CORSAIR - Vengeance M90

The grid style buttons take a bit to get used to. I never could. I ended up using asymmetric layouts with an empty spot for the thumb to grip. Originally a Corsair M90 and currently Corsair Darkstar.

It does have its issues but I like it. The reviews probably didn't like the feel because they are more used to the grid styles button format and not an asymmetric layout. I used to use a Corsair M90 for many years so this was the natural option. I did try the Naga Trinity but I didn't like the shape and button placement. Don't put any weight on the tilt feature; that is super gimmicky and doesn't seem to work in game. On balance I would personally take the risk. It's a very rare button layout and they are quite hard to find in stock nowadays.

I've had my Darkstar for about 4 years. I previously had a very old Corsair M90 and it had the best shape and side button placement for me. I would say the overall package is *tolerable*. iCue is mid but hasn't done anything terrible to me. The battery life was initially terrible (3-4 days) but became better (about a week); not sure if it was a result of better firmware or because [Corsair stopped faking the 2000hz polling rate](https://www.reddit.com/r/Corsair/s/f5KxW2Zehl). The construction is creaky but so far has held up well (aka the creaks are the same as 4 years ago). Not had any problems with button clicks or scroll wheel. The only practical problem is it occasionally doesn't wake up from sleep and I need to flick the on/off switch. It's heavy and I certainly wouldn't recommend it for anything fast paced. It's probably EOL; I've noticed it running out of stock quite often. It's a love hate relationship, but if I see one at a good price, I'll certainly snap it up as a backup. I've recently started using it just for MMOs and got a mchose L7 for everything else.

personally I use a corsair mmo mouse, but like the red dragon they don't offer a mirror version for left hand use that is one thing the azeron company does well is they have mirror versions of everything

You get used to it. I used to do the same thing on my Corsair MMO mouse, but now it's like second nature to me.

As an upper limb amputee. I have a Corsair MMO mouse as well, but my best accessibility peripheral is my Azeron Cryo. It's a mouse with an analog thumb stick and a 16 button keypad. It is fantastic

Ive used MMO mice for years, they are my goto. Based on where you position your hand/the keys, your thumb will naturally rest somewhere on the side of the mouse. For me it rests on the second row over the 4 key (I have this exact mouse pictured). This gives easy access to six keys, 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 8. The tactile difference makes it easy to detect which key it is (for me at least). For less used hotkeys its very easy to also access 10, 11 and 12 since they are on the corners/bottom row. My core binds for a game are usually 1,4,5,7,8 though, and more auxilary/special use case binds are the other keys. I personally cant stand the mice that have multiple buttons hidden everywhere around the mouse. I dont know why but for me its always felt worse to use. Im never going to use my ring or pinky finger to push buttons for example, nor am I going to be able to develop a habit of like tilting my mouse and other things that some mice have now. I had a G502 and went back to my corsair MMO mouse as soon as I loaded a game that had more than 2 key binds I needed on my mouse. The 12 buttons are really too much tbh, most games are not designed with needing that many binds in mind, so a MMO mouse supplies me with basically everything I could ever need in a mouse for keybinds. The only games I play with more keybinds like Microsoft Flight Simulator or Elite Dangerous I use voice attack to give voice commands for anyways.

Razer Naga is the best. I've used like 10 different MMO mice and the Razer Naga is just the best one. Brands MMO mouse I have used had terrible software problems. Although the Naga isn't totally perfect either. But its the best imo. Edit: Logitech G600 was trash. Kept having weird mouse issues where the mouse would bounce around. Happened with 2 different ones years apart. Honestly the worst MMO mouse I used. Also the ergonomics on it were the worst as well. Razer Naga Molten was good but the mouse button wore out within 6 months and I needed to open it up and hot glue the clicker to keep it working. Roccat Nyth was good and probably the longest lasting mouse I had. It started falling apart the mouse of any mouse I owned and was by far the most fragile feeling. Contradictory but thats how it was. Corsairs MMO mouse sucked ass. Kept having weird software problems. Razer Naga X wired so far is the best MMO mouse I've used. Had it 2 years now about and the biggest problem I have had was this weird problem where scrolling up/down would bounce around weirdly. But blowing air into it would fix it. It hasn't had that problem for a really long time though now. I've used more but I cant remember them off the top of my head. I used to have a literal pile of them in a box somewhere but I threw it away a few months ago. TL;DR though the MMO mouse scene is a bunch of garbage but the Razer Naga X is the least Garbage one I have used.

I know you’re wanting to move away from the Naga but I’m happy with my Naga Pro at 2 years old compared to previous mice but I did have to replace the scroll wheel sensor, I think previously was a Corsair MMO mouse I had issues with so won’t likely go back to that brand personally.

I have a corsair mmo mouse but I don't use the side buttons to play poe.

Ι use an mmo mouse myself for gw2 and works incredibly well. On action camera as well! Highly recommend. I used all the razer mmo mouses though and they all broke apart after 1 year of usage. So I moved to corsair and it's still going strong for its 6th year!

I have bad experience with the razor and corsair mmo mouses. The left button always dies after 6 months... Not quality switches there, or the contact gets bad causing random double clicks. Gw2 us too left click demanding...
