got some issues, but it's a beefy boy and fits perfectly in my large hand. Am starting to look at the new scimitar elite se. Tried it at Best buy and I liked the feel of it.
I've been using this mouse for a couple years now and it's fantastic. I don't know if the scroll wheel issue is still present in the newer models but mine has help up great so far.
Yes I did. The Naga is also excellent but the Scimitar is a little larger and the adjustable keypad really helps me out with my bigger hands. Can't go wrong with either mouse, I just personally prefer the Scimitar
I've used the Razer before and it's a good mouse just a bit small for my hands. I think the Razer would probably last longer too, I just prefer the functionality of the Scimitar and the adjustable keypad is awesome. These Corsair mice have issues with the scroll wheel breaking, but it's not too difficult to repair when it does happen.
The problem with SteelSeries mice is that the GG software is neither feature complete nor compiled for arm64. With the deprecation of Rosetta 2 imminent, long-term functionality is a question mark as I've not seen any indication from the company that they intend to update to a proper native application. Shockingly, Razer has stepped up with a version of Synapse that is compiled for Apple Silicon. It supports the [Naga V2 Pro](https://www.razer.com/gaming-mice/razer-naga-v2-pro), and I would argue it works better than under Windows. There's also the the [Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE](https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/gaming-mouse/ch-9314415-ww/scimitar-elite-wireless-se-mmo-gaming-mouse-black-yellow-ch-9314415-ww). Their iCue control software is also up-to-date with Apple Silicon, but I find it "bulkier" and less intuitive than Synapse.
I love my scimitar. Might grab another at this price.
