MMO mouse are worth it IMO- I got one as a gift for WoW back during Cata and I honestly can’t go back- last time had to play with keyboard keybinds was when I was stuck playing Heavensward on PS4 while my PC was getting fixed and it was rough- even at my best I still didn’t feel as seamless/engaged as with an mmo mouse It takes a few days to get used to it but once you do it’s hard to go back. Razer I feel has the nicest feeling ones but they can be pricy and Razer QA is hit/miss (I’ve had some connectivity issues with the one with interchangeable side panels)- but the Corsair one is also extremely good. I always keep one on my desk as I prefer a lighter mouse for general use but it’s game changing for MMOs IMO.

I have the wired version and enjoy it. It’s comfortable to use and responds well. The buttons on the thumb allow for a lot less keyboard memorizing

I have a Corsair Scimitar RGB Elite and love it and if it ever dies I'll get another/the latest model. I really like that the buttons are a bit more separate. I have a Logitech G600 but I didn't like it nearly as much (I hadn't used an MMO most before). I found my thumb felt more "lost" on the G600. I also have fairly small hands, in case that's relevant info to you.

I use Corsair's Scimitar RGB Elite MMO mouse. Good shape, decent weight. And the side buttons are super useful. I'll bind the side button for any game I play. FPS? Reload, jump, duck, inventory, map (leans if the game has it) all on the mouse.

I got a backup too! It was on sale at what I considered and unmissable price but my 2nd is still going strong at 4 and a half years so the spare has been in the box for the last year. I hope I remembered to test it at the time because the return window has definitely closed!

I had been given a Steel Series Sensei as a present when GW2 came out and I actually played ele with it for the first few years. Hard to imagine now! I knew I needed one of these mythical mmo mice but the price was insane. £100 for a MOUSE? I nearly fainted when I found out what my brother paid for the SteelSeries and that was just 'normal'. When my second Sensei was on its last legs, (I had replaced the first with the SteelSeries Guild Wars 2 tie in version) I got one of the cheap Redragon ones and it was a game changer, as you've learned. Way too heavy for me, ultimately, but it did persuade me to bite the bullet on a proper one. I went with the Corsair Scimitar, because of the movable keypad as I have very small girl hands. Yes, the software has been quite a pain over the years, I used to regularly have to unplug and replug the damn thing because it wouldn't be recognised on startup, but I realise I've not had any iCue issues in a very long time now. (Touch wood.) I guess when things work they become invisible. I honestly think at this point I'd have to give up the game if I couldn't get another Scimitar.

Hello! I need to change my mice (Corsair Scimitar RGB Elite) and I was looking to get a smaller and lighter model. The one I currently have is cool for RPG games and MMOs but It strains my hand muscles when I'm practicing aiming for more that 10 minutes. For what I've researched, I think I have a medium hand (17/17,5cm - 9cm) and I do a mix of Palm Grip and Relaxed Claw Grip. Are they any mice recommendations for FPS? Hopefully with a 2 or 3 botons on the side. I usually play with 800 DPI. I've never try wireless, IDK if it generates much lag. But I think it would be better for my setup, as the cable tends to get stuck sometimes. My budget ain't great, so I can't spent too much on it. I guess its important to consider that too. I'm very out of the loop, but ppl have told me that there are new Asian brands that are very competitive with very decent budgets. So if anyone have any recommendations I'll gladly appreciate them. Thanks for your time. Edit: Thank you very much to everyone that answered. Reading the comments I was able to research a bit more. Now I know that I think I have a borderline with medium/small hand (17/17,5cm - 9cm) and I do mostly Palm Grip. The Mouse I used to feel more comfortable shape-wise was the Logitech G Pro from 3 or 4 years ago. I don't know which mice keep that shape now days. But thank you for all your recommendations. I'm still checking through the different models mentioned.
